Hi, this is Andreas Moritz and this is in response to a question that I frequently receive, and that is, “How do you deal with a gallstone attack if it happens after eating a greasy, fatty meal?”
When a person has gallstones in the gallbladder or even in the bile ducts of the liver, then eating a fatty meal causes the gallbladder to release a fair amount of bile, and along with that bile stones that were maybe contained in the gallbladder may come out, and during that it may happen that one of those gallstones or several of them get stuck in the common bile duct and create what is known as a colic or gallstone attack, where the gallstone(s) simple cannot move on and the wall of the common bile duct starts contracting and this can create an enormous amount of pain.
I have had 40 such gallstone attacks before I did my first liver flush and never had one ever again after that. So about 20 or 25 years ago I started having gallstone attacks for about 10 years duration until I figured out how to clean out my liver and gallbladder, release all the stones that impacted these bile ducts and the gallbladder totally, that was… I passed about three and a half thousand stones and once I cleaned out my liver and gallbladder I never had any stones coming forth coming out of me even when I did like 15 cleanses afterward, and never passed any other stones and I never had a problem ever since.
So I would advise anyone who has gallstones and wants to avoid gallstone attacks to do a series of liver flushes until all stones are gone. However if you haven’t done that yet and you experience a gallstone attack, you may want to take some of these recommendations and apply them.
So I would suggest first of all to drink a glass of Epsom salts on an empty stomach. Epson salts have been shown to relax the bile ducts. There is a study that clearly showed when you take Epsom salts, a tablespoon of Epsom salt in one glass, eight ounces of water, you will dilate the common bile duct and the bile ducts in the liver, allowing any stones that may have been stuck in the common bile duct to pass on. The bile duct is, the common bile duct is not just relaxed, in response to taking the Epsom salt, which is magnesium sulphate, but also it will dilate, according to the research. So the dilated common bile duct will allow any trapped stones to pass through and this will stop the attack and this happens in 95% – 98 % of the cases that I have seen and advice to take a glass of Epsom salts. So this is the first emergency thing to do when you have such an attack.
The second thing I advise you to do is to drink red beet juice during the next two or three meals and it should be at least half a cup to one cup or even a little more of red beet juice taken during the meal, not after or before, but during the meal itself, and so that will also help to relax the bile ducts and allow more bile to come through. Bile is very oily and if there is a lot of bile coming through the system, then the stone has a chance to just move through the common bile duct quite easily.
The third advice I would give is to make a poultice. Take a flannel that is soaked in warm apple cider vinegar, a little hand towel, so warm up apple cider vinegar, put that in, and apply that right onto the liver area on the right side of the rib cage and this will also relax the bile ducts and allow stones that are stuck there to pass.
The fourth advice I will give is to massage the second smallest toe on both feet that means… it’s the fourth toe and also the third toe… so the third and fourth toe… If you massage these toes, there will be a relaxation of gallbladder that will also help with the release of the stones that may be stuck in the cystic duct of the gallbladder, or in the common bile duct.
These are the most effective things we can do, not every person who has a gallstone attack should immediately go to the emergency room. Even though it is very painful, in 99 % of the cases this is unnecessary and can lead to unnecessary removals of the gallbladder, which is a real nuisance because that can cause severe gastrointestinal problems throughout the person’s life, and again it’s totally unnecessary in vast majority of cases that I have seen and know about.
Thank you for listening and anyone who has a gallbladder attack should follow these advices first. Taking a glass of Epsom salt is something anyone can do almost right away and that in most cases will work very, very, very quickly.
Thank you.

Hi, this is a question from Nicolette and it’s about a friend, a dear friend of hers, who had her gallbladder removed and has had problems ever since, serious health problems, and they put a stent or a stint, as it was called also, in replacement of bile duct and to ensure that bile was moving out of the liver into the small intestine.
The problem with stents is that they don’t relax when you do a liver flush and so any stones may get caught in front of it and they don’t pass through.
So I don’t recommend doing liver flushes when there is a stint or a stent there, and that’s very unfortunate. I wish I could give you better answer but it’s a risk because the way the liver flush works is that it relaxes the bile ducts.
There are studies to show that Epsom salts, which is magnesium sulphate, relaxes the bile ducts and dilates the passages where the bile is flowing through and the important factor with regard to liver flushes is that bile ducts dilate and release and allow the stones to pass through without getting caught, without getting trapped, so that the stones can eventually pass through the gastrointestinal tract and come out as bowel movement, as a series of bowel movements.
Now when a person has a stint or a stent, then these stones may get caught, they don’t even go through the stent because the stent is pretty small, has a small diameter that is not expandable and this can lead to back up of bile and then can lead to jaundice. So I don’t recommend going that route.
The only best bet is to avoid animal proteins at any cost because once the gallbladder has been removed there is virtually no chance of digesting animal proteins because in order to digest these proteins the person needs a lot of fat. Without the fat, the proteins won’t get digested. For it to digest fat a person has to have a lot of bile and this instance when the gallbladder is missing, there is no bile available that is used by the body to digest the fats.
There are basically two pathways for bile to move out of the liver. One is directly into the small intestine through the common bile duct and the other one is to collect the bile and remove about ninety present of the water making the bile very, very thick and this happens in the gallbladder. So the gallbladder collects a lot of bile, makes it very concentrated and then when the person eats food that contains fats, that all proteins which also usually contain fats, then the gallbladder is pushing that bile into the intestines which digests it. But if the gallbladder is… it has been removed, it can no longer do that obviously, and this creates digestive trouble that your friend is talking about.
So once again, avoiding those foods like eggs, cheese, milk, fish, chicken and red meat and hamburgers and things like that obviously. So it’s important to leave out these foods and that should make it easier and to replace any oils or fats that she takes in at the moment with coconut oil which doesn’t require bile to digest it.
She may also want to use a bile supplement to help her with the digestion of fats that are naturally occurring in some fruits like avocado, for example, and so that she can still digest them.
Otherwise unfortunately I cannot give you so much more advice. There is a liver tea that is in my book “The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush” that you may take which can increase the bile flow to a certain degree; obviously it cannot remove the intra-hepatic gallstones that are still in her liver.
When a person has a gallbladder removed one of the main reasons for having the gallbladder removed is gallstones, and the gallstones in the gallbladder can only occur if the bile ducts in the liver have been congested with what is known as the intra-hepatic gallstones, which we should clear out while also clearing any existing stones in the gallbladder.
In her situation, her gallbladder having been removed, she should remove the stones in the liver but as long as there is a stent in there, that is in my opinion, not advisable.
So, taking care of diet, lifestyle, all the other things that she can still do to improve her health and her digestion, which she can find if she is interested, in my book “Timeless Secrets Of Health And Rejuvenation”

Hi, this is from a person who is suffering from inflamed gallbladder and doctors urgently told her that the gallbladder should be removed and that she has to do that very quickly.
I personally cannot give you advice, medical advice, to remove the gallbladder or keep it, either way, there are things that have worked for many people including myself. I suffered from chronic gallbladder inflammation and so I can only speak for myself here, and for those who did the liver and gallbladder flushes to rescue or save their gallbladder, and it worked. It definitely worked for me, I suffered from over 40 gallstone attacks before I did my first liver flush and I never had a gallstone attack again. And my gallbladder was packed full, the walls were enlarged, that means inflamed. So I did the liver and gallbladder flush even though I did have pain in that area and chronic inflammation.
Typically, I recommend that one doesn’t do a liver and gallbladder flush when there is inflammation, but again, it worked for me, and it might work for you, or it might not. So I cannot really tell you whether it will or it won’t.
However, you asked a question also whether taking Epsom salts might be of value here, and once again I have seen many people who suffered from gallstone attacks, by taking a glass of Epsom salts, that is a tablespoon of Epsom salts in a glass of water on an empty stomach has greatly alleviated the pain and there was a study actually that has shown that, a couple of years ago that, in fact, Epsom salts have been proven to do this, and they found that people with… who suffered from an obstruction in the common bile duct or the gallbladder, that they relieved that obstruction painlessly and were able to recover from it and it’s very, very effective. Magnesium sulphate should definitely be used and that has been recommended by the researchers in that study to relax and dilate the bile ducts, so that any obstructions inside them can easily move on, and that will allow you to reduce the inflammation in the gallbladder as well, and allow you then to resume or start with a series of liver flushes to clear out any stones, in the liver particularly, and also in the gallbladder.
And this would be my preferred approach, at the same time, make sure during this transitional period to follow the diet that I recommend in my book “The Amazing Liver And Gallbladder Flush” or “Timeless Secrets Of Health And Rejuvenation” so that you don’t incur another gallstone attack. Eggs, cheese, milk, fish – these are foods you definitely should avoid or any fried foods or deep fried foods, very fatty foods should be avoided during this time so that you will recover from this swiftly and effectively.
Hope this will help you and you can forget about having such an important organ removed which otherwise you… when it’s removed can give you a lot of problems. You can find out a lot of people who unfortunately have their gallbladder removed, complaining about numerous problems or having the same problems as they had before that never go away even after their gallbladder has been removed, and doctors told them this will solve all their problems.

Hi, this is Andreas Moritz and today I would like to discuss a question from Catherine and she is asking if someone with Stage 4 gallbladder cancer is strong enough to do the liver cleanse, and she is asking if it will help with the cancer or even the side-effects of past chemotherapy treatments.
First of all, I don’t recommend anyone who has been undergoing chemotherapy to begin with the liver cleansing procedure or process unless there are at least six to eight months between the two.
Chemotherapy drugs are extremely toxic and they cause damage to many parts of the body because of inflammation of cells. As you know, chemotherapy only works because it destroys cells so it will destroy lot of cells, healthy cells, in the body just as well as it can destroy cancerous cells.
It also is a leading cause of gallbladder stones – or gallstones in the gallbladder, and gallstones in the intra-hepatic bile ducts – the bile ducts inside the liver, and so this is something we have to be very careful about, because the inflammation can be so strong in the body because of the chemotherapy that the body doesn’t have the strength and the stamina to endure a cleansing process that will eliminate lot of toxic particles that come from the previously experienced poisoning through chemotherapy.
So, a lot of these stones are filled with toxins, and they should at least stay in the liver for six to eight months before coming out so that the toxins, the poisons are properly encoated – coated and enveloped with bile – so that when they come out they don’t cause harm to the gastro-intestinal wall as they come through. So I don’t recommend at this stage then to do liver and gallbladder flushes.
The other thing is that at that late stage there can be all kinds of complications when stones actually pass through or are eliminated from the gallbladder that I don’t recommend when there is an illness an acute or severe illness like that to do the liver and gallbladder flushes.
So it would be best to focus on other things like diet, lifestyle changes, increasing the vitamin D in the body through regular sun exposure, sleeping early before ten o’clock and eating the main meal at lunch time, so whatever food is digested there is a better chance to digest the food more effectively if it’s eaten at lunch time and only have a light evening meal so that there is not a lot of undigested food lingering in the lower intestines which can put a great burden on the liver.
I have seen Stage 4 gallbladder cancers get reversed. So once she is feeling a lot better, she may intend doing liver and gallbladder flushes, but again, there should be at least six to eight months between doing that and the treatment of chemotherapy.
Thank you so much.

Hi, this is another question about the gallbladder, and a gallbladder surgeon who wants to take out someone’s gallbladder. This is from Coleen Woodman and I can advise, she is writing that she has had two gallbladder attacks this fall and did my liver and gallbladder flush a month ago and got about a thousand green, white cholesterol stones, some as big as 1.5 centimeters in diameter. And she says she feels great after the flush. She had an ultrasound when she was in the ER for the attacks and requested another one today to see if there are any issues or stones.
I can tell you that as long as you feel good, don’t feel tempted to remove an organ that is already functioning much better. My experience has been that people who do liver and gallbladder flushes, and even after the first liver and gallbladder flush, they don’t have another attack. Simply because many gallstones attacks happen not because of stones that come out of the gallbladder but stones that come out of the liver bile ducts. In fact I have had many, many people who have had their gallbladder surgically removed and still they have gallstone attacks where a stone from the liver bile ducts comes out and gets stuck in the common bile duct and triggers an attack. So there is no guarantee that once your gallbladder is out, you won’t have any more gallstone attacks.
The surgeon has no clue as to what these stones are, as you have indicated, he is not aware of intra-hepatic gallstones that are described by Johns Hopkins University as intra-hepatic – inside the liver, they occur inside the liver, most doctors are not aware of these terms simply because they cannot be recognized through ultrasound scans and they don’t show up because there is no reflecting, there is nothing in these stones that causes ultrasound waves to bounce back, to be echoed back, and therefore these waves simply go through, the sound waves go through them and there is no image of stones in the liver or in the gallbladder from the soft kinds of stones, the cholesterol stones, that don’t contain calcifications.
So I would suggest take your own health in your own hands because nobody else will do that for you, and listen to yourself, how you feel, having passed one thousand stones is a good beginning, but there is more in there. People who have gallstones in the gallbladder have thousands of stones in the liver bile ducts and the earlier, the faster you get them out, the better.
So keep cleansing the liver and gallbladder until there are no more stones coming out, then you may want to, if you like, to have another ultrasound, I don’t recommend ultrasound because they have also shown to have negative effects on the human body, but if you want to do that, you can do that.
Typically I found that calcified stones come out not before cleanse number 6, 7 or 8 as it has been in my own case but before that I passed thousands of non-calcified stones just as you have experienced it, and these are the more important stones to release rather than the few small, relatively small, or small numbers of stones that occur in the gallbladder itself.
So better to follow your instincts, your inclination, and follow your happiness. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it.

Hi, this is Andreas Moritz and today I am answering a question about stents or staples that are put in after a gallbladder has been removed surgically.
I personally don’t recommend that anyone who has a stent in the common bile duct to do any liver and gallbladder flushes because the common bile duct would not dilate enough, and stone scan get stuck in the stent.
We need to have a functional common bile duct that is capable of dilating, expanding, dilating in response to taking Epsom salts, and the mixture of olive oil and citrus juice so that the stones travel without any obstruction or being stuck, getting stuck, in the common bile ducts.
So I don’t recommend liver and gallbladder flushes for people who have a stent in the common bile duct.
Having said this, those who have a staple in the cystic duct, or the duct that used to go from the gallbladder into the common bile duct, if that little part is stapled, then there is no problem doing liver flushes because the stones will come directly from the liver and through the common bile duct end up going in the same way as a person who still has a gallbladder passing into the small intestine and then going out through the large intestine.
So, once again, if there is a stent in the common bile duct, don’t do liver and gallbladder flushes, if you have a staple in the part that is the cystic duct, then there is no problem doing the liver flush.
Thank you.

During the morning and, perhaps, afternoon hours following the liver flush, you will have a number of watery bowel movements. These initially consist of gallstones mixed with food residue, and then just stones mixed with water. Most of the gallstones are pea-green and float in the toilet because they contain bile compounds. The stones will be in different shades of green and may be bright-colored and shiny like gemstones. Only bile from the liver can cause this green color.
Gallstones can come in many sizes, colors, and shapes. The light colored stones are the newest. Dark-green stones are the oldest. Some are pea-sized or smaller, and others are as big as 1 inch in diameter. There may be dozens and, sometimes, even hundreds of stones (of different sizes and colors) coming out at once. Also, watch for tan-colored and white stones. Some of the larger tan or white stones may sink to the bottom with the stool. These are calcified gallstones that have been released from the gallbladder. They contain heavier toxic substances, with only small amounts of cholesterol. All the green and yellowish stones are as soft as putty, thanks to the action of the apple juice.
You may also find a layer of white or tan-colored chaff, or ‘foam’, floating in the toilet. The foam consists of millions of tiny white, sharp-edged cholesterol crystals, which can easily rupture small bile ducts. They are equally important to release.
Try to make a rough estimate of how many stones you have eliminated. To permanently cure bursitis, back pain, allergies, or other health problems, and to prevent diseases from arising, you need to remove all the stones. This may require at least 8 to 12 flushes, which can be performed at three-week or monthly intervals. (Do not flush more frequently than that!)
The three-week break between flushes may include the six-day preparation for the next liver flush, but most ideally, it should start after the three weeks have passed. If you cannot flush this often, you may take more time between flushes. The important thing to remember is that once you have started cleansing the liver, you should keep cleansing it until no more stones come out during two consecutive flushes. Leaving the liver half clean for a long period of time (three or more months) may cause greater discomfort than not cleansing it at all. The liver, as a whole, will begin to function more efficiently soon after the first flush, and you may notice sudden improvements, sometimes within several hours. Pains will lessen, energy will increase, and clarity of mind will improve considerably. However, within a few days, stones from the rear of the liver will have traveled ‘forward’ toward the two main bile ducts (hepatic ducts) in the liver, which may cause some or all of the previous symptoms of discomfort to return. In fact, you might feel disappointed because the recovery seems so short-lived. Yet all of this merely indicates that some stones were left behind, ready to be removed with the next round of cleansing.
Nevertheless, the liver’s self-repair and cleansing responses will have increased significantly, adding a great deal of effectiveness to this extremely important organ of the body. As long as there are still a few small stones traveling from some of the thousands of small bile ducts to any of the hundreds of larger bile ducts, they may combine to form larger stones and produce previously experienced symptoms, such as backache, headache, ear ache, digestive trouble, bloating, irritability, anger, and so forth, although these may be less severe than they were before.
If two consecutive new cleanses no longer produce any stones, which may happen after 6 to 8 flushes (in severe cases it may take 10 to 12 or more), your liver can be considered ‘stone-free’. Nevertheless, it is recommended that you repeat the liver flush every six to eight months. Each flush will give a further boost to the liver and take care of any toxins or new stones that may have accumulated in the meantime.
Caution: Never cleanse when you are suffering an acute illness, even if it is just a simple cold. If you suffer from a chronic illness, however, cleansing your liver may be the best thing you can do for yourself.

During my research with thousands of patients suffering from almost every kind of illness, including terminal diseases, I found that each person had large numbers of gallstones in the liver and, in many cases, also in the gallbladder. When these people eliminated these stones through the liver flush and introduced simple health-forming habits and supportive measures, they recovered from diseases that defied both conventional and alternative methods of treatment.
What follows is a description of some of the more common signs indicating the presence of gallstones in the liver and gallbladder. If you have any of them, you will most likely derive great benefits from cleansing your liver and gallbladder. In my practice, I have found these indications to be highly accurate. In case you are not sure whether you have stones, it may be useful to cleanse the liver anyway; it can improve your health significantly, regardless. There is an old saying: “The proof of the pudding is in the eating.” The only way to discover for yourself whether you have gallstones is to do the liver flush. You will find that when you remove all the stones that may be present, the symptoms of disease will gradually disappear, and health will return to normal.
Signs and Marks
The Skin
The major function of the skin is to continuously adjust our internal body to the ever-changing external environment, which includes temperature, humidity, dryness, and light. In addition, skin covers the body to protect us against injury, microbes, and other harmful agents. Apart from having to deal with these external influences, the skin also monitors and adapts according to internal changes taking place within the body. Accordingly, the skin reflects the condition of the organs and body fluids, including the blood and lymph. Any long-term abnormal functioning of the body will inevitably show up in the skin as skin blemishes, discoloration, or changed condition, such as dryness, oiliness, wrinkles, lines, and so forth. Almost all skin disorders have their root in an imbalanced liver condition. Gallstones lead to circulatory disorders, which reduce the nutrient supply to, and waste removal from, the skin and prevent healthy development and normal turnover cycles of skin cells. The following marks are particularly indicative of gallstones in the liver and gallbladder:
Black spots and small or large brown patches that are the color of freckles or moles: They usually appear on the right or left side of the forehead, between the eyebrows or under the eyes. They may also show up just above the right shoulder or between the shoulder blades. Most prominent are the so-called liver spots on the back of the hands and forearms, often seen among middle-aged and elderly people. If gallstones, which are spontaneously excreted by the gallbladder, get caught in the colon, such spots may also appear in the area where the thumb and index finger meet. These liver spots usually start fading after the majority of stones are removed from the liver and gallbladder. Most people assume that the liver spots are due to sun damage and “normal” aging. This is a myth. Liver spots, as the name suggests, come from the liver. Sun exposure merely brings to the surface of the skin any existing acidic waste deposits.
Vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows: There may be one deep line or two, sometimes three, lines in this region. These lines or wrinkles, which are not a part of natural aging, indicate an accumulation of many gallstones in the liver. They show that the liver is enlarged and has hardened. The deeper and longer the wrinkles are, the more the deterioration of liver function has progressed. A line near the right eyebrow also indicates congestion in the spleen. Furthermore, the vertical lines represent a great deal of repressed frustration and anger. Anger arises when gallstones prevent proper bile flow. A bilious nature is one that keeps toxins trapped-toxins that the liver tries to eliminate via bile. Vice versa, anger can trigger gallstone formation. If white or yellow patches accompany the wrinkles, a cyst or tumor may be developing in the liver. Pimples or growth of hair between eyebrows, with or without wrinkles, indicate that the liver, gallbladder, and spleen are affected.
Horizontal wrinkles across the bridge of the nose: These are a sign of pancreatic disorders due to gallstones in the liver. If a line is deep and pronounced, there may be pancreatitisor diabetes.
Green or dark color of the temple area at the sides of the head: This shows that the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and spleen are underactive because of deposits of gallstones in both the liver and gallbladder. This may be accompanied by a green or blue color on either side of the bridge of the nose, which indicates impaired spleen functions. A horizontal line across the bridge of the nose implies weakness of the pancreas.
Oily skin in the area of the forehead: This reflects poor liver performance due to gallstones. The same applies to excessive perspiration in this part of the head. A yellow color of the facial skin indicates disorders of the bile functions of the liver and gallbladder, and a weakness of the pancreas, kidneys, and excretory organs.
Hair loss in the central region of the head: This mark indicates that the liver, heart, small intestines, pancreas, and reproductive organs are becoming increasingly congested and aggravated. There is a tendency to develop cardiovascular disease, chronic digestive problems, and the formation of cysts and tumors. Early graying of hair shows that liver and gallbladder functions are underactive.
The Nose
Hardening and thickening at the tip of the nose: This indicates chronic liver weakness, resulting in hardening of the arteries and the accumulation of fat around the heart, liver, spleen, kidneys, and prostate glands. If the enlargement is excessive and blood vessels are visible, a heart attack or stroke may be imminent.
The nose is constantly red: This condition shows an abnormal condition of the heart, with a tendency toward high blood pressure(hypertension). A purple nose indicates low blood pressure. Both conditions are due to imbalanced liver, digestive, and kidney functions.
Cleft nose or indentation of the tip of the nose: This mark indicates irregular heartbeat and heart murmur. If one half of the cleft nose is larger than the other, this shows that one side of the heart is abnormally enlarged. Arrhythmia and panic attacks may accompany this condition. There may be severe lymphatic congestion caused by digestive disorders such as constipation, colitis, stomach ulcer, and so on. Liverfunctions are subdued because of large amounts of gallstones cutting off the blood supply to the liver cells. Bile secretions are insufficient. (Note: I have personally seen clefts in the nose disappear after liver flushing.)
The nose is bending toward the left: Unless caused by an accident, this asymmetric shape of the nose implies that the organs on the right side of the body are underactive. These include the liver, gallbladder, right kidney, ascending colon, right ovary or testicle, and right side of the brain. The main cause of this condition is an accumulation of gallstones in the liver and gallbladder (the nose is likely to return to center once the stones are removed).
The Eyes
Skincolor under the eyes is yellowish: This indicates that the liver and gallbladder are overactive. A dark, even black color in the same area results when the kidneys, bladder, and reproductive organs are overtaxed because of a prolonged disorder of the digestive system. A grayish, pale color occurs if the kidneys and, occasionally, the lungs are malfunctioning owing to improper lymphdrainage from these organs. Also, the endocrine system may be affected.
Water-containing bags under the lower eyelids: These are formed as a result of congestion in the digestive and excretory organs, which results in inadequate lymph drainage from the head area. If these eye bags are chronic and contain fat, this points toward the presence of inflammation, cysts and, possibly, tumors in the bladder, ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and prostate.
A white cloud covers the pupil of the eye: The cloud consists mostly of mucus and degenerate protein particles. It indicates the development of cataracts brought about by longstanding poor liver and digestive performance.
Constant redness in the white of the eye: This condition is caused by the protrusion of capillaries, indicating disorders in the circulatory and respiratory functions. White or yellow mucus patches in the white of the eye show that the body is accumulating abnormal amounts of fatty substances because the liver and gallbladder have amassed large quantities of gallstones. When this occurs, the body has a tendency to develop cysts and both benign and malignant tumors.
A thick white line covers parts of the periphery of the iris, particularly the lower parts: This indicates the accumulation of large amounts of cholesterol in the blood circulatory system. The lymphatic system also has major congestion and fat retention. (Note: If you wish to understand the connection of the eyes and iris with the various parts of the body, I recommend that you study the science of iridology, or eye interpretation.)
The eyes have lost their natural luster and shine: This signals that both the liver and kidneys are congested and unable to filter the blood properly. “Dirty” blood, loaded with toxins or waste products, is heavier and more sluggish than clean blood. The thickened blood slows circulation and reduces oxygen and nutrient supply to the cells and organs, including the eyes. If this condition persists, the cells will deteriorate and inevitably age or die off. The eye and braincells are especially affected because the blood has to flow against gravity to reach them. Most vision problems are the direct or indirect result of reduced blood-cleansing capacity by the liver and kidneys. Clean and nutrient-rich blood from a healthy, efficient liver can flow easily and nourish the eye tissues better, thereby improving most eye problems.
The Tongue, Mouth, Lips,and Teeth
The tongue is coated yellow or white, especially in the back part: This indicates an imbalance in the secretion of bile, which is the major cause of digestive trouble. Toxic residues of undigested and fermented or putrefied food linger in the intestinal tract. This blocks lymph flow in the thoracic duct and prevents toxins and microbes in the throat and mouth area from being removed.
Teeth impressions on the sides of the tongue, often accompanied by white mucus discharge: This indicates weak digestion and inadequate absorption of nutrients from the small intestine.
Pimples on the tongue: They are indicative of poor digestion and the presence of fermenting and putrefying food in both the small and large intestines.
Cracks on the tongue: These are signs of long-term intestinal trouble. When food is not being mixed with a sufficient amount of bile, it remains partially undigested. Undigested foods are subjected to bacterial putrefaction and, thereby, become a source of toxicity. Constant exposure of the intestinal wall to the toxins that these bacteria produce irritates and injures it. The resulting lesions, scars, and hardening of the intestinal walls is then reflected by the cracks on the tongue. There may be little or no mucus discharge on the tongue.
Repeated mucus discharge into the throat and mouth: Bile may regurgitate into the stomach, thereby irritating its protective lining and causing excessive mucus production. Some of the bile and mucus may reach the mouth area. This can create a bad (bitter) taste in the mouth and give rise to frequent attempts at clearing the throat, which sometimes involve coughing. Mucus discharge without this bitter taste results when food is not digested properly, and toxins are generated. The mucus helps to trap and neutralize some of these toxins, but as a side effect, it causes congestion.
Bad breath and frequent burping: Both signs point toward the presence of undigested, fermenting, or putrefying food in the GI tract. Bacteria acting on the waste material produce gases, which can be very toxic at times, hence the bad odor emanating from the breath.
Crust formations at the corners of the mouth: This indicates the presence of duodenal ulcers, caused by regurgitation of bile into the stomach, or by other reasons discussed earlier. Ulcers in various parts of the mouth or on the tongue show that inflammation or ulceration is occurring in the corresponding parts of the GI tract. For example, a mouth ulcer on the outside parts of your lower lip points to the presence of ulcer lesions in the large intestine. Herpes (‘cold sores’) on the lip corresponds to more severe inflammation and ulceration of the intestinal wall.
Dark spots or patches on the lips: These marks occur when obstructions in the liver, gallbladder, and kidneys have resulted in slowness and stagnation of blood circulation and lymph drainage throughout the body. There may be advanced, abnormal constriction of blood capillaries. If the color of the lips is reddish (dark) or purple, this indicates that heart, lung, and respiratory functions are subdued.
Swollen or expanded lips: This condition indicates intestinal disorders. If the lower lip is swollen, the colon suffers constipation, diarrhea, or both, alternating between them. Toxic gases are formed from improperly digested foods, which give rise to bloating and abdominal discomfort. A swollen or enlarged upper lip indicates stomach problems, including indigestion, frequently accompanied by ‘heartburn’. An abnormal, tightly closed mouth shows that a person suffers from disorders of the liver, gallbladder, and, possibly, the kidneys. If the lower lip is dry, peels, and splits easily, there may either be chronic constipation or diarrhea, with large amounts of toxic acids prevalent in the colon. This condition is accompanied by advanced dehydration of the colon cells.
Swollen, sensitive, or bleeding gums: Any these symptoms occurs when lymph drainage from the mouth area is inefficient as a result of intestinal lymph congestion. The blood has an overload of acid compounds. Inflammation deep in the throat, with or without swelling of the tonsils, is also caused by lymphatic blockage. Tonsillitis, which often occurs among children, is a sign of constant retention of toxins contained in the lymph fluids and back-flushing of waste from the GI tract into the tonsils.
Toothproblemsare generally caused by nutritional imbalance: Poor digestion and overconsumption of refined, processed, and highly acid-forming foods, such as sugar, chocolate, meat, cheese, coffee, soda, and so forth, deplete the body of minerals and vitamins. Adults usually have thirty-two teeth. Each tooth corresponds to a vertebra of the spine, and each vertebra is connected to a major organ or gland. If any of the four canines are decaying, for example, it indicates the presence of gallstones in the liver and gallbladder. A yellow color of the teeth, and of the canines in particular, indicates the presence of toxins in the organs located in the mid abdominal region, that is, the liver, gallbladder, stomach, pancreas, and spleen. Bacteria are not the cause of tooth decay. They only attack tooth tissue that already has an unbalanced acid-alkaline ratio. Proper saliva secretions also play a major role in the protection of the teeth. Truly healthy teeth last a lifetime and are maintained by a healthy digestive system.
Hands, Nails, and Feet
White, fatty skin on the fingertips is a sign of dysfunctional digestive and lymphatic systems. In addition, the liver and kidneys may be forming cysts and tumors. An excessive discharge of fats may occur, seen as oiliness on the skin.
Dark red fingernails point toward a high content of cholesterol, fatty acids, and minerals in the blood. The liver, gallbladder, and spleen are congested and underactive, and all excretory functions are overburdened with waste products. Whitish nails indicate the accumulation of fat and mucus in and around the heart, liver, pancreas, prostate, or ovaries. This condition is accompanied by poor blood circulation and low hemoglobin levels (anemia).
Vertical ridges in the fingernails generally indicate poor absorption of food and the disruption of important digestive, liver, and kidney functions. There may be general fatigue. Strong vertical ridges on the thumbnails, possibly with split ends, show that a person’s testicles and prostate or ovaries are not functioning properly. This is caused by the ineffectiveness of the digestive and circulatory systems.
Horizontal indentations in the nails show unusual or drastic changes in dietary habits. The changes can be either beneficial or harmful.
White dots on the nails appear when the body eliminates large amounts of calcium and/or zinc in response to excessive consumption of sugar or sugar-containing foods and beverages. Sugar has highly acid-forming properties and leaches out these minerals from the bones and teeth.
A hard protrusion at the ball of the foot: This condition shows progressive hardening of the organs located in the middle of the body, including the liver, stomach, pancreas, and spleen. It points to the accumulation of numerous gallstones in the liver and gallbladder.
A yellow color of the feet indicates the accumulation of many gallstones in the liver and gallbladder. If the color of any part of the feet is green, then spleen and lymph functions are severely disrupted. This may lead to cysts and to benign and malignant tumors.
Hardness at the tip of the fourth toe or a callus in the area under the fourth toe: This symptom shows that gallbladder functions are stagnant. General rigidity, a bent condition, and pain in the fourth toe imply a long history of gallstones in the gallbladder and liver.
Curving of the first toe: If the large toe curves inward toward the second toe, it shows that liver functions are subdued owing to the presence of gallstones in the liver bile ducts. At the same time, spleen and lymphatic functions are overactive because of the accumulation of toxic residues from inadequately digested foods, metabolic waste, and cellular debris.
White color and rugged surfaces on the fourth and fifth toenails: This indicates poor performance of the liver and gallbladder, as well as of the kidneys and urinary bladder.
The Constitution of Fecal Matter
The stool or fecal matter emits a sharp, sour, or penetrative odor: This indicates that food is not being digested properly. Fermented and putrefied food and the presence of large quantities of ‘unfriendly’ bacteria in the feces give rise to an abnormal odor and sticky texture. Normal stool is coated with a thin mucus lining, which prevents the anus from being soiled.
Dry and hard stools are an indication of constipation, and so are sticky stools. Diarrhea is yet another sign of weak performance of the digestive system and the liver, in particular.
Pale or clay-colored feces: This is still another indication of poor liver performance (bile gives the stool its natural brown color). If the stool floats, large amounts of undigested fats are contained in it, making it lighter than water.
Conclusion
There may be many more signs and symptoms indicating the presence of gallstones in the liver and gallbladder than those listed above. Pain in the right shoulder, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, numbness in the legs and sciatica, for example, may have no obvious relation to gallstones in the liver. Yet when the gallstones are removed, these conditions usually disappear.
The body is a network of information, and every part influences and communicates with every other part. Seemingly insignificant marks or signs on the skin, in the eyes, or on a toe may be the harbingers of serious health issues. When you recognize them and flush your liver and gallbladder, in concert with adopting a healthy regimen of diet and lifestyle, you will find that the signs of wellness and vitality begin to reappear. To prevent illness and make permanent health a practical reality in your life, it is important to understand what actually causes gallstones in the first place.

A healthy liver is an indication of overall good health. When the liver’s ducts are obstructed by hundreds and thousands of gallstones, there is congestion in the bile ducts.
Female and male reproductive systems both depend largely on the smooth functioning of the liver. Gallstones in the liver obstruct the movement of bile through the bile ducts, and this impairs digestion and distorts the structural framework of liver lobules. It diminishes the liver’s production of both serum albumin and clotting factors. Serum albumin is the most common and abundant protein in the blood, responsible for maintaining plasma osmotic pressure at its normal level of 25mmHg. Clotting factors are essential for the coagulation of blood. Insufficient osmotic pressure cuts down the supply of nutrients to the cells, including those of the reproductive organs. This may lead to reduced lymph drainage. Poor lymph drainage from the reproductive organs can cause fluid retention and edema, as well as the retention of metabolic waste and dead cells. All of this may result in the gradual impairment of sexual functions.
Most diseases of the reproductive system result from improper lymph drainage. The thoracic duct (see Disorders of the Circulatory System) drains lymphfluid from all organs of the digestive system, including the liver, spleen, pancreas, stomach, and intestines. This large duct often becomes severely congested when gallstones in the liver impair proper digestion and absorption of food. It is obvious, yet hardly recognized in mainstream medicine, that congestion in the thoracic duct affects the organs of the reproductive system. These organs, like most others in the body, need to release their turned-over cells and metabolic waste matter into the thoracic duct.
Impaired lymphatic drainage from the female pelvic area is responsible for suppressed immunity, menstrual problems, premenstrual stress (PMS), menopausal symptoms, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), cervicitis, all uterine diseases, vulvar dystrophies with growth of fibrous tissue, ovarian cystsand tumors, cell destruction, hormone deficiencies, low libido, infertility, and genetic mutations of cells leading to cancer.
Thoracic blockage may also lead to lymph congestion in the left breast, thereby leaving deposits of noxious substances behind that can cause inflammation, lump formation, milk duct blockage, and cancerous tumors. If the right lymphatic duct, which drains lymph from the right half of the thorax, head, neck, and right arm, becomes congested, waste accumulates in the right breast, leading to similar problems there.
A continuous restriction of lymphdrainage from the male pelvic area causes benign and malignant prostate enlargement as well as inflammation of the testes, penis, and urethra. Impotenceis a likely consequence of this development. The consistent increase of gallstones in the liver, a common factor among middle-aged men in affluent societies, is one of the major reasons for lymph blockage in this vital part of the body. Venereal diseases occur when the exposed parts of the body reach a high level of toxicity. Microbial infection is preceded by major lymph congestion. The collapsing capacity of the lymphatic system (which includes the immune system) to repel invading microorganisms is the true reason for most reproductive and sexual disorders.
When all gallstones from the liver are removed and a healthy diet and lifestyle are maintained, lymphatic activity can return to normal. The reproductive tissue receives improved nourishment and becomes more resistant. Infections subside; cysts, fibrous tissue, and tumors are broken down and removed; and sexual functions are restored.
Apart from disorders of the reproductive system, removal of gallstones from the liver and gallbladder through a series of liver flushes can provide relief from many other health issues such as problems related to the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems, and persistent allergies and aches, Cleansing the liver’s bile ducts of gallstones is a powerful procedure to apply to improve and regain health.

Both mental and physical health depend on the effectiveness and vitality of the cells in the body. The cells of the body derive most of their energy from chemical reactions that take place in the presence of oxygen. One of the resultant waste products is carbon dioxide. The respiratory system provides the routes by which oxygen is taken into the body and carbon dioxide is excreted. Blood serves as the transport system for the exchange of these gases between the lungs and the cells.
Gallstones in the liver can impair respiratory functions and cause allergies, disorders of the nose and nasal cavities, and diseases of the bronchi and lungs. When gallstones distort or injure the lobules (units) of the liver, the blood-cleansing ability of the liver, small intestine, lymphatic system, and immune system diminishes. Waste material and toxic substances, normally rendered harmless by these organs and systems, now begin to seep into the heart, lungs, bronchi, and other respiratory passages. Constant exposure to these irritating agents lowers the resistance of the respiratory system to them. Lymph congestion in the abdominal region, particularly in the cysterna chyli and thoracic duct, hampers proper lymphatic drainage from the respiratory organs. Most respiratory ailments occur because of such lymphblockages.
Pneumonia results when protective measures fail to prevent inhaled or blood-borne microbes from reaching and colonizing the lungs. Gallstones harbor harmful microbes, as well as highly toxic, irritating material that can enter the blood via areas in the liverthat are damaged by the presence of gallstones. Gallstones are a constant source of immune suppression, which leaves the body, and particularly the upper respiratory tract, susceptible to both internal and external disease-triggering factors. These include both blood-borne and airborne microbes (believed to cause pneumonia), cigarette smoke, alcohol, x-rays, corticosteroids, allergens, antigens, common pollutants, waste matter from the GI tract, and the like.
Further respiratory complications arise when handfuls of gallstones that have accumulated in the liverbile ducts lead to liver enlargement. The liver, situated in the upper abdominal cavity, spans almost the entire width of the body. Its upper and anterior surfaces are smooth and shaped to fit under the surface of the diaphragm. When enlarged, the liver obstructs the movement of the diaphragm and prevents the lungs from extending to their normal capacity during inhalation.
By contrast, a smooth, healthy liver permits the lungs to easily extend into the abdominal region, which puts pressure on the abdomen and squeezes the lymphand blood vessels to force lymph and blood toward the heart. This breathing mechanism is often called ‘belly breathing’, and it can be seen in healthy babies, especially. An enlarged liver prevents the full extension of the diaphragm and lungs, which causes reduced exchange of gases in the lungs, lymphatic congestion, and the retention of excessive amounts of carbon dioxide in the lungs. The restricted uptake of oxygen negatively affects cellular functions throughout the body.
Most people in the industrialized world have an enlarged liver, especially those who are overweight or obese. What doctors generally consider a ‘normal-sized’ liveris actually oversize. Once all gallstones are removed through a series of liver flushes, the liver can gradually return to its original size.
Almost all diseases of the lungs, bronchi, and upper respiratory passagesare either caused or worsened by gallstones in the liverand can be improved or eliminated by removing these stones through liver cleansing.

Our whole lives are dictated by the way we feel. Our persona, the way we carry ourselves, our interactions with other people, our moods, cravings, patience, tolerance level, and more are strongly affected by the state of health of our nervous system. In today’s fast paced world we are exposed to a variety of conditions that wreak havoc on our bodies. The brain is the control center of the entire body and unless it receives proper nourishment, your life can be a physical and emotional mess.
Brain cells are very capable of manufacturing the quantity of chemicals they need if they are supplied with the nutrients needed to produce those chemicals. Although modern intensive agriculture has depleted most of the soil of nutrients, most nutrient deficiencies occur due to poor performance of the digestive system and, particularly, the liver. Lack of such nutrients can hinder the ability of our brain to manufacture the chemicals it needs to function optimally.
The brain can function for quite some time with substandard amounts of nutrients, but the price paid includes poor health, fatigue, lack of energy, mood swings, sickness, aches and pains, and general discomfort. Some deficiencies manifest in mental disease.
The nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, pairs of spinal and cranial nerves and autonomic functions, is largely dependent on the quality of the blood. Blood is composed of plasma, a straw-colored transparent fluid, and cells. The constituents of plasma are water, plasma proteins, mineral salts, hormones, vitamins, nutrient materials, organic waste products, antibodies and gases. There are three varieties of blood cells: white cells (leukocytes), red cells (erythrocytes) and platelets (thrombocytes). Any abnormal changes in the blood affect the nervous system.
All three blood cell types are formed in the red bone marrow, which is nourished and maintained by the nutrients supplied through the digestive system. Gallstones in the liver interfere with digestion and assimilation of food, which fills the plasma with excessive waste material and cuts down nutrient supplies to the red bone marrow. This, in turn, upsets the balance of blood cell constituents, disrupts hormonal pathways and causes abnormal responses in the nervous system. Most diseases afflicting the nervous system are rooted in improperly formed blood, brought about by a dysfunctional liver.
Each of the numerous functions of the liver has a direct influence on the nervous system, and particularly the brain. The liver cells convert glycogen (complex sugar) into glucose which, besides oxygen and water, is the major nutrient for the nervous system. Glucose provides most of its energy requirements. The brain, although it constitutes only 1/50 of the body weight, contains about 1/5 of the total blood volume in the body. It uses up vast amounts of glucose. Gallstones in the liver drastically cut down glucose supply to the brain and the rest of the nervous system, which can affect the performance of the organs, senses and mind. At the early stages of imbalance, a person may develop food cravings, particularly for sweet or starchy foods, and experience frequent mood swings or emotional stress.
The liver also forms the plasma proteins and most of the blood clotting factors from the available amino acids. This function becomes increasingly subdued by the presence of gallstones. If the production of clotting factors drops, platelet count will fall and there may be spontaneous capillary bleeding or hemorrhagic disease. If a hemorrhage occurs in the brain, it may cause destruction of brain tissue, paralysis or death. The severity of the bleeding may be determined by such triggers as hypertension and alcohol abuse. Platelet counts also drop when production of new cells does not keep pace with destruction of damaged or worn-out cells, which happens in the liver when gallstones cut off blood supply to liver cells.
Vitamin Kis also essential for synthesis of major clotting factors. It is a fat-soluble vitamin stored in the liver, and bile salts are required in the colon for absorption. Vitamin K becomes deficient when gallstones in the liver and gallbladder obstruct bile flow, which leads to inadequate fat absorption.
Gallstones in the liver can lead to disorders of the vascular system as well. When the blood changes and becomes thick, blood vessels begin to harden and become damaged. If a blood clot forms in an injured artery, a piece of blood clot (embolus) may lodge in a small artery distant to the injury and obstruct the blood flow, causing ischaemia and infarction. If the infarction occurs in a brain artery, it is called a stroke.
All circulatory disturbances affect the brain and the rest of the nervous system. The disruption of liver functions particularly affects astrocytes – cells that form the main supporting tissue of the central nervous system. This condition is characterized by apathy, disorientation, delirium, muscular rigidity and coma. Nitrogenous bacterial waste absorbed from the colon, normally detoxified by the liver, reaches the brain cells via the blood. Other metabolic waste products, such as ammonia, may reach toxic concentrations and change the permeability of the blood vessels in the brain and reduce the effectiveness of the blood-brain barrier. This may permit different noxious substances to enter the brain as well, causing further damage.
If the neurons of the brain no longer receive enough nourishment, there is atrophy of neural tissue, which leads to dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. In case the neurons, which are responsible for producing the brain hormone and neurotransmitter dopamine, suffer malnutrition, Parkinson’s disease results. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) occurs when the cells that produce myelin, a sheath of fatty material that surrounds most axons of nerve cells, suffer malnutrition. The myelin sheath diminishes and axons become injured.
The liver controls the digestion, absorption and metabolism of fatty substances throughout the body. Gallstones interfere with fat metabolism and affect cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol is an essential building block of all our body cells and is needed for every metabolic process. Our brain consists of more than 10% pure cholesterol (all water removed). Cholesterol is important for brain development and brain function. It protects the nerves against damage or injury. An imbalance of blood fats can profoundly affect the nervous system and, thereby, cause almost any type of illness in the body.
Removing gallstones from the liver and gallbladder increases nutrient supplies to all the cells, thereby rejuvenating the nervous system and improving all functions in the body.

The small intestine is continuous with the stomach at the pyloric sphincter and has a length of 16-19 feet (5-6 meters). It leads into the large intestine, which is about 3.5-5 feet (1-1.5 meters) long. The small intestine secretes intestinal juice to complete digestion of carbohydrates, protein and fats. It also absorbs nutrient materials necessary for nourishing and maintaining the body, and protects it against infection by microbes that have survived the anti-microbial action of hydrochloric acid in the stomach.
When acid food (chyme) from the stomach enters the duodenum, it is first mixed with bile and pancreatic juice, and then with intestinal juice. Gallstones in the liver and gallbladder drastically reduce secretion of bile, which weakens the ability of pancreatic enzymes to digest carbohydrates, protein and fat. This, in turn, restrains the small intestine from properly absorbing the nutrient components of these foods (e.g. monosaccharides from carbohydrates, amino acids from protein, and fatty acids and glycerol from fats).
Since the presence of bile in the intestines is essential for the absorption of fats, calcium and Vitamin K, gallstones can lead to life-threatening diseases, such as heart disease, osteoporosis and cancer. The liver uses the fat-soluble Vitamin K to produce the compounds responsible for the clotting of blood. In case of poor Vitamin K absorption, hemorrhagic disease may result. This vitamin cannot be adequately absorbed if there is any problem with fat digestion, due to lack of bile, pancreatic lipase and a certain amount of pancreatic fat. For the latter reason, following a low-fat diet can endanger one’s life.
Calcium is essential for the hardening of bone and teeth, the coagulation of blood and the mechanism of muscle contraction. What applies to Vitamin K also applies to all other fat-soluble vitamins, including Vitamin A, E and D. Vitamin A and carotene are also only absorbed sufficiently from the small intestine if fat absorption is normal. If Vitamin A absorption is inefficient, the epithelial cells become damaged. These cells form an essential part of all the organs, blood vessels, lymph vessels, etc. in the body. Vitamin A is also necessary to maintain healthy eyes and protect against or reduce microbial infection. Vitamin D is essential for calcification of bones and teeth. It may be noted at this point that supplementing these vitamins does not resolve the problem of deficiency.
To sum up, without normal bile secretions, these vitamins are not digested and absorbed properly and, therefore, can cause considerable damage to the lymphatic and urinary systems.
Inadequately digested foods tend to ferment and putrefy in the small and large intestines. They attract a vast number of bacteria to help speed up the process of decomposition. The breakdown products are often very toxic and so are the chemicals produced by the bacteria. All of this strongly irritates the mucous lining, which is one of the body’s foremost defense lines against disease-causing agents. Regular exposure to these toxins impairs the body’s immune system, 60% of which is located in the intestines. Overburdened by a constant influx of toxins, the small and large intestines may be afflicted with a number of disorders, including diarrhea, constipation, abdominal gas, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, diverticular disease, hernias, polyps, dysentery, appendicitis, volvulus, intussusceptions, as well as benign and malignant tumors.
Ample bile flow maintains good digestion and absorption of food, and has a strong cleansing action throughout the intestinal tract. Every part of the body depends on the basic nutrients made available through the digestive system, as well as the efficient removal of waste products from the digestive system. Gallstones in the liver and gallbladder considerably disrupt both of these vital processes. Therefore, they can be held accountable for most, if not all, of the different kinds of ailments that can afflict the body. Removal of gallstones helps to normalize the digestive and eliminative functions, improve cell metabolism and maintain balance throughout the body.

The urinary system is an extremely important excretory system of the body. It consists of the following: two kidneys, which form and excrete urine; two ureters, which convey the urine from the kidneys to the urinary bladder; a urinary bladder, where urine collects and is temporarily stored; and a urethra, through which urine passes from the urinary bladder to the exterior of the body.
Smooth functioning of the urinary systemis essential for maintaining an appropriate fluid volume by regulating the amount of water that is excreted in the urine. Other aspects of its function include regulating the concentrations of various electrolytes in the body fluids and maintaining normal pH (acids-alkalis balance) of the blood. This system is also involved in the disposal of waste products resulting from the breakdown (catabolism) of cell protein in the liver, for example.
Most diseases of the kidneys and other parts of the urinary system are related to an imbalance of the simple filtration system in the kidneys. About 26 to 40 gallons of dilute filtrate are formed each day by the two kidneys. Of these, only 34 to 52 ounces are excreted as urine (the rest is absorbed and re-circulated). With the exception of blood cells, platelets, and blood proteins, all other blood constituents must pass through the kidneys. The process of filtration is disruptedand weakened when the digestive system – and in particular, the liver – perform poorly.
Gallstones in the liver and gallbladder reduce the amount of bile that the liver is able to produce. Thus, it becomes impossible to digest food properly. Much of the undigested food begins to ferment and putrefy, leaving toxic waste matter in the blood and lymph. The body’s normal excretions, such as urine, sweat, gases, and feces, do not usually contain disease-generating waste products; that is, of course, for as long as the passages of elimination remain clear and unobstructed.
Disease-causing agents consist of tiny molecules that appear in the blood and lymph. They are visible only through powerful electron microscopes. These molecules have a strong acidifying effect on the blood. To avoid a life-threatening disease or coma, the blood must rid itself of these minute toxins. Accordingly, it dumps these unwanted intruders into the connective tissueof the organs. The connective tissue consists of a gel-like fluid (lymph) that surrounds all cells. The cells are ‘bathed’ in this connective tissue. Under normal circumstances, the body knows how to deal with acidic waste material that has been dumped into the connective tissue. It releases an alkaline product, sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), into the blood that is able to retrieve the acidic toxins, neutralize them, and then eliminate them through the excretory organs. This emergency system, though, begins to fail when toxins are deposited faster than they can be retrieved and eliminated. As a result, the connective tissue may become as thick as jelly. Nutrients, water, and oxygen can no longer pass freely, and the cells of the organs begin to suffer malnutrition, dehydration, and oxygen deficiency.
Some of the most acidic compounds are proteins from animal foods. Gallstones inhibit the liver’sability to break down these proteins. Excessive proteins are ‘temporarily’ stored in the connective tissues and then converted into collagen fiber. The collagen fiber is built into the basal membranesof the capillary walls. The basal membranes may become up to ten times as thick as normal. A similar situation occurs in the arteries. As the blood vessel walls become increasingly congested, fewer proteins are able to escape the bloodstream. This leads to blood thickening, making it more and more difficult for the kidneys to filter. At the same time, the basal membranes of the blood vessels supplying the kidneys also become congested, making them harder and more rigid. As the process of hardening of the blood vessels progresses further, blood pressure starts to rise and overall kidney performance drops. More and more of the metabolic waste products excreted by the kidney cells, which would normally be eliminated via venous blood vessels and lymphatic ducts, are now retained and adversely affect the performance of the kidneys even further.
Through all this, the kidneys become overburdened and can no longer maintain normal fluid and electrolyte balances in the body. In addition, urinary components may precipitate and form into crystals and stones of various types and sizes. Uric acid stones, for example, are formed when uric acid concentration in the urine exceeds 2 to 4 mg percent. This amount was considered within the range of tolerance until the mid-1960s, when it was adjusted upward. Uric acid is a by-product of the breakdown of protein in the liver. Since meat consumption rose sharply in that decade, the ‘within the norm’ level was adjusted to 7.5 mg percent This adjustment, however, does not make uric acid any less harmful to the body. Stones formed from excessive uric acid concentrations of 4 mg percent and higher can lead to urinary obstruction, kidney infection, and, eventually, kidney failure.
As kidney cells become increasingly deprived of vital nutrients, including oxygen, malignant tumorsmay develop. In addition, uric acid crystals that are not eliminated by the kidneys can settle in the joints and cause rheumatism, gout, and water retention.
Symptoms of impending kidney trouble are often deceptively mild in comparison to the potential severity of kidney disease. The most observable and common symptoms of kidney problems are abnormal changes in the volume, frequency, and coloration of the urine. These are usually accompanied by swelling of the eyes, face, and ankles, as well as pain in the upper and lower back. If the disease has progressed further, there may be blurred vision, tiredness, declined performance, and nausea. The following symptoms may also indicate malfunctioning of the kidneys: high blood pressure, low blood pressure, pain moving from the upper to lower abdomen, dark brown urine, pain in the back just above the waist, excessive thirst, increase in urination (especially during the night), less than 500 ml of urine per day, a feeling of fullness in the bladder, pain while passing urine, drier and browner skin pigment, ankles being puffy at night, eyes being puffy in morning, bruising, and hemorrhaging.
All major diseases of the urinary systemare caused by toxic blood; in other words, by blood filled with tiny molecules of waste material and excessive proteins. Gallstones in the liver impair digestion, cause blood and lymphcongestion, and disrupt the entire circulatory system, including that of the urinary system.
When the gallstones are removed, the urinary systemhas a chance to recuperate, rid itself of accumulated toxins and stones, and maintain fluid balance and normal blood pressure. This is necessary for all the processes in the body to run smoothly and efficiently. There may also be a strong need to cleanse the kidneys, in addition to the liver and gallbladder.

Gallstones in the liver and gallbladder can be held responsible for most diseases of the mouth. The stones interfere with the digestion and absorption of food, which in turn forces waste products meant for elimination to remain in the intestinal tract. Bacterial infection (thrush) and viral infection (herpes) in the mouth arise only when waste decomposes and becomes a source of toxicity in the body. The trapped toxins constantly irritate parts of the gastro-intestinal lining (which begins in the mouth and ends in the anus) until inflammation or ulceration occurs. The damaged cell tissue ‘invites’ more microbes to the scene of the injury to help clean up of cellular debris. This is a normal phenomenon seen everywhere in nature whenever there is something that needs to be decomposed.
Bacteria never attack, that is, infect something that is as clean, vital and healthy as a fruit hanging on a tree. Only when the fruit becomes overripe or falls to the ground do bacteria begin their clean-up job. The moment bacteria begin to decompose food or flesh, toxins are generated. These toxins can be recognized by their unpleasant odor and acidic nature. If they are generated in the body, it is only natural that symptoms of illness begin to show up.
Thrush indicates the presence of large quantities of bacteria that have spread throughout the gastro-intestinal tract, including the mouth area. It shows up in the mouth because the mucous lining there is no longer resistant enough to keep its cells in good physical shape. Since the main part of the immune system is located in the mucous lining of the gastro-intestinal tract, thrush indicates a major weakness in the body’s general immunity to disease.
Herpes, which is considered a viral disease, is similar to thrush, with the exception that, instead of bacteria attacking the cell exterior, viral materials attack the cell interior or nucleus. In both cases, the attackers target only weak and unhealthy cells, those that are already damaged or dysfunctional. Added to this dilemma, gallstones harbor plenty of bacteria and viruses, which escape the liver via the secreted bile and infect those parts of the body that have the least resistance to them.
Gallstones can lead to other problems in the mouth. They inhibit proper bile secretion, which in turn reduces appetite and secretion of saliva from the salivary glands in the mouth. Saliva is required to cleanse the mouth and keep its tissues soft and pliable. If there is not enough saliva present, destructive bacteria begin to invade the mouth cavity. This can lead to tooth decay and other tooth-related problems. But, once again, bacteria do not cause tooth decay; germs are attracted only to those areas in the mouth that are undernourished and toxic already.
A bitter taste in the mouth is caused by bile that has regurgitated into the stomach and, from there, into the mouth. This condition occurs because of major intestinal congestion. Instead of properly moving downward, parts of the intestinal content are backed up and bring gas and other irritating substances into the upper regions of the gastro-intestinal tract. Bile in the mouth drastically alters the pH-value (acid-alkalinity balance) of saliva, which impairs its cleansing properties and makes the mouth susceptible to infection.
A mouth ulcerin the lower lip indicates a simultaneous inflammatory process in the large intestine. Repeated occurrence of ulcers in either one of the corners of the mouth points to the presence of duodenal ulcers. Tongue ulcers, depending on their location, indicate inflammatory processes in corresponding areas of the alimentary canal, such as the stomach, small intestine, appendix or large intestine.

If you experience major, persisting health problems, either physical or emotional, your liver may be congested with toxic compounds that are trapped within deposits of hardened bile (intrahepatic stones). Almost all health conditions, beauty problems and premature aging are closely linked with declined liver performance which is elusive to blood tests.
Congestion in the bile ducts of the liver undermines the body’s effort to make proper use of ingested food and vital energy. This, in turn, may lead to accentuated expressions of discomfort, including fear, anger, impatience, greed, depression, dis-ease and cynicism. Cleansing the liver of existing obstructions and impurities can help restore balance, vitality and happiness in every facet of your life.
When The Body Complains…
Unlike the stomach, for example, the liver never tells you directly when it is upset or needs special attention. It does tell you indirectly, though, when it starts to perform poorly. The following conditions would not occur if the liver were in optimum shape: skin irritation, weak eyesight, unhealthy bowel movements, irregular menstrual cycles, recurring headaches, unexplainable weight gain, loss of energy, sudden aging, elevated cholesterol levels, most allergies, constricted blood vessels, bloated abdomen, water retention, gastrointestinal trouble, breathing difficulties, poor memory and concentration, pain in the joints or elsewhere in the body, brittle bones, and any major illness such as heart disease, cancer, MS, diabetes or Alzheimer’s.
The liver is responsible for processing, converting, distributing and maintaining the body’s fuel supply which consists of nutrients and energy. Impeding these vital functions not only affects the body’s performance as a whole, but also the health of every single cell. The liver cannot perform any of these functions properly if its bile ducts are clogged with deposits of hardened bile or ‘gallstones’ (made of gall or bile). Gallstones are caused by a number of factors, including the modern fast pace of living, stress, imbalanced diets, disruptive lifestyle, use of medical drugs, stimulants and alcohol, and ingestion of chemical poisons, such as food additives and artificial sweeteners. Bile duct congestion results in major impairment of digestive functions, thereby reducing the nutrient supply to the trillions of cells in the body. This makes gallstones in the liver to be a major cause of physical and emotional illness.
The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush
The liver flush mentioned in this context is a straightforward, safe and painless do-it-yourself procedure using apple juice (or malic acid), olive oil, citrus juice and Epsom salts to dispel gallstones from the liver and, of course, also from the gallbladder. The flush is best done on a weekend at home. Although the liver flush is very easy to do, it is important to understand the process and follow all of the directions precisely. Since introducing the liver cleanse to hundreds and thousands of patients in the 1990s, I have received countless testimonies expressing total amazement about the fast and profound healing effects it produces. They encouraged me to write a book on the subject. The book includes the exact procedure and necessary background information for conducting this simple, yet most profound cleanse. Today, the liver cleanse has helped restore the health of thousands of people in all parts of the world.
Gallstones in the Liver – The Most Common Cause of Illness
An estimated one billion of the world’s population will develop gallstones in their gallbladder at some stage in their lives. In the United States, 20 million adults suffer from gallstone attacks every year. In many cases, treatment merely consists of removing the gallbladder, at a cost of $5,000 per operation, with little or no regard to what causes gallstones. These statistics, however, do not account for the millions more who will develop gallstones in their liver or, or who already have them.
During my 30 years of practicing natural medicine around the world I have dealt with thousands of people suffering from all types of diseases. I can document that each one of them, without exception, has had considerable quantities of gallstones in their liver. Surprisingly, only relatively few chronically ill patients report having a history of gallstones in their gallbladder. However, as can be easily verified, every person suffering from heart disease, arthritis, MS, cancer or diabetes has hundreds if not thousands of gallstones blocking the bile ducts of their liver. The presence of gallstones in the liver is the main impediment to acquiring and maintaining good health, youthfulness and vitality. Gallstones are, in fact, one of the major reasons people become ill and have difficulty recuperating from illness.
Medicine’s Most Unfortunate Oversight
Most people believe that gallstones can be found only in the gallbladder. This is a common false assumption. Most gallstones are actually formed in the liver and comparatively few occur in the gallbladder. You can easily verify this assessment by giving yourself a liver cleanse. It matters little whether you are a layperson, a medical doctor, scientist, or someone who no longer has a gallbladder and, therefore, is believed to be free of gallstones altogether. The results of the liver cleanse speak for themselves. Once you see hundreds of green or beige-colored gallstones floating in the toilet bowl during your first liver flush, you will intuitively know that you are on to something very important in your life.
I am repeatedly asked the intriguing question – why is there only little or no reference in mainstream medicine to the occurrence of gallstones in the liver? The failure to recognize the incidence of gallstone formation in the liver may very well be the most unfortunate oversight that has ever been made in the field of medicine, both orthodox and complementary forms. Heavy reliance on blood tests for diagnostic purposes, as seen in most medical practices, may actually be a big disadvantage with regard to assessing liver health. Most people who have some sort of physical complaint usually have perfectly normal liver enzyme levels in the blood, despite suffering liver congestion. Liver bile duct congestion is one of the commonest health problems, yet conventional medicine makes little or no reference to them, nor does it have reliable methods to diagnose these conditions. Liver enzyme levels in the blood become elevated only when there is advanced liver cell destruction, as is the case in hepatitis or liver inflammation. Liver cells contain large amounts of enzymes. When ruptured, the enzymes enter the blood and signal liver abnormalities. By then, however, the damage has already occurred. It takes many years of liver bile duct congestion before such an event becomes possible.
Unless there is a specific liver disease, such as liver cirrhosis, this vital organ is rarely considered a ‘culprit’ for other diseases. The majority of gallstones in the liver and gallbladder consist of the same ‘harmless’ constituents as are contained in liquid bile, with cholesterol being the main ingredient. This makes most of them ‘invisible’ to X-ray and ultra-sound technologies. Therefore, standard clinical tests are not a reliable way to detect gallstones (hardened bile) in the liver.
On the other hand, a qualified iridologist, an Ayurvedic physician or a natural health practitioner who knows the signs and indications of gallstones in the liver and gallbladder, can quite easily determine the extent of gallstone formation in these organs. Most people in the civilized world have gallstones. But even in alternative or complementary medicine, there is rarely mention of an effective therapy that can actually remove gallstones safely and without pain. Even when all other disease-causing factors are eliminated, if gallstones are still present in the liver, they remain the hidden harbingers of future illness.
Reaping the Benefits
Those suffering from chronic illnesses usually have several thousand gallstones congesting the bile ducts of the liver. Some stones may have impacted the gallbladder as well. By removing these stones through a series of liver cleanses, and maintaining a reasonably balanced diet and lifestyle, the liver and gallbladder will be able to restore their natural efficiency, and most symptoms of discomfort or disease in the body will quickly begin to subside. Allergies will lessen or disappear, back, neck and shoulder pain will dissipate, and energy and wellness will improve dramatically. There is no part of the body that doesn’t benefit from liver cleansing.
Sweeping the liver clean eliminates thousands of bits of poisonous substances that have helped form the stones that block thousands of liver bile ducts. Cleansing the liver bile ducts from gallstones is one of the most important and powerful procedures to regain or improve your health and raise the body’s vibration. By reopening the bile ducts, the body’s energy circuit becomes restored and healing can take place on all levels of body, mind and spirit.

The Amazing Liver Gallbladder Flush (Patrick Timpone interviews Andreas Moritz)
Patrick Timpone: I had a book in my possession for the last two three years – “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALL BLADDER FLUSH“, very, very interesting book and got to kind of know Andreas Moritz through this book and contacted him and he is on the line right now. He is a nice gentleman. Integrative medicine man is his main tag. He is studied in Ayurveda, meditation, yoga, nutrition, iridology, shiatsu for over thirty years, he has had a great deal of success with terminal illnesses with his people he has written this book “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH“, “CANCER IS NOT A DISEASE” and “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION“. He developed ENER-CHI which is a system of healing using ionized stones, his website is ENER-CHI.com. if you like to learn, we get lots of calls, Andreas, about gallbladder flushes and liver flushes so this should be a great book, I assume it is still in print probably on Amazon maybe?
Andreas Moritz: Very much so, it is every where, it is in ten languages, it is all over the world, it is going into Chinese now and Japanese
Patrick Timpone: Wow! I really enjoyed your book because I have done plenty of these myself and you really laid it out in a very clean and efficient and neat way. Tell the folks why it is important to clean the liver and the gallbladder
Andreas Moritz: Well, the liver is really one of the most important organs in the body. It is a factory, it produces an enormous number of just some substances including cholesterol which is a stress hormone, and it is a healing hormone and it is an ingredient for most hormones in the body and also the half of the brain and even part of the heart and so the body has to make it, and uses it in order to manufacture bile, the bile is necessary to digest your food, if you do not make enough bile normally… your body has to produce a quart and a half of bile per day in order to successfully, properly breakdown the foods into nutrients which are then absorbed into the blood stream and nourish and nurture your self and the body. Now when you do not make enough bile then that poses a huge problem for the body because bile is also responsible for activating digestive enzymes from the pancreas and if you do not make enough bile you are not able to use those enzymes to digest your food well.
Patrick Timpone: And what activities decrease bile flow?
Andreas Moritz: Anything from anger, stress, from eating inappropriate foods that are not physiological, that means these are foods that were never meant to be grown by nature they are man made foods, artificially produced foods or artificially sustained foods that contain a lot of preservatives, then the can of beverages that we call drinks or beverages….
Patrick Timpone: Yeah
Andreas Moritz: …that people drink all the time, like soft drinks, produce a lot of stones
Patrick Timpone: Back to the liver… also then these foods that aren’t physiologically natural, they are the producers of the stones, and the stones block the pathway for the bile?
Andreas Moritz: Correct. It is a massive network of bile ducts in the liver. It is almost like a massive tree and it has branches and smaller branches and smaller branches and a big trunk the big trunk is the common bile duct that comes out of the liver and so the bilary tree, so to say, can get clogged up very easily by what John Hopkins University calls intra-hepatic gallstones and these stones they are very soft they are made of mostly of cholesterol, most of them look green, like peas, they have almost the shape of peas and they are soft to the touch, so they are putty like if you squeeze them when they come out, but these stones are very obstructive so they block the bile flow and that means they also block the exit for the liver to eliminate toxins and noxious substances, so if the liver is unable to remove the toxin form the blood stream because the bile ducts are blocked up, these toxins, they are backing up in the blood and then they enter the connective tissue, which is the soft tissue that makes up all the organs and system in the body, so when you do not eliminate those toxins properly they start accumulating there and they basically suffocate the environment of the cells and the cells can no longer get enough oxygen, you mentioned oxygen, it is vital for the functioning of the cells and the cells do not get enough oxygen they eventually have to mutate into a different style of functioning which we call cancer or malignance then that is a really an end stage of the body trying to safeguard itself…. protect itself.
Patrick Timpone: So then the liver has an amazing job it is I guess it is correct to say it is the largest organ in the body other than the skin…
Andreas Moritz: Physically it is the most dense and it is a soft organ it is mostly filled with blood and so in fact the liver itself is liver cells are completely surrounded by blood, particularly when you sleep
Patrick Timpone: And I can… we say then with the onslaught of different chemicals in the air, in the food, in the water, plastics and whatever that the liver in the 21st century must really be on its on top of its game, so to speak…
Andreas Moritz: Absolutely
Patrick Timpone: So then these stones would be very, very detrimental to our health…
Andreas Moritz: To, I mean, to the cells functioning… that means, we have sixty to eight trillion cells in our body and all of them totally depend on how the liver functions.
Patrick Timpone: Wow!
Andreas Moritz: And there is not a single function in the body that does not depend on the liver, that is why you can develop a huge number of illnesses from digestive disorders to simple appetite problems, ulcers in the stomach, nauseas feeling, vomiting, depression, impotence, hernia, flatulence, difficulty in breathing because if the liver bile ducts get congested the liver becomes large and presses against the diaphragm and you cannot get any deep breaths in any more, and once you have diminished oxygenation of the cells because of that, then that again makes you more prone to develop cancer and other illnesses, people’s infections that people have, it is again related to their liver, high cholesterol obviously, because the liver makes cholesterol and the blood vessel walls in the liver are getting congested because of bile duct blockage, then your body can no longer retrieve enough cholesterol, the liver can no longer retrieve enough cholesterol form the blood stream, and it starts building up in the blood stream and then people have high cholesterol. Heart disease is very much related to the liver, most brain disorders, pancreatitis is definitely related to the liver, anything that is related to circulation and that includes virtually every part of the body, Alzheimer’s disease, cancers, kidney diseases, chronic fatigue syndrome, osteoporosis, knee problems, shoulder problems, joint problems, gout…
Patrick Timpone: It is amazing, that is amazing!
Andreas Moritz: Literally not a single disease that is not directly related to bile duct congestion…
Patrick Timpone: That is amazing, and if you have just joined us, Andreas Moritz, sorry to interrupt you, Sir, but we have come to a break. If you just joined us, Andreas Moritz said that the way these stones get formed in the bile ducts is from inappropriate food, essentially the standard American diet we are sorry to say, in most cases, and is it any wonder that there is so much illness in our country if what he said is correct and there are many, many books and experts and people in the filed all over the world who concur with Mr. Moritz and Sir, if you hang in there we are going to break for the news my name is Patrick Timpone and back in a flash…
…Andreas Moritz, we are going to take the calls in a second but you have laid out a very interesting paradigm – how important it is to keep the liver and gallbladder clean because of the inappropriate foods that many of us eat and the culture eats and the preservatives, chemicals I would assume… does that also include many of the grains and starches that are over-consumed in your opinion?
Andreas Moritz: Certainly, many of the refined foods, they are no longer usable by the body so the body has to just find ways to discard them and in discarding them that means decomposing them or fermenting them or putrefying them, those kinds of food that are not useful for the body and therefore remain undigested. When the body is decomposing it, it engages bacteria to do the job, the dirty job, for them, and so the toxin and poisons that are generated as part of any fermentation process will be absorbed into the lymphatic vessels they are know as the cisterna chyli vessels around the belly button area, right in the middle part of the abdomen, and these vessels they become swollen, they become endemic as they try to accommodate and surround those poisons with fluid… with lymphatic fluid… and so that part of the body starts to extend to becomes enlarged and that is the typical belly tummy that people complain about when they first start putting on weight and gradually the lymphatic congestion progresses to other parts of the body – the thoracic duct that runs right form the belly button area all the way up to the throat and that is where it joins it bends to the left and joins the blood stream, so when the body is unable to remove or gets exposed to so many foods that are fermented or putrefied like cadaver-type foods, animal flesh foods, then the body will have to succumb to these poisons somewhere down the line and wherever these poisons accumulate more than in another places, and the lymphatic congestion progresses to the point the body cannot even get rid of its metabolic waste products like lactic acid, uric acid, urea, ammonia, it is like urine trapped in the surrounding in the environment of the cells then that acidic material will start to cause destruction of the cells. And so wherever that happens, first you will have a symptom you go to the doctor he says well you suffer from this illness and he gives you, basically puts on line for receiving drugs or something else that will suppress those very same symptoms which is nothing but a survival mechanism in the body.
Patrick Timpone: Yes
Andreas Moritz: It is a healing response, the body is desperately trying to go back to balance and so the disease, what we call disease, is the way for the body to do that; inflammation for example is a healing response… we call it an illness.
Patrick Timpone: His name is Andreas Moritz, he is in integrative medicine, ayurveda, meditation, yoga, nutrition, iridology, shiatsu, he has been at this for over thirty years, he has travelled around the country, the world, and actually he has talked with the heads of states around the world, written several book including “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” and your website is it ENER-CHI.com
Andreas Moritz: That is correct
Patrick Timpone: ENER-CHI, and some asked to call, your name is MORITZ
Andreas Moritz: Yes
Patrick Timpone: Andreas Moritz. So there is a way and your book goes into great detail, we will not go through it now because we are going to take a caller or two… you can flush your liver and gall bladder and get rid of these stones and do this very safely people do this quite often…
Andreas Moritz: Oh yes
Patrick Timpone: And do talk a little bit about it throughout the evening between now and eight o’clock on how you do it and what the basic idea is and then someone could get more information. Lets so ahead and talk to Rocco who has been holding. Hi Rocco you are on KLBJ
Rocco: Hello Patrick, how are you doing by you
Patrick Timpone: Oh good, I am good, how is it by you?
Rocco: I am doing alright I was wondering if your guest has any knowledge he can pass along about the rejuvenation of the pancreas or how that is related to diabetes, I have been diagnosed with diabetes and I am wondering if you can put it as a disease and if he knows anything about this…
Patrick Timpone: Oh Rocco, could you hold on one sec?
Rocco: Sure
Patrick Timpone: You want to try him on that other thing, Chris? Why do not you try it on that? Ok, Rocco, are you there?
Rocco: Yeah okay this is better can you hear him, Andreas, now?
Andreas Moritz: Yeah
Patrick Timpone: Okay go ahead, and so you are looking for some way to rejuvenate the cells of the pancreas, you got diabetes for a while?
Rocco: Yeah
Andreas Moritz: Are you having type 1 or type 2?
Rocco: Type 2. I was diagnosed about three years ago and I was able to control it with diet and exercise for a couple for years, but now they have me on a drug called Metformin and I am talking about a thousand milligrams of that a day and of course I’d rather not and I was wondering if you had any insight?
Andreas Moritz: Okay, the pancreas very much depends on the liver again because when your liver is producing bile, and it is basically passed into the gallbladder and whenever you eat a meal that requires bile for secretion and fat is the trigger for bile to digest carbohydrates, your body has to have fat in order to digest those carbohydrates and if you have protein in your diet, your body has to have fat in order to digest the protein, so in order to digest the fat, your body has to have bile secretion, now when you do not make enough bile anymore, and there is not enough bile to… sufficient enough bile, to activate digestive enzymes that come out of your pancreas then may of these unactivated digestive enzymes will remain or go back, backwash into the into the pancreas through the pancreatic duct, and when that happens your cells become inflamed, the cells of the pancreas become inflamed and become what they are called pancreatitis in fact they start getting destroyed; you can destroy the cells of the pancreas that are responsible for producing insulin. So the liver plays a huge role in this respect. The other problem that usually arises with diabetes is that people over the years, they eat far too much protein, to process a steak for example, a medium steak, your body has to come up with the amount of insulin that is required for about half a pound of white sugar to completely remove all the proteins and to process the proteins in the body and so that can cause insulin resistance eventually, because too much insulin is causing cancer in the body, so the body will try to reduce the insulin production in some way or another and as your insulin production is curbed, then obviously your sugar will rise in the blood stream and you have diabetes.
Patrick Timpone: Andreas, do you think that everybody is so unique, and we have to end this and get into a break, but Andreas everybody is so unique the blood type and metabolic type and body type and diet type and what we think and believe, but do you think we work as a species in general made to eat any kind of flesh from the animals that swim and fly and two-legged and four-legged.
Andreas Moritz: Very difficult, you can only on average digest about one fifth of the amount of the meat that a carnivorous animal like a cat could digest simply because we have only very, very small and very low concentrated hydrochloric acid in our stomach. So if you eat a steak you can only digest up to ten, fifteen, twenty percent of it, what do you do with the rest of it? Now that has to be putrefied, that has to be decomposed, and when you do that, when you decompose flesh food, you produce amines and amines are carcinogens and cadaverine and some putrescine which are the small severe poisons that a human body can process and that is a source of so many illnesses and diabetes is definitely one of them,
Patrick Timpone: Interesting. All right, it is forty nine after the hour, his name is Andreas Moritz and my name is Patrick Timpone and we are having a good conversation, hope you enjoying it we will be here till eight o’clock, he has written these books “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALL BLADDER FLUSH“, “CANCER IS NOT A DISEASE” and “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION“……….. We are with Andreas Moritz he is an Integrative medicine man, Ayurvedic medication really, he has been doing some great work for thirty years, right after the news at seven o’clock we are going to dive in to just give you the basic structure of how to do a liver and gallbladder flush because I know he has probably fascinated you in the last 45 minutes with the importance of this in 21st century and how critical it is that the liver is functioning at a 100 percent and how much of a challenge that is in the environment we live in, but there are always ways, there is always a way to take care of ourselves as we say on this show, there is always a way. Andreas, you say that cancer is not a disease. We only have a couple minutes here before the top of the break because we ran a long last segment. What is your opinion or what are the major causes of all these different cancers we see?
Andreas Moritz: Oh there are so many, there are causes such as lack of sunlight exposure, we now know that sixty seven percent of all cancers can be reversed according to the latest studies, simply by exposing a person to sunlight now you would not have such a high significant…
Patrick Timpone: Wow
Andreas Moritz: …growth if you had any number of chemotherapy radiation or surgery treatment.
Patrick Timpone: Now repeat that, repeat what you just said about sixty seven percent of cancer could actually be reversed by what?
Andreas Moritz: Sunlight.
Patrick Timpone: That is amazing !
Andreas Moritz: Sunlight induces the triggers, the release, of vitamin D, Vitamin D is actually not a vitamin, it is a hormone that the body is producing and if you make very little, if you have very little exposure to sunlight, you make so little vitamin D that your immune system is so depleted and weak that it cannot defend itself or balance itself. The body is not able to remove toxins waste products, carcinogens, harmful substances from that, otherwise it can trigger cancer.
Patrick Timpone: My goodness, so you mean, it would lead to that, with the life style that so many of us lead, getting up and going to work climbing in the car, doing eight hours, coming home…
Andreas Moritz: That is protected against
Patrick Timpone: yeah
Andreas Moritz: ..the sun. there is no plant that grows without proper sunlight. The body does not grow, every person has to grow. You turn over thirty billion cells per day that means you have to grow thirty billion new cells, now if you do not get the adequate amount of sunlight and sun exposure and trigger the release of enough of the vitamin D in your body, then your body cannot grow. Vitamin D is responsible for bone growth, for bone health, people’s osteoporosis, they need to be out in the sun otherwise there is no way they get stronger.
Patrick Timpone: That is amazing. Alright we are going to take a break here …………… okay we are going to flush out our liver and gall bladder, now this great stuff this is … that is amazing really, man, we get to do whatever we want, this is really, really good great stuff “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” is just one of the books that our guest Andreas Moritz has written. It is thirty five years at this game, or over thirty years, also has another book called “CANCER IS NOT A DISEASE” and “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION” Andreas Moritz, his website is ENER-CHI.com and this interview, because we will also be available on oneradionetwork.com as a podcast very soon, and then we will launch our subscription site or premium site which is going to have over hundred a twenty five interviews and we are in the process of getting all those ready so we have a lot of work to do. Andreas Moritz, for those of you who just joined us, Andreas painted a very, very interesting picture the first hour about how critically important this large organ, the liver, is to virtually every disease and every means of staying healthy in this world. It is just huge and he told us how by eating physiological foods that are just not natural and good for us, the chemicals and preservative and too much meat and the hydrochloric acid and all kinds of standard American diet kinds of foods and fried foods and processed foods and packaged foods and boxed foods that so much of America eats that causes the stones in the, actually, bile ducts of the liver and then the bile cannot flow, and then it just goes downhill from there, it is all keyed in with digestion. So over the years you developed, Andreas Moritz, a different program and there are lots of programs one can get on the internet and we have had people on the show like Annie Jubb who we interviewed last night on one radio network show at seven o’clock and is the basic idea with yours as similar to many where one takes a generous amount of olive oil to get these stones out?
Andreas Moritz: Yes, that is correct, there has to be a good amount of preparation before you start off.
Patrick Timpone: Is it, what kind of things do we have to do before we dive in, so to speak?
Andreas Moritz: Yeah you want to prepare soundly as possible, for example in my system it was to drink some malic acid to loosen, or apple juice, a fair amount of apple juice for about six days, that means you drink about a liter, that is more than a quart of that juice throughout the day to soften up the stones. Use malic acid from apple juice or apple cider vinegar or cranberry juice or the malic acid itself to soften up the stones so that you get the maximum amounts possible, or to liquefy them, make them so soft and so mushy, that they come out very easily in a large quantity and when you do the actual flush you prepare by using some Epsom salts to keep the bile duct relaxed so that when the stones come out they just will literally, just moving down the pipe, and without any problem. I personally had forty gallstone attacks before I did my first liver flush and I never had a gallstone attack after my first liver flush.
Patrick Timpone: And you had a great success with getting many stones out?
Andreas Moritz: I passed about three and a half thousand stones.
Patrick Timpone: Three and a half thousand stones!
Andreas Moritz: Yes. I had first stones when I was six years old.
Patrick Timpone: My god!
Andreas Moritz: And I used to faint, I had tremendous amount of pain in my body, especially right shoulder problems, neck problems, joint problems, arthritic conditions…
Patrick Timpone: Yeah
Andreas Moritz: And they all vanished completely, once my liver was completely clean, and the secret here is that you do not want to just do one flush or two or three, you want to flush until all the stones are gone…
Patrick Timpone: How often? You do that?
Andreas Moritz: yes
Patrick Timpone: How often you do the flush?
Andreas Moritz: Until all the stones gone.
Patrick Timpone: I mean like you do it once a week or once a month?
Andreas Moritz: You can do it once a month comfortably and it is done over a weekend, you take let’s say, on a Saturday you do the actual flush which starts at around six o’clock in the afternoon, in the evening, when you drink some Epsom salts and at eight o clock you drink some more Epsom salts and then at ten o’clock you take the oil mixture which would be olive oil and some lemon juice or orange juice or grape fruit juice and once you have drank that lie down immediately, and already that will be enough to trigger the gall bladder and squeeze out a lot of bile, so all the bile is starting to come out of the liver and the gall bladder at that time and brings along with it the stones that were trapped in the common bile duct and in the gall bladder.
Patrick Timpone: And then on an average, just a general idea, I am sure it depends on the individual, but how many stones come out at one flush?
Andreas Moritz: In my case usually there were between three hundred to five hundred stones there were some individuals that passed thousand stones in one sitting but mostly people pass between one-two hundred to five hundred stones.
Patrick Timpone: And how big are these stones?
Andreas Moritz: They can be anything from pinheads to pea size and chickpea size and almond size and even larger. My wife passed a calcified stone from the gall bladder, believe it or not that was two and a half inches!
Patrick Timpone: Two and a half inches!
Andreas Moritz: That was an enormous thing…
Patrick Timpone: So some of them are very, very old, so they get hard.
Andreas Moritz: Well, these are the ones that are found only in the gallbladder and these are the ones that when you go to an ultra sound…
Patrick Timpone: yes…
Andreas Moritz: …get an ultra sound done, you can see them, you cannot see the other ones… you cannot see the green ones, the intra-hepatic gallstones that John Hopkins University has a diagram on their website, you cannot see them because they are made of bile and bile is invisible to ultra sound.
Patrick Timpone: I see, so some of these stones are calcified so the doctors, the traditional conventional medicine people can see them.
Andreas Moritz: Right
Patrick Timpone: But there other ones are actually
Andreas Moritz: …invisible
Patrick Timpone: they are bile, but they are still problematic because they are blocking the…
Andreas Moritz: …hard bile, they are hardened bile…
Patrick Timpone: …hardened bile
Andreas Moritz: They are clots of bile, it is like blood clots, so it is like blood, you know that it is liquid normally but if it becomes hard it is a clot and you know what blood clots can do, they can cause strokes and heart attacks and they can do something similar to the liver they can congest the liver so much that the liver becomes actually fatty, it can no longer get rid of the cholesterol that it uses to make bile, which in the bile gets stuck, and it is building up and it is starting to penetrate the tissues of the liver and the liver becomes fatty and the liver eventually can go down to thirty six percent of its capacity where…
Patrick Timpone: My goodness!
Andreas Moritz: …you still do not find anything wrong with the liver, all the blood tests will give you a clean bill of health, and you are basically one percent down that is eighty five percent capacity your liver is dead.
Patrick Timpone: So is there a difference between flushing the liver and the gallbladder or is this all done in the same time?
Andreas Moritz: In the same time
Patrick Timpone: And they both have bile ducts they are stones or just the gall bladder ?
Andreas Moritz: The gallbladder has stones, just the same kinds of the stones as the liver, but it can also have the calcified gallstones which only appear in the gallbladder and never in the liver.
Patrick Timpone: I see. Oh, that is true, yeah, so that is pretty exciting. Is it uncomfortable, I am asking questions like I have never done it, folks, but I have done a lot of these, but I know these are the question you are asking, is it uncomfortable?
Andreas Moritz: No, absolutely not, you do not feel it until you pass the stones that literally end up in the toilet bowl. All you pass is water and stones the way the cleanse is designed, so you will literally see them floating in the toilet because these stones – the green ones or beige or whitish stones – they are the cholesterol stones they are made of cholesterol mostly and therefore they float, they are lighter than water so you can literally fish them out and you count them but it is very fascinating when people send me their pictures…
Patrick Timpone: I bet they do too
Andreas Moritz: Yeah
Patrick Timpone: I bet they do, I know my friend David Wolf this raw foodist, you tell me one day, you know, people send me pictures of the weirdest things that come out of their bodies when they start eating raw food and he said I do not know what they think I want these pictures for, but it is so funny when he says that people send him pictures of all the stuff
Andreas Moritz: I have pictures form all over the world
Patrick Timpone: I bet you do
Andreas Moritz: From Russia from china from India from everywhere
Patrick Timpone: isn’t that funny!
Andreas Moritz: they let the same stones everywhere
Patrick Timpone: same stones
Andreas Moritz: yeah
Patrick Timpone: let me ask you before the break because I am still fascinated about the sunlight, what you said about the sunlight is just amazing to me, that a huge percentage of cancers can actually be cured because of just getting under the sun and getting the vitamin D
Andreas Moritz: literally yeah
Patrick Timpone: my goodness!
Andreas Moritz: It is not just cancer as Johns Hopkins University the other day, they said if you are using sunlight you can prevent so many other illnesses. We now know that heart disease is reversible simply by exposing yourself to regular sunshine.
Patrick Timpone: well is there a lot less cancer in these kinds of things like in California and Florida where people get out more?
Andreas Moritz: no, people have less cancer the closer they are to the equator. There are studies out, American studies and Norwegian studies to actually show that if you have cancer, any kind of cancer, and if you are living in the northern part you are recovering much more slowly, and you have a higher incidence of cancer, you have the lowest incidence of cancer and multiple sclerosis and heart disease closer to the equator because people are exposed to more sunlight and you have the lowest skin cancer rate close to the equator, you have hardly any skin cancer in high altitudes where ultra radiation is the…
Patrick Timpone: that is fascinating!
Andreas Moritz: strongest. The people that have the most skin cancers are the people who do not get exposed to the sun, that live indoors, that use artificial lighting could be to work with, or indoor during the day even.
Patrick Timpone: That is fascinating. All right, we need to break here Andreas. Andreas Moritz. You can tell he has done a lot of research and really been at this a long time I think you will enjoy this book. If you’d like to give this a go, I certainly recommend getting the book first before you really read through it and get a good understanding, one of his books ”THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALL BLADDER FLUSH” Andreas Moritz, German, his website ENER-CHI.com. My name is Patrick Timpone.………….. with Andreas Moritz some cool stuff “CANCER IS NOT A DISEASE” is one book “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION” and ”THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” Andreas, let me ask you another question about allergies. There are so many allergies to gluten, to this to that, so many different allergies, such a test you can take with blood and all that, why do we become allergic to some foods?
Andreas Moritz: Basically certain kinds of foods, they are again as I mentioned before, they are not really physiological so if there are ingredients in these kinds of foods that are added – like MSG or aspartame or artificial sweeteners or some preservative – then the body will react to those and so the immune system has a reaction to try to get rid of that which can eventually produce antibodies and then those kinds of foods, the whole food that the entire food, will be rejected and this way a lot of people are intolerant to those, many are also over exposed to chemicals they are not just part of the food but the pesticides in food…
Patrick Timpone: right
Andreas Moritz: …that are also airborne substances and emotional factors which should never be underestimated
Patrick Timpone: sure
Andreas Moritz: Many, many people that were eating, let’s say, certain things at the dinner table when they grow up and the parents were fighting over certain things and every time that person would then, later in life, would eat the same kind of food, he will have an allergic reaction basically through the memory of having eaten that food twenty years before
Patrick Timpone: sure
Andreas Moritz: and having been very unhappy during that time
Patrick Timpone: but now some of these tests that are out there, I do not know about their accuracy, but why would a person who is relatively healthy for example come back and say “well you should be allergic to almonds or oranges or broccoli or milk.” How that can be?
Andreas Moritz: well, again if generally food is not digested well, the food, it becomes very toxic and then the immune system will be engaged and trying to get rid of that undigested food
Patrick Timpone: these antibodies that it produces
Andreas Moritz: the body will react, if you have already developed problems with the bile duct of your liver then you will not be able to digest your food properly when the immune system will react to the…
Patrick Timpone: I see, so it is a digestion issue here for all these?
Andreas Moritz: yeah
Patrick Timpone: pretty much
Andreas Moritz: ninety percent of the cases it is all purely digestive
Patrick Timpone: with allergic
Andreas Moritz: right yes
Patrick Timpone: allergic things
Andreas Moritz: and then the there are many, many other reasons why you can produce stones, these are simply you do not sleep well during the night time, the next day, you are not able to digest your food properly because your liver works between ten and two more than at any other time of the night and if you do not sleep during those four hours your liver will not be able to make bile to digest your food the next day
Patrick Timpone: very interesting
Andreas Moritz: so then you eat a big meal, most of it would remain undigested and your body has to react trying to get rid of the undigested food and when the body is constantly engaged in having to do that, then you will become intolerant to those kinds of foods and eventually develop severe allergies
Patrick Timpone: that is very fascinating. So folks, lot of the kids who take these allergy tests and they take a lot of prick tests and they stay off the foods and they go though this whole rigmarole but so you’re suggesting that if one can clean out their liver and the gallbladder, but why would a young child of fifteen or something, could they already be producing that?
Andreas Moritz: absolutely!
Patrick Timpone: really?
Andreas Moritz: yes
Patrick Timpone: really?
Andreas Moritz: actually a five year old Chinese girl and her seven year old sister do liver flushes and they passed a lot of stones
Patrick Timpone: at five years old?!
Andreas Moritz: They had so many allergies,
Patrick Timpone: my god
Andreas Moritz: asthma, and after they cleared the stones the asthma and the allergies completely disappeared. You can see in my own case, I had stones when I was six years old. And my mother had hepatitis three times before I was even born and so my liver was not very strong to begin with. The kinds of foods that people eat and they think they are healthy, just give a kid milk, cow’s milk to drink, it will produce a lot of stones…
Patrick Timpone: yes
Andreas Moritz: …in the liver and it is now known to cause diabetes. So if it can cause diabetes what else can it do?
Patrick Timpone: very fascinating. Okay we are going to break. Good stuff, Andreas, I am really pleased that you are here, Andreas Moritz. And my name is Patrick Timpone. We are having an amazing conversation with Andreas Moritz about his book and other books “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” if you just joined us, you want to make sure you get on the oneradionetwork.com and when we will launch our premium website you are going to be able to get podcasts of a hundreds different interviews and this will be one of them and this is worth ten months of subscription just to learn how to flush your gallbladder and Andreas, thank you for all your help tonight. I went to your website and we will put a link on our site, you got a great site and you do consultations over the phone…
Andreas Moritz: yes correct
Patrick Timpone: and you have some all your books on the website, you have a lot of books here
Andreas Moritz: oh absolutely and sleep, I mentioned sleep. One of the most powerful things recent research showed that nurses have a fifty times, fifty times, higher cancer rate because they are not getting enough sleep and they are not producing enough melatonin. When melatonin gets secreted around nine thirty and it peaks at midnight one o’clock and if you do not sleep during that time then you will become melatonin deficient and melatonin deficiency is now related with high risk of developing cancer, because melatonin controls a gene that controls the life cycles of cells so it tells the cells when to die and not to continue living and going on and on and on and on, which would mean they would develop into cancer cells, so the sleep is so important that just the other day again John Hopkins University came out with a piece of news proving that if you are not sleeping enough hours and that a typical American only sleeps only six to seven hours, so there is, actually five to seven hours and they were found to have a forty five percent higher heart attack rate. If you do not get enough sleep and you have a higher risk of developing strokes at a rate of sixty seven percent higher risk of developing a stroke because you are not sleeping enough. Now these are huge figures. Hypertension, for example, again in the body sudden change simply because you do not get enough sleep, if you added the sleep you would have a much less cancer risk, we know that much less heart disease much less diabetes we now know that diabetes, we know diabetes is very much related to sleep deprivation, not getting enough sleep, so it is virtually every kind of disease…
Patrick Timpone: what are some of your top reasons what causes sleeplessness in some?
Andreas Moritz: well it is not the sleeplessness, it is just people
Patrick Timpone: they are just going to bed late and waking up early.
Andreas Moritz: they go to bed every day at midnight they are missing out on the two hours before midnight sleep which is the most important time of the night, it is now known according to many research studies that it makes the immune system very weak. So gradually you become defenseless against the pathogens, the disease-causing germs.
Patrick Timpone: so getting into bed at ten is important
Andreas Moritz: oh it is absolutely vital and it used to keep people healthy, a hundred years ago only ten percent of the people had chronic illness. Today it is ninety percent of the people have chronic illness.
Patrick Timpone: ninety percent ?
Andreas Moritz: ninety percent.
Patrick Timpone: my god!
Andreas Moritz: so people develop chronic illness because they no longer live in harmony with the natural cycles, they have like chronic jet lag, it is as if they are travelling to Europe or to another country every single day and never recover from jet lag and that is basically out of touch with the circadian rhythm which controls plants, which controls animals, and it controls humans, and this, we are defying that as we live against the cycles of nature, then we obviously eventually get tired, we get fatigued, we get over fatigued, we go into a stress hormone response that after a while we can no longer relax, if you produce constantly adrenaline and noradrenaline and cholesterol and other stress hormones, your body will no longer be able to relax and be stress-free, it will constantly be agitated and nervous and anxious and that itself is not conducive to healing whatsoever, in fact, you cannot heal if you are under stress.
Patrick Timpone: all right it is seven forty two with Andreas Moritz, his website is ENER-CHI.com, look for their link on our site. And let’s go to Doug in downtown Austin. Doug, you got a question about gallbladder ?
Doug: yes I was diagnosed with, through ultra sound, with two gallstones that are too large to pass. And I am wondering how that would be affected by the flush which sounds very interesting.
Andreas Moritz: well, a lot of people including myself, I had a lot of calcified stones, in fact my gallbladder was completely packed full. So…
Patrick Timpone: wow
Andreas Moritz: …it is a difficult situation because you need some bile to actually expel stones but miraculously I did. Having had so many involuntary gall stone attacks, these stones just started coming out on their own after eating some fat, any fatty food and they were triggered by that. Now in your situation if you have only two stones it is not a big problem if you do liver flushes eventually they will come out, sometimes people pass them right away with the first flush and others after six or seven flushes but eventually they do come out and they come out painlessly, there is… you do not notice… you see the calcified stones, they will sink to the bottom of the toilet so you will see them sort of sitting at the very bottom.
Patrick Timpone: Doug how is it that you know, Doug, that you had the stones?
Doug: well I had a tremendous number of instances, not recently, but I had seventy during the first three months of last year.
Patrick Timpone: seventy what?
Doug: gallstone attacks and then one was lasted several days so I went to the ER and they did an ultra sound and determined that these two are too large to go though the bile duct
Patrick Timpone: what did they want to do?
Doug: they were saying that the only thing that will work is surgery.
Patrick Timpone: surgery!
Andreas Moritz: that is not quite true that they can’t go though the bile duct, it is just under normal conditions they do not and they get stuck and they cause a gallstone attack, and that is what you and I have experienced many, many times. Now when you do a liver flush it is very different, what you do is actually you push an enormous amount of bile out of your liver and gallbladder, and bile is very oily and the oily bile is like, when you want to get rid of, push a, get a ring from your finger and it does not come off and you put some oil on it will start moving, and like that, if you have a lot of bile and the bile ducts are relaxed that means they are not contracting which happens of you have an involuntary release of gallstones, then they would basically make the bile duct very tight, and then the gallstone cannot got through, whereas during a liver flush it is exactly the opposite your bile ducts are extremely relaxed because of the Epsom salts that you take and also because of the triggering of a large amount of bile that just moves the stones along with the bile, and the bile is so oily there is nothing that can hold the stones somewhere in the common bile duct
Patrick Timpone: and you trigger the bile by taking about, what is it, five ounces or eight ounces of olive oil?
Andreas Moritz: four ounces
Patrick Timpone: four ounces?
Andreas Moritz: ….of olive oil and a citrus fruit both of them are triggers for the gallbladder
Patrick Timpone: do you recommend taking enzymes with the oil so you do not get nauseous?
Andreas Moritz: no
Patrick Timpone: no?
Andreas Moritz: during that you want to keep it as simple as possible so that you literally just release stones without interfering with…
Patrick Timpone: you take the oil on an empty stomach or full?
Andreas Moritz: oh if you take it on a full stomach you will get violently nauseous.
Patrick Timpone: okay
Andreas Moritz: you will throw up.
Patrick Timpone: that I why some people, they recommend doing the enemas before
Andreas Moritz: yes and also…
Patrick Timpone: fasting that day maybe?
Andreas Moritz: you eat, you can eat until lunch time and then you do not eat anything after two o’clock and that make sure that the stomach is empty when you take the oil mixture.
Patrick Timpone: and you take the oil mixture at what time?
Andreas Moritz: ten o ‘clock in the evening
Patrick Timpone: now do you do that because that is the liver gallbladder time in the Chinese medicine?
Andreas Moritz: that is when the liver starts working, that is when you have the maximum release of stones and that is why you do not want to do it later or too early.
Patrick Timpone: Doug let me ask you I am just interested, you are a regular listener to the show?
Doug: yes
Patrick Timpone: you are. Does this sound might sound kind of wild to you, huh? And kind of out there? Or not?
Doug: well no.
Patrick Timpone: no?
Doug: it sounds like something that I am interested in trying, it certainly sounds preferable to surgery.
Andreas Moritz: I had a ninety year old man, he, they wanted to take his gall bladder out and he said you are not going to get my gall bladder and so he did the liver flush and right with his first flush he passed out all his calcified stones.
Patrick Timpone: I’ll be darned!
Andreas Moritz: and the guy was so happy and he got to keep his gall bladder at that age.
Patrick Timpone: at ninety years old!
Andreas Moritz: yeah
Patrick Timpone: my goodness!
Doug: I would like to keep the gall bladder but lets get rid of the stones.
Patrick Timpone: yeah, yeah.
Andreas Moritz: you definitely want to keep the gall bladder. It is not necessary to get it cut out because once you have the gall bladder removed, you end up having a lot of problems , the risk of cancer goes up you become more like a, to, you are going to accumulate a lot more weight and there is only a trickle of bile, like drops of bile, constantly leaking out of your liver instead of being collected by the gall bladder and being controlled in the release in order to digest your food so you will always develop major digestive problems more so than you may have now.
Patrick Timpone: ok gentlemen, we need to break here so
Doug: thanks I will give it a try.
Patrick Timpone: thanks for the call. It is forty eight after seven o’clock forty eight after that…….Andreas Moritz. Lots of books. This one we talking about a lot and it is called “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” that you can get on Andreas’ website, his website ENER-CHI.com, it is a great website and he has got all those books and he is very, very prolific man. I do not know how he has time to flush his gall bladder with writing all these books but you know he does that. Andreas, thanks so much for being here tonight.
Andreas Moritz: Oh it is my pleasure.
Patrick Timpone: That is great good job. We hope you will come back again sometime
Andreas Moritz: Oh yes
Patrick Timpone: And you do phone consultation and people can contact you though your website?
Andreas Moritz: Right
Patrick Timpone: ENER-CHI.com. We will put a link up. Now we only have a couple of minutes left but in that time maybe a list for some of your favorite foods, some of the best foods that we can kind of eat just two or three or four of those and some of the worst foods, just for fun.
Andreas Moritz: Well the best foods are really they are of the vegetable origin. I eat a lot of, plenty of fresh, fresh vegetables, with some spices and some fats like olive oil or coconut oil or butter and some unrefined sea salt and eat them with some grain foods at lunch time and preceded by salad, yeah fresh salad with lettuce, cucumber, avocado, olive oil, lemon juice and salt and then some beans perhaps as well or some nuts and seeds, and so I love those kinds of foods and in the evening I have a vegetable soup with some toast with bread with butter on it, and that is all freshly done and in the morning I have some oatmeal, I never get bored with it
Patrick Timpone: Yeah, oatmeal, you got to have oatmeal.
Andreas Moritz: With rice milk or almond milk or Sens milk and some butter in it and some maple syrup or some agave syrup or salados sugar and it is delicious with some nuts in it. Mid morning I have some fruit and so I eat all those kinds of foods and it’s the typical Mediterranean types of foods. I have lived in Cyprus for fifteen years in the Mediterranean and I was amazed how healthy these people are in those villages eating exactly those types of food.
Patrick Timpone: So you do not indulge in any kind of flesh food at all?
Andreas Moritz: No, I stopped eating any kind of protein food since I was very ill and they gave me a year to live.
Patrick Timpone: And you get plenty of protein ?
Andreas Moritz: You do not need to eat protein in order to make protein why would nature not put protein in breast milk for the first sixteen months of a baby that triples its size in the first sixteen months? Why would nature only put 1.4 percent protein in it?
Patrick Timpone: Andreas, we have to go…
Andreas Moritz: Okay
Patrick Timpone: Thank you so much, sir.
Andreas Moritz: Most welcome
Patrick Timpone: Oh, it’s been a pleasure. Please have a good night, sir.
Andreas Moritz: You too
Patrick Timpone: Andreas Moritz. ENER-CHI.com Kenny Willmar is next, my name is Patrick Timpone. Take care.

Andreas speaks about the Liver flush with host Paul Nison
Paul Nison: Hello everybody its Paul Nison Raw life Health show, It is Monday time for our featured guest and this week’s feature guest is, you know, people keep saying my guests get better and better and no difference this week is one of my personal favourites and you will see why In a moment, but folks, by the way if you are watching this and you are not a paid member to the Raw life Health Show you going to get to see part one to this interview but if you want to see the full interview which you are going to want to see. You have to sign up as a member at the top of the screen or if you want to get us on you tube you, got to go to the RAWLIFEHEATHSHOW.COM to see it. But everybody take a guess what this is? and no, it is not a bottle, it is something in the bottle, you see that? there we go, that is something that came from out of my body. It is stones from my liver, my gallbladder, my liver I mean, amazing, I don’t how many of you out there have ever done gallbladder flush but boy o boy it is so needed in today’s world and todays guest is probably one of the most knowledgably teachers, teaching about the gallbladder and the liver and cleansing the body in general but his name is Andreas Moritz and he wrote this book here, this book is called “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” and it is one of the top ten books I have ever read in my life, top ten important books I have ever read in my life. I mean after doing the, I always knew the importance of doing the liver flush, and these stones, by the way, are not olive oil, these are stones! and after you see the interview with him you are going to believe that and see that and know that. But, I mean, after reading this book I want to make this cleansing a big part of my cleansing routine of cleansing the liver, why? because it is so important and so many people that clean their colon up but they will not clean the rest of their body out and this creates an issue because it is not just cleaning the colon or so many organs of the body and the colon is just the sign of that. So we have to clean all the organs of our body and the liver and the gallbladder is no different. So Andreas, he wrote another wonderful book on cancer. Boy you got to get that. I mean, I just got a new supply of both these books in stock, RAWLIFE.COM we have these books but, I mean, it is going to sell out, we are going to sell out of them, but I mean, you can get more but you want to contact him, he is going to give out his contact information as well and I will put it up below the screen as well when he comes on. But folks sit back and enjoy today’s video featured video be on Raw life health. Every Monday we have a featured video and if you have missed any of them from the past, you could just go back to the archives on RAWLIFEHEALTHSHOW.COM to see them. So enjoy today’s video everybody and have a great week. If you have any comments or any question which I know you will, just post them below the videos and until then have a great day and I will see you again soon.
Hi everybody it’s a Paul Nison from the Raw life health show here we are today with another great guest and as a special guest that I have been wanting to get in a while here so, why don’t you introduce yourself and tell everyone who you are.
Andreas Moritz: My name is Andreas Moritz and I was born and raised in Germany and there I left when I was 18 years old, now 57 and I have travelled and lived in many many parts of the world and in the last 14 years in the united states and what I have done in all those 38 years of practicing natural forms of medicines is to identify the root causes of illness rather than being satisfy with merely suppressing the symptom of the illness which did not work out for myself because I suffered from terminal illness when I was a child and rheumatoid arthritis, heart arrhythmia, a very dangerous form, and I collapsed every couple of weeks, I literally fainted and recovered after a couple of minutes but the problems that I personally endured and went through, they were so severe that I was incapable of sustaining myself, food would not digest and it created huge amount of toxins in my system that eventually my liver started failing and my kidneys did not work. I swelled up terribly, that my body was so congested that there was hardly anything that worked. So I began to look at different forms and different variations of diet and discovered that by making shifts in my diet, different things changed in my body and happened in my body and eventually I became vegan vegetarian and within six weeks my arrhythmia disappeared and I had no more rheumatoid arthritis which was the juvenile form, my anaemia disappeared surprisingly because my doctor said I suffered from low B12 and iron deficiency. And so, all of that disappeared and so I realised that there is something they said about how diet influences the human physiology and in those days that was pretty unheard of, I am talking about forty years ago.
Paul Nison: Sure and currently now, how is your diet now? Are you still vegan vegetarian right now?
Andreas Moritz: Yes I am still and my body does not seem to change very much. I have more energy than I had when I was a kid and yes, I do not appear. if you look at my body you would not think that much has change in the last twenty five years except some change of hair colour.
Paul Nison: Now, in your diet, how much of is your diet consists of raw foods?
Andreas Moritz: I would say I do not overly eat raw foods by the way. I use I eat a very-very substantial salad that has greens in it and some cucumber and avocado and some seeds like pumpkin seeds and then I do eat some fruits lets say mid-morning or mid-afternoon that is about the raw part and I do eat cooked vegetables but I use a waterless cookware which keeps the enzymes and the vitamins intact so it does not destroy the food that just like normal cooking would.
Paul Nison: Well, now do you do take supplements since you are on a vegan diet or do you find that not necessary.
Andreas Moritz: No I do not take any supplements. I have never done that. I always tried to maximise the absorption of the food that I was eating and I discovered by optimising my digestive system. I did that through my own liver flushes that I developed a system that would get rid of a lot of intra hepatic gall stones from the liver bile ducts and by increasing my bile secretion I discovered that whatever I ate I optimised the nutrient absorption from that food and that was certainly enough to supply my cells with the desired and needed nutrients. So I never took recourse to supplementation.
Paul Nison: So there is many different aspects of being successful at this. There is, you got to get the food that has the nutrients but then, your body has to be prepared to actually absorb those nutrients.
Andreas Moritz: Correct and with supplementation, over the years I found that many – many people they are not their digestive system is not capable of handling these supplements because supplements are always harder and more difficult to digest than food that contains more life force and more fluids and liquid than the sort of extracts taken from these foods.
Paul Nison: And one of the things you focus on is the cleansing and healing of the bodies organs specifically the liver and the gall bladder. You wrote a wonderful book about this. Now there are many different types of liver and gall bladder flushes on the internet these days. Is your just more efficient or can some actually be dangerous?
Andreas Moritz: Oh they can be dangerous if you do not get the complete information about the liver flushes for example, there is some on the internet that simply take an oil and then use some cokes or strawberry with cream and things like that and they can create a massive release of bile form the gall bladder but without proper preparation what can happen is that the stones will not relaxing the bile ducts because there is something that is needed that you need to do the bile ducts so that the bile ducts do not get crampy that means that they are not contracting when a stone is passing through them so the bile ducts must be very relaxed like completely relaxed, letting any stones that come through them that they do not get struck there otherwise you can develop a gall stone attack. And I know how gall stone attack can feel like because I had forty of them before I did my first liver and gall bladder flush. So I had a lot of stones, my entire gall bladder was packed full with stones and most of them were calcified. So often times I had a stone simply by lifting something heavy or eating a more fatty meal if I had some little too much butter or olive oil or something then I used to have a gall stone attack and so stones would get stuck in the common bile duct and sometimes the stone was stuck there for up to three to four weeks so, I could not sleep at night, I could not find the right position to sleep and it was excruciatingly painful particularly during night time and so it is very exhausting and so, literally I discovered a way how to prevent that from happening and there are also ways that people have lets say eat a fatty meal and they have a gall stone attack, instead of going to the emergency room there are ways to stop that right away by drinking a glass of Epsom salts and doing some other things like drinking red beet juice and massaging the toes of the feet very vigorously, perhaps putting an application of warm apple cider vinegar on over the liver area and that relaxes the entire liver area so stones can pass. I have helped literally thousands and thousands of people with that simple information that they had a gall stone attack and they stopped it right away with these simple things I described.
Paul Nison: Now somebody follows these important instructions in your book , should they do the, is it different for everyone or should somebody do as maintenance just on a regular basis and if so for how often?
Andreas Moritz: Basically you want to get rid of all the stones that you have because if are just thinking, wow, now I got like five hundred stones out of my liver I do not have to do it again, then maybe another three or four thousands are in there and what happens is that when you do a liver flush, stones from the rear parts of the liver, they travel forward to the exiting bile ducts and there are two major bile ducts that are right in the exit before they combine into the common bile duct and it is going to the hepatic bile duct and when, before this happens, always see that a lot of stones sit there and if you are not taking them out once again and again and again so through a series of liver flushes, then these bile ducts get clogged up again and you have the same problem as before. So typically a person who does a liver flush finds that many of there symptoms become relieved. I have people that having incredible gastro intestinal issues and bloating and so they, they felt like a totally like a new person after the first liver flush but it did not last longer than three four days and then they had to, they realized that they had to repeat it and repeat it and repeat it until no more stones were coming out and that is how you can get rid of things permanently rather than just temporarily.
Paul Nison: So how often would you recommend somebody do it? Every week, every month or?
Andreas Moritz: I personally recommend to do it not more often than every three weeks , three to four weeks is ideal. It can be done every two weeks, I personally did mine every two weeks but it can be pretty rough because the liver needs some time to repair itself because when we have stones in the bile ducts of the liver, there is a lot of pressure exerted to the surrounding liver cells and the so called liver globules, these are units that have very-very delicate structures to them and if there is a presence of a large number of stones it causes these globules to become damaged and the liver cells become damaged to a point that you can find elevated ALS and AST levels , these are liver enzyme levels, where liver cells break up and liver enzymes that are inside these cells get into the blood stream and they show up on the liver blood test. So it I important to not overdo it, not do think well, let me just do one every week or so, because that can be very stressful to the liver.
Paul Nison: So you are suggesting, correct me if I am wrong, once a month would be a reasonable,
Andreas Moritz: Yes, every four weeks is very safe and very-very good to keep the momentum so that the new stones from the rear of the livers travelling forward into the exiting bile ducts do not get solidified and so impact these exiting bile ducts again.
Paul Nison: Now would that be for the rest of somebody’s life or just for a certain time?
Andreas Moritz: Typically it depends on the person, what kind of issues a person has? A person with rheumatoid arthritis, for example, needs a lot more cleanses than six or eight to be clean. I personally for me it was ten cleanses that got rid of three and a half thousand stones and I was clean and I have been clean ever since and I did my liver flushes fifteen years ago. I do a maintenance liver flush once a year now. Because my diet and lifestyle is such that I do not produce any new stones, but it is still good to clear out any toxins that might be there in the liver which is taken care of by yearly or bi-yearly liver flush.
Paul Nison: How will somebody actually know when they have done enough for them? Is it when they have done several and then they have expelled a lot of stones and then the more they do it, the less they have until they have none?
Andreas Moritz: Exactly and it is good to , if you know more stones are coming out do another one or two liver flushes to make absolutely sure that there are no more stones left and so that is how a person will know.
Paul Nison: And then you said about once a year for maintenance just to check?
Andreas Moritz: Yes. Unless of course you are in a very stressful period in your life because stress, by the way, changes the bacteria composition of bile and that means the flora of the bile and so when that changes the person produce gall stones in the bile ducts. And so stress and the diet of a person, continues eating junk foods and gets exposed to other kinds of environment toxins or medication such as Statins which are a leading cause of gall stones then, you basically would have to do a liver flush twice a year to make sure that anything that has been created in the meanwhile is being taken out.
Paul Nison: How helpful or do you not recommend or do you recommend colonics or enemas during the liver cleanse ?
Andreas Moritz: Yes, absolutely because when you omit that important part, first of all you may not get many stones out of the system. The reason for example a person is constipated and does the liver flush, now constipation is directly related to poor bile secretion, bile is a natural laxative, so it helps the bowel to empty at the regular, normal intervals. Now when a person is constipated, it shows there is not enough bile, he has a quite a considerable amount of stones in the bile ducts of the liver and perhaps in the gall bladder. when a person does not clean out the colon before the liver flush, and I recommend to do it on the day of the liver flush, when he does not do that then the gall bladder may not open at all. During the liver flush and that can prevent the release of stones. So a person may not have a very successful liver flush, and, the reason why the gall bladder does not open because when it is almost like a tube a regular tube if you close it at one end then nothing can come in form the other end. So you have to open it on the one side, the end, the rectum if there is a stricture and constipation it does not move, it does not flow so there is no vacuum released in a way that allows the gall stones to be sucked on through, so the gall bladder may remain shut. So it is important to remember that when we do a liver flush to clean out the entire colon before hand or at least have an enema to get some movement going and then do another colonic or colema or at lest two or three back to back water enemas within three days after each liver flush to make sure that the stones that still remained in the colon which always happens or almost always happens with every person. Some stones will remain in the colon and then they need to be taken out because they are loaded with toxins and as they disintegrate and melt away because these are soft stones they are not like rock hard crystallized stones, they are soft they are putty like and they have a typically green or beige or yellowish color to them and they in the warmth if you put them out in the heat, they will melt because ninety percent of them are fatty acids, it is fats that coagulated in the liver bile and so are cholesterol to a large extent that is why these stones when they get passed they float in the toilet. We can see them floating, because they are lighter than water but they are just as obstructive as regular gall stones in the gall bladder they are just softer but again they block the bile flow and that is one of the key reasons for digestive problems and numerous health problems there is just an endless number of health problems that can result simply form the congestion of bile ducts in the liver. it is unbelievable, because the liver is an organ that is responsible for keeping the body clean, it is the bodies filter, it is the blood filter, it is the primary blood filter that we have and it takes contaminants and metabolic waste products out of the blood and passes them into the bile and then the bile takes it down directly through the hepatic duct, the main duct that comes out of the liver which by passes the gall bladder and goes straight into small intestine where it passes the toxins that are in the bile out into the large intestine for excretion. Now Imagine if that function is diminished the blood can no longer be detoxified properly and instead the blood has to dump toxins into the delicate tissues of the body and when the tissues accumulate the toxins they eventually will not be able to breathe enough oxygen they wont get the nutrients, they start to deteriorate and this co-creates and enhance the aging of the body and aging in that respect will also mean increased incidents of illnesses. Whenever the toxins have accumulated most, that is where the damage will become more obvious, more apparent, that is where we get to a diagnosis for.
Paul Nison: You said they would melt in the heat, why wont they melt in the body?
Andreas Moritz: Well there is a, they need a lot of bacteria and the airborne bacteria are capable of breaking them down, in the liver, there is a certain, it is like there is no access to like oxygenation there things like that can be oxidized away. The, in the body in the colon they will deteriorate, they will eventually break down and that is why I so seriously want people not to omit cleaning out the colon afterwards because that sludge, that basically melting sludge releases a lot of the toxins that are in these stones that the reason why the liver makes these extra stones or the stones is to trap the toxins inside them. To keep the rest of the bile as it sort of gets produces and passes through some of the not clogged bile ducts, that the bile does not get contaminated overly contaminated and become useless for the digestive process. So the body is very self protective, these stones are not there by accident, they are there by purpose, there is a meaning, there is a good meaning behind them but in the long term they of course become obstructive and that can hinder the five hundred or six hundred different jobs that the liver needs to do every single day to take care of the health of the rest of the body.
Paul Nison: Besides the enemas and the colonics what is your opinion about the herbal colon cleanses out there?
Andreas Moritz: In relation to liver flushes or in general just to keep the colon clean?
Paul Nison: Both. In relation to the liver flush, they help or hurt it? And just in general to keep the colon clean.
Andreas Moritz: They wont hurt the liver flushes but they are not extremely useful because they are mostly oil cleanses and for the liver flushes it is better to, lets say, the person does have a stricture in the ascending colon, and an oil herbal cleanse will not open up the stricture but a colonic will. And so in that sense washing out the colon is far more effective for this purpose but for like there is some other cleanses, I personally not very keen on the herbal cleanses that contain silium husk and the reason for that is because when I tested this process about twenty years ago when it first sort of was first discussed in natural health and I tested it on a lot of people these cleanses are supposed to produce a lot of fecal matter and lots of thicker matter or fecal matter and so I tested it on a lot of people, on my self as well, it is true they produce these ropes, rubbery ropes of thicker matter and when I examined them, most of them were expanded silium and bentonite clay, so because when you put the silium husk and bentonite together and you put it in a glass of water, it swells up tremendously, by hundreds and hundreds of times and so it becomes a rubber like structure and when it passes through the system it absorbs fecal water and of course some toxins but it also acts like a broom and the silium husk have very-very sharp edges to them. Because it is husk, it is un- digestible, it cannot be digested by the human body. And so it will act like a broom and delicate structures of the intestinal wall can easily get damaged by that. So I have seen a lot of people who take these things, eventually their peristalsis becomes very weakened, they discontinue that when that stimulation is no longer there, so the microscopic injuries all along the gastrointestinal track are quite significant. So I am very careful giving that advice using silium in powder form because it is still in microscopic form you can still see a huge number of tiny-tiny little sharp edges like crystalline structures to them. And so I prefer some milder forms that I for many years recommended people can use magnesium oxides like colosan or oxy-powder or oxy flush because it releases a large amount of oxygen into the intestinal environment, it oxides waste matter and it liquefies the waste matter, combines with hydrogen ions in the toxin and waste matter and then liquefies the waste and sort of comes out in the liquid form but it is not like diarrhea which can be weaken to the body and laxatives can have that weakening effect, even herbal laxatives can have that weakening effect. So I prefer to use something that is actually more a cleanser rather than a laxative.
Paul Nison: What about the taking clay just by itself without any of the silium, what do you think of that?
Andreas Moritz: It depends on the person who is taking them. I have seen with bentonite being beneficial in the so called pitha body type, I have described that in my book “THE TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION“, where that type does not tend to have constipation ever but a person like the vata type who has some more dryness in his intestines and he has a very lower water content. He is a dry person anyway, dry skin, skinny, thin person and more prone to constipation and that person can actually absorb the water and become like a plaster in the intestinal wall, so not very person benefits from that. The people that have a lot of liquid going through them, they can take that yes. It can be a great emergency relief it you have been exposed to toxins or sort of poisons that are accidently ingested or overdose of drugs, I have see incredible results with bentonite clay, I prefer the liquid bentonite clay, that you can buy, which is better as the body does not have to look for water in order to liquefy the bentonite powder and so that would be a better choice, there is also charcoal in that place, you can use charcoal to absorb toxins or poisons very-very quickly and it can prevent these toxins and poison to enter the blood stream and cause blood poisoning.
Paul Nison: You have mentioned that the liver cleanse can help people with digestive disorders, and I deal with a lot of people that have inflammatory bowel disease. How helpful is the liver cleanse, the liver flush for people with inflammatory bowel disease? And is it okay for them to take it during a inflammatory attack or should they do it when they are not in that stage?
Andreas Moritz: Typically you do not want to liver flush of you are weak, so for example, people who have an infection, an acute infection, where then that is better to wait until the infection has healed up. But if there is chronic inflammation, there are a lot of people who have crones disease and did liver flushes and they found it extremely beneficial because in the presence of bile inflammation subsides or diminishes so it is a great healer. It does a lot of things there is a new study that I just came across that, people who have a asthma and sort of constant inflammation of their respiratory system, they found that when they had a hepatitis infection and they suffered from jaundiced, the jaundice healed up their asthma and their respiratory inflammation. So bile constituents when they go through the system and these are particularly they are two bile pigments that helped through that and so bile pigments are extremely beneficial for calming down and reducing inflammation in the GI track, the problem with the lack of bile when there is insufficient bile coming out, hydrochloric acid form the stomach is not neutralized by the alkaline bile sufficiently and it can burn holes in the intestines. So you can get a lot of colitis like experience when you do not make enough bile because the stomach still produces HCL, hydrochloric acid and it is very burning, you do not what to drink hydrochloric acid but that is basically what we do when we do not produce enough bile.
Paul Nison: So you are recommending people with inflammatory bowel disease for the most part, if they are in an inflammatory stage, it is better not to do it during that stage.
Andreas Moritz: Yes, it is better to, sort of, focus a little more on the diet, but, when there is no acute pain and these terrible cramps and things like that, then, certainly liver flush would be appropriate because it would go right to the root cause of the problem. The inability of the body to balance out the acidity of from the stomach through the mingling with, mixing with the bile.
Paul Nison: And there is many different reasons from hemorrhoids to inflammatory bowel disease to other reasons that blood in the stool, if somebody has blood in the stool, would the liver cleanse be suggested to be avoided or would it might maybe help?
Andreas Moritz: Actually blood in the stool is not a disease , it is actually the body bleeding, trying to bleed in order to get rid of pockets of toxins that have accumulated there and so most people get frightened oh my god I have blood in the stool! This is terrible! And then medical intervention stops that which is one of the worst things you can do. It is better to let the body bleed it out and then the body can heal itself pretty quickly so, however during the, when there is blood in the stool I would not do a liver flush because a lot of toxins do go through the track along with the stones and you do not want to irritate that part of the body so it is better to take care of other causes that have contributed to the bleeding, that for example, certain foods that can be very harsh on the body like if you eat animal proteins like a piece of meat, the chances for the human body to digest more than twenty percent of that is very-very slim because we do not have high enough concentration of hydrochloric acid in our stomach to digest the entire piece of meat so we are not like cats that have like huge high concentration of hydrochloric acid so when we eat the same thing we digest only a fraction of that and the rest of it the eighty percent is not digested will have to be decomposed and that produces what are called nitrosamines, they are very-very powerful carcinogenic poisons and they get absorbed through the wall of the intestines and if they are not absorbed it can accumulate there and it can cause severe damage to the intestinal wall, so when we, that is why we find with colorectal cancer that people eat meat have a higher risk of colorectal cancer than people who do not. So it is very sort of a risk being on a vegetarian diet, of developing colon cancer is pretty low compared to people who are eating meat. So there are certain things you can do to reduce the sort of highly acid forming foods so that the healing can occur and then do the liver flushes once that is sort of been initiated and completed.
Paul Nison: Oh you have mentioned cancer in terms of helping people with cancer how much so does the liver flushes help people that are dealing with different types of cancer ?
Andreas Moritz: Basically you want to have clean blood with any kind of cancer so you want to make sure that the blood filter number one in the body, which the liver is, is clean too. Because if you have a dirty filter you know what that means, you are filtering something and more of the same toxins become released from the filter and then they enter the fluid and contaminate it even more. So having a bad unclean dirty filthy filter is not a good idea because it the filter breeds bacteria and parasites, all kinds of nasty things that may enter the circulation and in the blood, so it is not a good grounds to heal anything including cancer. So, and it really works, I had recently an oncologist come to me and he said you know my wife she had breast cancer for six years, and she was lucky to be alive and now the cancer has metastasized to the liver and to her bones and he said I have tried everything, I have been in this field for twenty years and I tried every new chemo therapy drug that was coming on the market that was promising but it never worked. it is getting worse. And so I took one look at her and there you could see from her pale complexion, very greyish facial skin color that her liver was totally absolutely blocked with all those drugs the chemo therapy drugs completely blocked her bile ducts and so there was just no digestion she does not digest anything, she just does not, she feel energy and she gets bloated every time she eats and pain and cramping and so did the first liver flush and I have never seen anything like that, and it does not typically happen I can tell you that because million of people have done liver flushes and I get a lot of hundreds of emails per day for feed back, what people experience and I have never seen anything like that. This woman passed three thousand stones in her first liver flush and it took three days of constantly clearing, the liver bile ducts never closed down again and the gall bladder never closed, it constantly and it emptied the whole thing, it was an unbelievable thing and three weeks later the doctors came back to me and said we did the, we tested for all the cancers and there was not a trace in the liver, there was nothing left in the bones and in the lungs there was a tiny speck of cancer left tiny-tiny speck of which she was very confident that would go away during the next liver flushes. This was an extreme case but it really shows the mechanism, that the body can heal itself when it become decongested when it can once again circulate enough oxygen to the system, a thick blood that is congeal and then corrugated with all kinds of things that should not have there corrugating the protein but having a lot of toxins in there and acids that can remain in the blood stream, there is very little oxygenation of the cells and so some groups of cells with the least amount of oxygenation will succumb and will have to mutate into a different form of cell that allows them to live these are know as the cancer cells, but, these they are not bad cells they continue doing some of the jobs, they just have a different metabolism, they do not use oxygen to gain energy, they use glucose that is why they have such a strong appetite for sugar and when a person eats a lot of sweet and sugar much of that will be just feeding the cancer cells.
Paul Nison: You mentioned that somebody if they do not get stones when they do a liver cleanse , they are not doing it successfully in a successful way. Can everyone expect if they follow your guidelines and instructions to pass stones?
Andreas Moritz: This day and age, people living in big cities which are just open them up, people living indoors and there is a new study that shows that indoor pollution is five hundred times higher than outdoor pollution and they tested that in LA, Los Angeles, so you can imagine the contaminants, recently again that there was study on children and new born and they found that in an average a new born child already has five hundred toxic chemicals in the blood stream. So as long as you do have these things because the blood is filtered out by the liver cells, the liver cells they do not, they bathe in blood, it is not like in all the other organs in the body, there are blood vessels they are called sinusoids and they have little holes in them so the entire blood moves through them and bathes the liver cells and the liver cells then take toxins out of there that the surrounding blood and then put new things in they manufacture them, the liver manufactures tons of enzymes and they make sure that the blood is not too thick and not too thin, that there is enough iron in the blood and if it is not it will supply that and so it keeps track of all the hormones in the body making sure that we do not have too many of one or too little of another so there are so many things the liver has to keep track so by dealing with the liver you deal basically with the rest of the body.
Paul Nison: Sure, and can somebody if their dealing, if they have a gall bladder stone but their doctor wants to do surgery, something else, if they follow the instruction in the book and they safely do it at home or there are circumstances where they should to do additional testing before they decide to do this flush?
Andreas Moritz: Well, I can only speak form the experience, of my own experience having gone though forty gall stone attacks, which did not killed me by the way, they were, maybe it felt like they killed me but, they did not. So it is a little overrated to say well if a person has a gall stone attack, his life is in danger, it is just that the pain is so excruciating, that you panic and then it sends you to the emergency room and they say look this is stuck, there is no other way and it is better to take out the whole gall bladder and then take the stone which were retrieved form the cystic duct or the common bile duct. So the answer is that I would suggest first drink a glass of Epsom salts, ninety eight percent of the cases, the stones, the bile ducts will become so relaxed that because of that that will pass on its own. I have just heard it hundreds and thousand of times making that recommendation as simple as it sounds, it just is far more effective than anything than a lot of medicines so far has to offer and in addition putting a warm poultice like a warm towel with soaked in warm apple cider vinegar over the liver area and it relaxes it, massaging the toes, the little toes, the small toes particularly the second to the last, the fourth toe, vigorously, that is the one that is where the gall bladder meridian ends and just by squeezing it very hard the stone may actually pass by itself. It also relaxes the bile duct, the common bile duct. So very-very effective things, strategies nothing would work in very rare case, than I would suggest yes, check in to the hospital, because we do not know if a gall bladder is completed packed or has perforated, but theses are extreme cases that means a person must have gone through many episodes of gall stone attacks and bloating, terrible bloating, indigestion, chronic indigestion for many-many years to reach such a dire situation.
Paul Nison: What do you say to people that criticize the flush by saying it is just oil that is coming out and not much else. What do you say to those people ?
Andreas Moritz: Oh they could do a simple test, I would suggest charcoal and charcoal is a black coal, charcoal as charcoal is, and it is safe to take, there is no side effects taking charcoal so when you add that to the oil mixture basically what you have is that, it will color the oil mixture black. So the olive oil is looking like oily or golden color will look black and so because of that when you do a liver flush and you are passing green stones, then you know that these green stones are not made from olive oil. That is a very simple test anyone can do that test and I have conducted that test many times, always works, so the stones are completely without black color. Where as if you do, lets say, charcoal today, you drink that you take a tablet or two you will find that your stool is becoming black. So it does color the a stool so it is not that you digest the charcoal it is not digestible. There are many other tests you can you. We have sent and other have sent the stones to laboratories and they confirmed these were cholesterol stones and they said green cholesterol stones you can also have, there are pictures of dissected livers where you see the exact same color green stones and sludge that come out through the liver and they come out during the liver flush and you can basically see that they are identical. There is other, lot of people actually pass stones naturally and I used to as well, I saw these green stones before I ever did liver flushes when I had gall stone attacks, so some of them did go through and they were the same green colored stones and I never did take any olive oil and things like that. So then to claim you can possible turn olive oil even if used the golden color olive oil into red green stones it is quite, something that I never saw in the scientific literature that could happen. Yeah it is completely illogical, we are not a self stone factory, that we somehow can manufacture stones that stink, any one who has done the liver flush has, finds when you smell some of these stones, they have a horrendous smell, putrid, poisons, it is like chemicals from, particularly when people do chemo therapy and then they do liver flushes, they smell like chemicals of the drugs in the stomach. Then there are people who have done a number of liver flushes like three four liver flushes many of them report already during the preparation period when they, which is used to soften the stones for six days, they are already passing the same stones and there is no olive oil taken during that time so it is definitely not from the olive oil. When a person eats a very fattening greasy meal, there is a lot of bile secretion and the person who does not have any stones he would not make any olive oil stones from having a lot of olive oil. I have lived in the Mediterranean for fifteen years, in Greece, cypress and on the island of cypress, and people there use olive oil like you would think there is a soup and most of it is like olive oil, it is literally full of olive oil so they eat a lot of that and they are not producing green gall stones, in fact it has been shown that person who have a lot of olive oil in their diet, they make less of these kinds of stones.
Paul Nison: So in terms of you mentioned olive oil, well can people use a different type of oil such as hemp oil or avocado oil or is avocado the only thing recommended and if so is there what particular type of olive oil versus another do you recommend.
Andreas Moritz: Yes, I tend to propose that people use olive oil and that is the first pressing olive oil, virgin olive oil. But yes avocado oil would be another alternative because it is a food oil and food oils are better than the concentrated seed oils, so sunflower oil can be used and has been used by people who cannot tolerate olive oil there are other oils that are colorless and so they produce the same result, by the way, so I test that as well, colour stones, so it is irrelevant. But the olive oil has shown to be more effective and that is why I prefer that.
Paul Nison: Is there one type of olive oil that you recommend over another like it should it be refrigerated olive oil or dated olive oil or it does not make a difference?
Andreas Moritz: No, like with every oil it should not be rancid and the older oil I the more likely it becomes rancid, particularly seed oils they become more rancid more quickly, however, and nut oils obviously, but olive oil is more, is less susceptible to oxidation that means to acidity and therefore one does not really need to be concerned about that most olive oils are suitable if you have had it in your kitchen for two years then yes use a fresh one buy it from the grocery store. Most of them are clear there are some that have other oils mixed into them but people who know olive oil, they detect the difference they know that this is a punched oil that has other oils in them that, there are some companies that want to make a lot of money form olive oil because it is more expensive and they put soy oil in it still smells of olive oil when you open it but it does not taste the same. I do not recommend those.
Paul Nison: Does it say on the bottle that there is different oil that is
Andreas Moritz: No. because they can say one hundred percent olive oil and then they do not have to say that is does not, that it is not one hundred [percent olive oil
Paul Nison: So how do people know?
Andreas Moritz: Usually people who know about olive oil they can taste it, there is a different, but the color it is looks like these commercial sunflower oils which are like this bright beautiful golden color. These are refined oils, processed oils. So stay away from olive oil that has a golden color tone to it, it should have this greenish sort of tone to it. Greenish golden. That is a more genuine type. There are some brands that are coming out of California and they are not so good, I would not want to give you the names of them.
Paul Nison: Ok sure I understand. So what about coffee enemas they good for helping cleaning the liver or not recommended?
Andreas Moritz: Yes for people who cannot clean their liver, coffee enemas is a good alternative, but, unfortunately, it does not get rid of any stones. It opens the bile ducts and allows the liver to release some toxins and it can be felt quite immediately, you would feel after a coffee enema you will have more energy for a couple of days until the presence of gall stones will then again re-contaminate the liver, because it is like you are closing the exit doors and or shutting them at least some extent and it cannot, the bile cannot sufficiently be secreted and eliminated it when there are a lot stones in the bile ducts of the liver. So it does not replace the whole flushes definitely. It does not even get close to it. I should not replace the colon cleanses because they coffee enema goes up to the rectum and it is not a colon cleanser it literally just opens bile ducts in the liver and helps the facilitate or prompt the release of more bile from the liver to get rid of some toxins that can come out of the liver.
Paul Nison: Since it opens up bile ducts would it be beneficial to do coffee enema while you are doing the liver flush?
Andreas Moritz: No because then that is a double whammy the liver flushes is already so effective it gets rid of stones and toxins that are in the bile ducts as well so it does not do anything more than you already doing with the liver flush.
Paul Nison: Now Epsom salts prepares a person for the liver flush and helps in cleanse them some what you recommend doing a colonics or an enema prior to doing the flush if someone does the Epsom salts and they do not have a bowel movement is there any need for concern or not necessarily?
Andreas Moritz: Yes, if a person does not respond to Epsom salts then there may be a blockage in the colon. Such as a stricture and or there maybe a the person may have a tendency to constipation, so then definitely cleaning out the whole colon would be very important prior to the actual liver flush itself. The Epsom salts which is basically magnesium sulphate or the use of magnesium citrate which works almost as well as Epsom salts will keep the bile ducts open during the entire process. So you start off two doses of Epsom salts before you do the liver flush in the evening and then during the next morning you take another dose of Epsom slats. So there is a double function to the Epsom salts, keeping the bile ducts open so that the stones can travel easily without getting caught anywhere and the second function is to work as a laxative to transport the stones and waste down into the exiting, to the colon and rectum for elimination
Paul Nison: If some body is doing a good amount of fasting and colonics before the liver flush nothing would be really there to come out during Epsom salts so that could just be one of the reasons why they were not reacting. Correct?
Andreas Moritz: Well if they are completely clean, then the Epsom salts will not produce much. No.
Paul Nison: Okay another question is, you mentioned that yourself you have done many of these, I do not know how your diet was before you started doing these cleanses but after you have you said the absorption of the food was much better did. You notice a difference in the amount of food you needed to eat? Did you need to eat much less?
Andreas Moritz: Right, I used to eat a lot because I did not get much from food so I tended to overeat. I have been a vegan vegetarian for forty years now. But I was only eating the things that I was eating and that created a lot of more problems, but I just craved that, I felt I needed it because I did not get much energy from foods so I started eating more and I craved the foods so I was overeating chronically. When I did my liver flushes the overeating stopped spontaneously and then so I was eating never to the, keep filling up my stomach,. My stomach actually began to shrink because it used to be extended because I just hacked in so much food. And so my stomach became smaller and so the need to eat the same amount of food as I needed before was no longer there, and so, I found that my digestion became so much more efficient so I made better use of the food I was eating therefore I did not need to eat as much and I eat very little in the evening it is basically just some vegetable soup with a piece of bread with butter on it and that is totally satisfying. My breakfast is also pretty small. Lunch is my biggest meal of the day where I eat fresh food that means raw like salad to begin with and some cooked vegetables, very deliciously prepared and some basmati rice or some other grain foods that I always eat enough fat with these foods and some spices and herbs they make it very delicious, maybe some coconut milk and things like that and I digest extremely well sometimes I have some nuts or seeds or maybe some pulses, legumes but not very often. I do not have any deficiencies of any kind, no protein deficiencies, muscles are strong, no energy deficits, I work form six o’clock in the Moring sometimes into unfortunately to ten o’clock at night, I sleep around never wake up at night, I used to have to go to the toilet three times, my kidneys recovered from and my prostate completely recovered from the problems I had when my liver did not work very well.
Paul Nison: You mentioned two questions there, you mentioned you have been a vegan for forty years but then you just said you had bread you eat bread with butter.
Andreas Moritz: That is the only exception. So I still consider myself vegan but the only exception is butter and I found it did not cause me any problems so, I made the exception. It was not that I had philosophical reasons to become a vegan or a vegetarian it just it saved my life. I could not live anymore I literally destroyed myself because of the protein that damaged my blood vessel walls, it cause a lot of heart problems and the rheumatoid arthritis, my blood circulation was so minimal that my toes were frozen even in the middle of the summer. My fingers were always cold, I could not get up from a chair or from the bed without feeling faint and having some blackness in my head and so feeling very weak inside to go and sit down again and get up very-very gradually. So my life was very much sort of walking on crutches all the time and it was not fun and so by changing the diet that was the first time when I noticed a massive improvement and so I stuck with it and survived. If you can do that and it saved my life and they gave me one year to live so it saved my life and extended my life by forty / forty-five years or fifty years then I am not unhappy.
Paul Nison: Actually I know my viewers are going to ask . how old are you?
Andreas Moritz: I am fifty seven.
Paul Nison: Great wow.
Andreas Moritz: Oh! Fifty eight
Paul Nison: Okay and you mentioned sleeping patterns did you notice a big change in how many hours you needed to sleep after the flushes?
Andreas Moritz: Yes, I used to not sleep very well. So it was sort of hard to go by the length of the night because in the night time I used to have a lot of pain so even if I did not have gall stone attacks I had shoulder and neck pain and headaches and pounding headaches that I did not sleep well and then my urinary bladder was just so contracted because of so many crystals from all the proteins I used to eat. Uric acid crystals that they started constricting my bladder and so my bladder was filling up so easily and so quickly so I had to run to the toilet two three times every night and so when I that disturbed my sleep tremendously. So I was never really rested. So when after my liver flushes I just took me two to three seconds to fall asleep and I would wake up in the morning completely rested after about seven eight hours.
Paul Nison: Wonderful now tell us about the connection, you said you have been a vegan for a long time. Do you take B-12 supplements or there a connection with the liver and being toxin and B-12.
Andreas Moritz: Yes B-12 is then there again there is a lot of controversy on the subject. Cause there is the idea that vegetarians or vegan people they have a deficit of B-12. B-12 is stored in the liver. The amount of B-12 we need during a lifetime is about the amount of the top of the pinky nail. And these are basically bacteria, dead bacteria that is where the B-12 is. And we, in our gut, we do have B-12 and we do absorb it. So when a person had digestive problems that is when they develop B-12 deficiencies. When the digestion improves the B-12 deficiencies disappear so once gain it takes us back to the liver and the liver regulates the digestive process if you do not make enough bile, then you do not digest any food properly. Most people believe, oh that is just there for fat, to digest fat, to make emulsified fats, but, it is not true. Bile is needed for every food, why? because we need fat to digest carbohydrates. Carbohydrates cannot be digested properly without fats. Proteins which always come with their own fat unless you remove the fat like the skimmed milk which is the real nuisance. If you remove the fat from the milk you wont be able to digest the protein you need to have fat in protein and fat in carbohydrates to digest them, if you eat rice without fat adding like butter or oil to it, it will go through the small intestine in record time, it literally will just go though it and will end up in your large intestine and ferment there, that means you will produce a lot of toxins because fermenting bacteria produce a lot of toxin. So it is important to realize that that bile is so important with regards to digesting any kind of food because you digest fat and the fart is needed to digest other food as well. B-12 could be absorbed there is a need for bile salts that also need to be absorbed and passed in the liver and with lack of bile secretion there are lack of bile salts. You develop a deficiency of all kinds of nutrient elements that otherwise would be there so I have never had a B-12 deficiency ever again ever since I became vegan vegetarian. It is interesting when people eat a lot of concentrated protein foods they are actually having a higher instance of B-12 deficiency simply because they produce a lot of putrefied foods and that clogs up the membrane and the end part of the small intestine where the absorption of B-12 takes place. So a lot of congestion there from undigested food is the major reason for B-12 deficiencies. It is not that a person is vegan vegetarian or meat eater. It is when the food is not digested properly that is the main reason for that. And that can happen to any one there are a lot of vegan vegetarians that are very ill, they do not look good, they are frail looking, weak, they are bloated all the time, have a lot of gas, there are just not on the good balanced vegetarian diet.
Paul Nison: What about probiotics and the liver flush is there any connection between probiotics supplements? Does it help the liver flush at all?
Andreas Moritz: Not that I found. It is a cleansing process when you cleanse the body you do not want at the same time to feed it. These are two different things. I always find that cleansing the body, the liver and colon and kidneys, there is a kidney cleanse in my book “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALL BLADDER FLUSH” that is also vey important because the kidneys, when the liver is not working well, the kidneys get contaminated very easily. When you are cleansed the body, you utilization of the nutrients in the food are optimized so you have a much better chance to generate a balanced probiotics environment where you have the beneficial bacteria thrive and the destructive bacteria also be there but not dominate and so that the beneficial bacteria keep the destructive bacteria at the right number for them to do their precious work. There are no bad bacterias, it is just that there is an imbalance because either we are not digesting food well because there is not enough bile coming through or we are eating foods that are contaminating our bodies outright. And that requires more fermentation of putrefaction that you need on a regular basis it is well know that disturbs the bacteria population in the gut.
Paul Nison: So the body give off the liver really produces enzymes, so the enzymes supplementation help or hurt? Or is it good in general?
Andreas Moritz: I am always careful recommending enzymes supplements because it is like giving a person a crutch. It is better to train the body, re train the body to produce its own enzymes and it has nothing to do with age, most people think well the older we grow the less enzymes we make. That is really a very non scientific statement because you turn over cells all the time you turn over thirty billion cells, that means we produce thirty billion new cells and we get rid of thirty billion old cells hopefully. However if there is a blockage in the bile ducts of the liver and the metabolic waste products are not removed properly the cells not have the same capability of renewing themselves, replacing them selves in the correct intervals them you will have a lot of dead cells accumulating or damaged cells premature cells that are not fully developing so all kinds of issues arise when this happens. So I am not in favor, there are some circumstances where people were benefited, they do need the crutches like in real like sometimes you need crutches at least for some time but in the long term and as a general statement, I do not recommend taking enzymes to make the bodies own enzymes production sort of put it in on the back burner almost like suppressing the bodies own enzyme production. The thing is that when we put in a substances or nutrients into the system, the body will look at what it produces itself and say well if that comes in, say for melatonin, tremendous thing for jet lag and for some mental issues and for getting calmer, and so, there are a lot of people take melatonin supplements but when you do that the body stops producing or reduces its own production of melatonin, so you become dependent on the supplement melatonin. So it is not the same when introduce something from the outside than we produce it. The body produces the enzymes in the right amount the right amount of enzymes in response to the right mount of bile. If you have less bile the body also produces less enzymes to digest the food because it is not wasteful it does not want to produce like twice as much enzymes when it has only very little bile to play with. There is an interaction between pancreatic enzymes and the bile from the liver and what is that? That interaction takes place right where the bile is entering there small intestine because before the bile enters the small intestine it mixes with pancreatic juices and it has to do that because the bile activates the digestive enzymes that come from the pancreas so without enough bile if there is not enough bile around these digestive enzymes form there pancreas they may be there but they cannot do anything because they are not activated by the bile so we should always look at the sort of the larger picture and not think well I am not digesting my food well so I better take enzymes and yes they work, they absolutely work, people have less gases but the long term consequences of that are not known to the person.
Paul Nison: Well you have given me a lot of information about your actual flush and I want the viewers to know we are not going to tell people what the flush is, we are going to tell them to get to your website and get to your books to find out the exact instructions of the flush because it is more than enough information we have time for here today. So I wanted you in a second to give out your information how people can contact you, but, I do have one question about the flush. Some people do drink straight olive oil and some people mix it. Do you recommend one over the other or do you not recommend one of those?
Andreas Moritz: It is hard to drink it straight, some people really get very nauseated when they do that. The second thing is there is something in citrus juice like lemon juice or orange juice or grapefruit juice, when they combine with the olive oil you have an enhanced effect. These citrus juices, they also open the bile ducts they are known to do that. That’s is why lemon juice is pretty good for the liver and the gall bladder, it is also good for the kidneys, so it also minimizes reduces calcifications, so lemon juice is very good. It is very supportive of getting a successful liver flush going.
Paul Nison: All right. Give everybody how they can contact you because you not only deal with the liver you deal with all types of cleansing. Give everybody your information how they can contact your website, phone and also of your books, maybe the book they should get before all or just all your books. Tell them your information.
Andreas Moritz: Yes, my website address is “ENER-CHI.COM” that spells e-n-e-r dash or hyphen c-h-I. com and I have written thirteen books. I have done a lot of healing with diabetes you can find that on my website. Lot of free information lot of videos and there is a link to my Facebook page a lot of free information, constantly being presented on that and on my blog site. Basically from there you can access all the information that is needed if you want to delve into the subject more.
Paul Nison: Great. And in terms of weight issues, if people are having trouble putting on and take off weight once they cleanse their liver that will definitely help them achieve their goals right?
Andreas Moritz: Yes and because it changes the metabolism and when we digest food more we metabolize it better. You do not convert as much into fat when people get fat they have weight gain problem. It is not a problem it is a solution to an underline problem because the weight gain helps to neutralize toxins when people think oh these bad fat cells that I am accumulating, the bad fat cells are actually very good and helpful cells because they accumulate a lot of toxins and so they keep these toxins away from the blood stream, so they are doing you a favor. So when you want to lose weight it is important to first open the channels of elimination the liver, the kidneys and the colon otherwise you do not bring, you breaking down forcefully a lot of these toxic elements they flood the system and they clog up the exit organs, the eliminative organs and this can cause serious problems particularly to the heart. So a lot of people get heart attacks when they suddenly lose weight, I have a written a book called “FEEL GREAT – LOSE WEIGHT” which is the, a person makes itself feel great by cleansing all these organs you start feeling great you lose weight automatically, you do not have to regulate your weight the body does that for you. It is designed to do that. The weight gain is a survival response. It is not a disease, it is not physically it is not a disease it is a survival mechanism and should not be destroyed or targeted or manipulated. It should be naturally, it should happen naturally by taking care of ones diet and lifestyle, cleaning out the body, taking care of the basics so that the body can regulate its own weight and without any-any side effects.
Paul Nison: And that would be the same thing for people that struggle with high cholesterol exactly what you just said flushing the liver ?
Andreas Moritz: Yes definitely. The problem with having high cholesterol is not a problem at all. It is in fact never been shown to cause heart attacks. In fact it is now shown that the Statins, and it is a brand new study to show that Statins that lower the cholesterol there is an increased risk of heart attack form doing that also brain damage and now Alzheimer’s disease, the latest study that came out a couple of days ago it is actually causing diabetes. Statins cause diabetes. So when you take the cholesterol down through artificial means you create massive inflammation throughout the body and that is signified by these inflammatory illnesses like Alzheimer’s and diabetes. So you do not really want to go down that road. You want to go the organ that is manufacturing the most cholesterol, when there is inflammation you need cholesterol to patch up the wounds and to heal those wounds by taking care of your health in this manner you are reducing the chances of inflammation, eating less animal proteins, reduces inflammation throughout the body and through out the blood vessel system then you have a much better chance for lowering the cholesterol the body will take care of this. This is not something we have to forcefully do and otherwise get a lot of side effects form doing that.
Paul Nison: Great and here is the last question Andreas . Exercise is it helpful and can the body get rid of these stones and is it advisable to stop exercising during the flush?
Andreas Moritz: No, you can do exercise on the day of the liver flush, nobody wants to exercise, you do not have the energy to do that, so nobody will do that because it takes a lot of, it is ,like having surgery, you are clearing out the stones all the energy goes into draining out the stones but before the liver flush, no problem, I am not a great friend of over exercising to push the body. Fifty percent of the capacity that is how far one should go. Not more, if you can run ten miles before you collapse, run only five miles. So just half of what you could do and exercise should be enjoyment. It should really make you feel, good not make you feel tired or exhausted. If it makes you feel tired you are getting congested from doing that and if it defeats the purpose. There is some studies to show that walking three times a week reduces the risk of cancer by fifty percent from John Hopkins University.
Paul Nison: I just want to say you have been a wonderful guest thank you for joining us on this show. I recommend everyone get to your website. Before you go is there anything you would like to add?
Andreas Moritz: No you were a wonderful host and I loved your questions and you made it vey interesting, so thank you so much.
Paul Nison: Great thank you. I knew you would really enjoy Andreas and if were not ready to get his book before, I know you are ready to get now. So ‘rawlife.com’ get Andreas book and also get his cancer book as well. We are going to have him on the show again I just confirmed in November, he is going to be on the show again and we are going to interview him more specifically about cancer. But it was just a blessing to speak with him and meet him, both had a go, but, we could go on this program for a very long time and it was the first time I used this new software I got for skype so I believe quality came out really well and I am really excited about that and I am excited that you are a member and you are joining the raw life and you joined the raw life health show so thank you again for that put your comments below have a great week we have some great videos coming up this week. And if there is something you would like to see or somebody you would like me to interview, post it below the video and we will get to it. Alright, so everybody have a great day, a great weekend, a great raw life.

Hi, this is a question from Aradhna, she bought my liver flush book and had done one successful liver flush where numerous gallstones came out of her liver. These were green stones, these are typical cholesterol stones, but, there are two three, there are several two-three millimeter calcified, these are calcified, gallstones in the gallbladder that wont budge, and, she is taking some of the recommended products like Chanca Piedra that are mentioned in the book and she is still getting a lot of pain in the gallbladder though.
I mention in the book that calcified gallstones are typically the last stones to come out and that is because they are heavier they tend to sit in the pit, in the lower part, of the gallbladder and typically they are more reluctant to come out because gravity keeps them at the lowest point and the lighter stones, the cholesterol stones, that are lighter than water, in fact that is why they float in the water, in the toilet water, these are more ready to come out, so, this is a matter of patience. I passed my own calcified stones not before cleanse number six.
Some people pass them at the eight or ninth liver flush, my wife passed hers on the ninth flush and it was a very large stone, it was over two inches and it was fully calcified and after that she passed all her other calcified stones that she had in her gallbladder for many years which caused her a lot of pain, so, it is hard to tell when they are coming out. One older gentleman, he was 90 years old and he was diagnosed with large calcified gallstones that were more than one and a half centimeters large and he passed them… he had three of them, he passed them during the first liver flush, he went back to his doctor, his doctor said I cannot believe that they are gone, that was a 90 year old, so, it is not quite predictable but from my experience, it takes a while before calcified stones come out.
So I cannot tell you anything more about that, keep on using Chanca Piedra, have the juice of one or two lemons a day which also reduces the size of stones and so then they are more likely to come out during one of the future liver flushes. So I wish you well and keep going, because that is about the only thing I know of that can clear out calcified stones.

Hi this is a question from someone who has repeated gallstone attacks, and is wondering if there is anything that can be done to stop a gallstone attack.
I can speak from my own experience, I had forty gallstone attacks when I was young and when I did my first liver flush, these attacks stopped. But it is, in some cases, even if you do liver flushes, and there are still stones in the bile ducts of the liver and/or gallbladder you are still prone, susceptible, to have a future attack, so it is not necessarily a guarantee that you won’t have future attacks. But, once your liver is clean and your gallbladder is cleaned out, there is no way you can have another gallstone attack. I still recommend to do a liver flush every six to eight months just to make sure that no new stones that might have formed will impact the bile ducts again. So this is just a sort of a maintenance program .
Going back to if you do have a gallstone attack after eating a fatty meal which is typically the main reason for suffering a gallstone attack, even though lifting heavy objects can lead to contraction of the gall bladder and push the stone into the cystic duct or common bile duct, which happened to me frequently after lifting something heavy, I used to get a gallstone attack, but in the majority of cases it is after eating a fatty meal, high protein, heavy evening meal, overeating which can do it, certain foods like eggs, which is a leading trigger for gallstone attacks… fish is another one, meat of course, foods that are fried, deep friend foods, trans fatty acids in baked goods, milk can be a trigger, cow’s milk, so there are a number of factors one should be careful about to prevent them, but if you have had or if you have a gallstone attack there are a number of things you can do.
First thing on an empty stomach put a tablespoon of Epsom salts into a glass of water, eight ounces, and drink that down. Again on an empty stomach, not on a full stomach. This will relax the bile ducts so if a stone is stuck in the common bile duct it will start relaxing and this allows the stone to travel through and enter the small and large intestine for elimination. So this is the first thing you will need to do.
Then you can also at the same time, around the same time, massage the toes, the middle toes of both of your feet, and there is the gallbladder meridian that runs into the second smallest toe, this is particularly the one that you want to massage more vigorously, really dig into it even if it is painful, get into the place between the little joints, the toe joints, and massage that.
And another way to stimulate the gall bladder and the bile duct to pass any stuck stones is to put a poultice, let’s say a, a towel that you put into warm apple cider vinegar or castor oil and lay that over the liver area and keep it there for at least half an hour and it will relax this whole area to allow passage of the stone to occur.
Another trick is to drink during the following two or three meals one cupful to one glassful of red beet juice and that also tends to relax the bile ducts and increase the bile secretion so that oily bile that is secreted can help remove the stuck stone in the common bile duct or cystic duct.
So there are some of the best things you can do instead of running away straight to the hospital and having an emergency operation to remove the gallbladder, that is not something I recommend, do these other things before you do that, if you feel confident. So, it does not take long to drink a glass of Epsom salts, so the effect would be almost immediate. So you can do that in any case, and you still can go to the hospital if you like to, but, this is what I would strongly recommend you do and typically the person will find relief very quickly.

Hi, this is a question with regards to cleansing the kidneys and the question is from a spouse who is asking on behalf of her husband and she says, “My husband has polycystic kidneys and he tries to drink three liters of water a day, however, I am also reading that lemon juice without sugar is good for the kidneys, helping with kidney stones. Can some of the water be reduced and replaced with lemon juice and perhaps some honey?”
The answer is first of all drinking too much can be just as harmful as drinking too little. The kidneys can take care of up to maybe a typically six to eight glasses of water…these are eight ounces… of water per day, unless the person exercises very vigorously and may need more, there are also fluctuations depending on the seasons, during the summer season, there is more perspiration, there is also more loss of fluid and that needs to be replenish more. But typically six to eight glasses a day, keeps the doctor away, in a way.
So it is important not to over water the system because it will dilute, it will basically make the kidneys remove too many minerals and vitamins that should be retained. The kidneys have the capacity, I remind you that the kidneys are very small organs, so they are capable of retaining and holding back and putting vitamins and minerals back into the circulation, but if you drink too much, then the kidneys can no longer do this properly and you will lose a lot more minerals and vitamins than you can replenish from the foods that you are eating.
So it is good to make sure that the urine stays colorful, that is does not completely look like water because then you may be drinking too much, but on the other hand, it should not turn dark yellow because that is how you know are not drinking enough. So that would be the best way of measuring, testing, whether you are drinking the right amounts. Make sure that there is some color, a yellowish color in the urine but do not allow it to go to dark yellow.
Otherwise I would not regulate the water intake by any other thing because once again there is a certain amount of toxins that the kidneys can get rid of, you cannot wash out cysts simply by drinking more water. But, you can dissolve kidney crystals and kidney stones and that is why I do recommend a kidney cleanse which is in my book ‘THE ‘AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH‘ and you can find the kidney cleanse tea at places like ‘PRESENTMOMENT.COM’, they are located in Minneapolis and they are already… they are putting the right amount of ingredients in the tea, they are mixing it up properly and it is ready to go… to be brewed at home and you can drink that for twenty-one days, one cup each day and that helps to dissolve crystals and stones of any kind. And that is one of the best things you can do.
The other thing you mentioned: lemon. Lemon is also excellent to break down crystals and stones in the kidneys and even in the gall bladder. It is good for calcified stones. So what the amount of lemon is, of course, it should be higher than just a slice of lemon a day. Ideally one or two or if you can, even more lemons per day, that you juice them, you can dilute it if you like, a little bit, but the more concentrated it is, the more effective it will be for breaking down crystals and kidney stones, kidney sand.
You’d be better off not to add anything, including honey, but for the first morning drink I always recommend to drink a glass of warm water to help rehydrate the kidneys and then drinking another glass of warm water with the lemon and that can be where you can add a whole lemon and a teaspoon of honey that would be fine but, then I would add another at least one or two lemons during the day that should be without any honey or sweetener, just on its own, as concentrated as possible, to dissolve the maximum amounts of crystals in a short time.
Asparagus Is another good food to take in large amounts during this time of helping to dissolve crystals, stones, impediments in the kidneys to allow the cysts to deflate and to be broken down. Again, cysts only develop only when there is obstruction, when there are impediments, when hormones no longer can regulate no more growth of cells, so congestion in the kidneys is best dealt with by removing crystals that have accumulated there and asparagus is a very potent crystal dissolver. And you can see the effect very quickly after eating asparagus, wait for an hour and then if you go and pass urine, you will find it becomes smelly already. So the asparagus enters the kidneys straight away after eating it, so it is very, very potent and a very powerful stone breaker. So I would then suggest he eats that on a day-to-day basis.
Apart from that, making sure not to eat animal proteins that can cause major kidney problems and cysts of any kind, not just in the kidneys, and to have more vegetarian food items, also be careful with cheese and cow’s milk because they also contribute to these kinds of issues including prostate problems and urinary tract difficulties.

One can even pass a 2cm stone during a Liver Flush
Hi, this is a question from someone who is concerned whether her two centimeter gallstone will come out for sure.
I cannot tell that your stone will come out for sure during a liver or gallbladder flush, but I can tell you from many thousands of people who had that kind of stone, that sized stone in the gallbladder, that it actually did come out. I personally had many such stones and mine came out during the liver flushes six and seven. My wife passed a stone that was fully calcified that came from the gall bladder and that was two and a half inches long and by an inch wide and that stone came out without any problem, from passing through the gall bladder and the common bile duct into the small and large intestine for excretion, however, when it came out from the anus that is when she felt some discomfort, almost pain, because the stone was very rugged, had sort of crystals structures on them on it and that created irritation just for the time of passing it. She felt like she gave birth to a rock. And so that is the only discomfort you might expect when the stone of that size passes, though the two centimeters is still very small comparatively.
I have seen in many people that these kinds of stones… they tend to sit in the gallbladder for a long time until other stones like the cholesterol stones, which you cannot see on an ultra sound, have come out first. In other words the gall bladder must be able to take in enough bile, there must be enough room , enough space for enough bile to come in so that these kinds of heavier stones sitting at the bottom of the gall bladder will eventually come out along with the bile. The bile itself is very oily so, if you do a liver flush you secrete a lot of bile that is prompted by ingesting the oil mixture, then, theses stones have an opportunity to come out without getting stuck in the common bile duct, without creating a gallstone attack, because the bile, the amount of bile that you secrete and the oiliness that it consists of is far too slippery for stones to have a chance to get stuck anywhere.
The other thing that prevents a gallstone attack from releasing these kinds of stones is that you take Epsom salts twice before you do the actual liver flush and then twice again in the morning to make sure you have at least like a twelve-fourteen hour time zone where any stones that are released cannot get stuck or what magnesium sulfite, the Epsom salt, or magnesium citrate does is that it keeps the bile ducts relaxed so that it is totally relaxed, so that any stone that passed through them will not get stuck because only when for example you eat a heavy meal and you have a gallstone passing from the gall bladder or from the bile ducts of the liver passing into the common bile duct, in that case, you could have a gallstone attack.
I had forty of such gallstone attacks, they are extremely painful. Many people feel so scared that they run to the emergency room and oftentimes doctors are taking out the gallbladder right away. I find this to be highly unnecessary, the pain itself helps eventually to wear out the common bile duct to the point that it relaxes itself and then typically the gall stone passes. But again it is very, very uncomfortable.
There are many things one can do. If you have a gallstone attack after eating a fatty meal, for example a steak or greasy meal, fried foods, eggs, which is typical instigator or prompter for having a gallstone attack, then you can drink a glass of Epsom salts, that is one tablespoon dissolved in a glass of water, and, drink that on an empty stomach, This typically relaxes the bile duct so that any trapped stone or stones can pass easily and quickly.
The other thing you can do is massage the small toes, the second and third toe on each foot very vigorously, really squeeze them hard and that can basically relax the gall bladder as well. There is a meridian that goes from… through the… gallbladder into the second smallest toe and by just massaging very strongly it can relax the gallbladder and the common bile duct as well so that the stone can pass.
There is another thing you can do if you had a gallstone attack is, put some warm apple cider vinegar, just soak a little hand towel in warm apple cider vinegar and hold it over the liver area and that can also relax the liver gall bladder and the common bile duct to release the stone.
The fourth thing you could do is drink a glass of or cup at least of red beet juice during the following meals, each meal, have a glass of that red beet juice and drink that slowly during the entire meal and that will also help out with any gallstone attacks a person might have.
But again doing liver flushes you do not have that because the liver flush is designed in a way that you cannot have a gallstone attack. It does the exact opposite, it prevents gallstone attacks. After my first liver flush, following these forty gall stones attacks I had over a number of years, I never had a gallstone attack again. So doing liver flushes is probably the best thing to prevent gallstone attacks and if you have a gallstone attack the guidelines I just have given you are probably the most effective ones and many people have followed them, they never had to go to the hospital and they were afterwards starting to do liver flushes and then had never a gallstone attack.

The liver secretes bile, which passes via the two hepatic ducts into the common hepatic duct. The common hepatic duct runs for 1.5 inches before being joined by the cystic duct coming from the gallbladder. Before bile continues its journey through the common bile duct into the intestinal tract, it must flow into the gallbladder.
The gallbladder is a pear-shaped pouch that protrudes from the bile duct. It is attached to the posterior side of the liver (see Figure 1).
A normal gallbladder generally holds about two fluid ounces of bile. The bile in the gallbladder, however, is not in the same form as it was when it left the liver. In the gallbladder there is such a great active reabsorption of salt and water that the volume of bile is reduced to only one tenth of its original quantity. Bile salts are not absorbed, which means, their concentration is increased by about ten times. However, mucus is added to the bile, which turns it into a thick mucus-like material. Its high concentration makes bile the powerful digestive fluid it is.
The muscular walls of the gallbladder contract and eject bile when acid food and protein products enter the duodenum from the stomach. A more marked activity is noted if food entering the duodenum contains a high proportion of fat. The bile salts in the bile are used to emulsify the fat and facilitate its digestion. Once the bile salts have done their job and left the emulsified fat for intestinal absorption, they travel on down the intestine. Most of the bile salts are reabsorbed in the final section of the small intestine and carried back to the liver. There it is collected again in the bile and secreted into the duodenum. (Note: Intestinal congestion sharply reduces the amount of bile salts needed for proper bile production and fat digestion.)
Figure 1: Location of the gallbladder
Gallstones may be primarily made of cholesterol or calcium or pigments such as bilirubin. Cholesterol is the most common constitution, but many of the stones are of mixed composition. Besides cholesterol, calcium and bile pigments, they may contain bile salts, water and mucus, as well as toxins, bacteria and, sometimes, dead parasites. Typically, stones within the gallbladder grow in size for about eight years before noticeable symptoms begin to occur. Larger stones are generally calcified and can be detected easily through radiological means, or by using ultrasonography. Eighty five percent of gallstones found in the gallbladder measure about 3/4 inch (2 centimeters) across (see Figure 2a), although some can become as large as 2-3 inches (6 centimeters) across (see Figures 2b and 2c of a calcified gallstone I personally examined and photographed moments after it was painlessly released by a client during her 9th liver cleanse; the stone emitted an extremely noxious odor). They are formed when, due to reasons explained in The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush, bile in the gallbladder becomes too saturated, and its unabsorbed constituents begin to harden.
If a gallstone does slip out of the gallbladder and becomes impacted in the cystic bile duct or common bile duct, there is very strong spasmodic contraction of the wall of the duct. The contraction helps to move the stone onwards. This causes severe pain known as biliary colic and is accompanied by considerable distension of the gallbladder. If the gallbladder is packed with gallstones, it also goes into extremely painful spasmodic muscle contractions.
Figure 2a: Gallstones in a dissected gallbladder
Gallstones can cause irritation and inflammation of the lining of the gallbladder, as well as the cystic and common bile ducts. This condition is known as cholecystitis. There may also be superimposed microbial infection. Ulceration of the tissues between the gallbladder and the duodenum or colon, with fistula formation and fibrous adhesions, is not uncommon. Gallbladder disease generally originates in the liver. When liver lobules become structurally distorted due to presence of gallstones and, eventually, fibrous tissue, venous blood pressure starts to rise in the portal vein. This, in turn, increases the blood pressure in the cystic vein that drains venous blood from the gallbladder into the portal vein. The incomplete elimination of waste products through the cystic duct causes a backup of acidic waste in the gallbladder tissue. This gradually reduces the performance of the gallbladder. The formation of gallstones is just a matter of time.

Linda Tierney: You are very welcome and today we are going to be focusing on mostly the book ‘THE AMAZING LIVER CLEANSE’. What can you tell us about your background?
Andreas Moritz: I was born I Germany in 1954 and my life was very bumpy to begin with because I suffered major illnesses such as juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and, I fainted every couple of weeks in the middle of places like church, post offices and had chronic headaches, chronic constipation, severe gastrointestinal problems and arrhythmia as a child; so I was suffering so much that I had to look for solutions to these problems, quite from an early childhood stage onwards.
Linda Tierney: So your interest in health was based upon a need, an all personal need ?
Andreas Moritz: Yes, yes. Doctors couldn’t help me. So traditional doctors failed to do anything about it, it never disappeared, in fact, it went worse. So gradually I had to dig up old books which I found in my mother’s library and she was always very interested in…
Linda Tierney: At what age did you start your search?
Andreas Moritz: I started to look at these things from age twelve …
Linda Tierney: Wow!
Andreas Moritz: I studied the digestive system at age twelve and I was fascinated by that because it gave me so many clues about my problems and once I started shifting, changing my diet and some of the things I was doing to cause all those problems, they disappeared. and I gradually discovered ways to health which would be applicable to a lot of people as well.
Linda Tierney: Great. And now could you tell us about the liver, the function of the liver and the importance of cleansing the liver?
Andreas Moritz: Yes. The liver is of course one of the major organs in the body and it’s the factory, the most important factory, which is not just producing the enzymes for the digestive system, cleansing the blood but it regulates basically the entire metabolism, distribution of energy, throughout the body. If there is anything wrong in the body, you can always relate it back to the liver. And that’s what I found in my research. I have been working in this field for thirty two years and I have not found a single terminal illness where people did not have congestion, severe congestion, in the liver bile ducts.
Linda Tierney: That is what amazed me when I read the book is that so many diseases were related to the liver… I had no idea…
Andreas Moritz: Yes. Yes. And that is something of course that I have learned over the course of many, many years that people have been cleansing their livers, their bile ducts in particular, they found that these problems disappeared as they were continuing to cleanse their liver and of course I emphasis other things as well, not just cleansing the liver because if you eat foods which have a very congesting effect, then that can cause more congesting again in the liver and of course in the other organs of elimination such as the kidneys and the colon foremost of all.
Linda Tierney: And you suggest colonics before and after the liver cleanse is very important…
Andreas Moritz: Absolutely, absolutely. Because when you clean the liver, and I will show a couple of pictures later on if that is ok, there are so many stones coming out and they pass of course through the gastro-intestinal system. So they come out through the large intestine and people who have unclean colons, they will, you know harbor some of the stones that come out and they hold their health back and then of course causes, you know, some infection in some cases or it can just make you feel unwell because these toxins and these bacteria going around the system over and over and that can cause some side effects
Linda Tierney: And these stones that come out of the liver are very toxic…?
Andreas Moritz: Extremely toxic
Linda Tierney: So if they get stuck in the colon that is bad news?
Andreas Moritz: Yes, you can tell that from smelling stones when they come out. Most of these stones they float in the toilet you can look at them, you can take them out if you like. The color is like this here is, any other green leaves; bright green color and some of them are very, very dark. They can be black, they can have, some are whitish beige. But whatever they are they are quite toxic because when the liver is blocked, when these bile ducts are congested, then the liver is unable to remove its toxins properly and the liver is the foremost detoxifying organ and it filters the blood constantly, so every time you have some toxins retained in the liver, they attached themselves onto the bile, you know, stones, to these bile clots or gallstones and that of course is a great disadvantage because the liver you know has to stop doing that work and some of these toxins keep circulating throughout the body and they get deposited in other areas such as connective tissues, the tissue making up every soft organs, even the harder tissues like bone tissue, so you can have joint problems, you can have severe lymphatic congestion after that and then you have water retention and you put on weight so, most of the people who have weight, excessive weight in the body, they have toxins deposited in various areas of the body which means that in order to keep them neutral at least for the time being, the body has to hold on to water. Water is a neutralizing agent and so, they hold on to a lot of extra weight and they think its fat, but it is only very little fat most of it is water or lymph congested you know, lymph fluids.
Linda Tierney: So a person then by cleansing their liver, could, lose a lot of water weight then?
Andreas Moritz: Absolutely, absolutely. When the liver is clean then it is very difficult to be overweight.
Linda Tierney: Ooh, that is great.
Andreas Moritz: very, very difficult because metabolism is at its normal range, the digestive ability which is controlled by the liver is increasing so the same food which might have caused you to gain weight before after your liver is clean will mean that you will actually get energy from that food rather than convert it into fat or waste product and so your body is getting cleaner and cleaner, it loses that waste and that water which is keeping these toxins neutral.
Linda Tierney: Great, great news for a lot of people…
Andreas Moritz: Absolutely, absolutely. And it is not just about losing weight because many people say “I just want to lose weight so I look better”, but, having extra weight means that the digestive system is not functioning properly and that’s the harbinger of major illnesses in the future. Most cancers which I have studied and researched, they are related to the problems in the digestive system. I could go a little bit into detail about that because it is such a common illness today. Cancer and heart diseases, all those diseases which we commonly refer to, they are basically diseases of congestion and liver plays the foremost role in that. Once the liver is congested then all the other organs can start to get blocked up as well.
Linda Tierney: So it sounds like anyone with a disease could really benefit or, or, the other way they can really benefit from a liver cleanse. How about a person who is feeling very healthy, could they also benefit from cleansing the liver?
Andreas Moritz: Absolutely, there is always a need for more energy, better sleep, just feeling better about oneself, about one’s emotional health because what I found over the years, those who have cleaned, cleansed, their liver and they don’t have any gallstones left in the bile ducts of their liver, they also don’t get angry anymore, and that’s a great, wonderful characteristic to have, to always be at peace with oneself and one’s surroundings and other people. Because gallstones, they, block the bile flow and it is known in traditional medicine, even people saying “you have a bilious nature”. You are angry, the bile is overflowing. It cannot actually leave the liver. It is trapped. And when something is trapped in the body you feel trapped and that is frustration, and the frustration builds up and it turns into anger. So there is a lot of emotional benefit from cleansing the liver.
Linda Tierney: Yes and I have gone on three liver cleanses since I talked to you in January and it is amazing. I also being a colon hydro therapist, I see a lot of people coming in, getting colonics who have gone on this liver cleanse also and a lot of us, well, myself and others do experience some anger feelings directly after the liver cleanse and I just find that fascinating, in fact one woman reported crying all afternoon. It just seems to be, very related to the emotions.
Andreas Moritz: Yes. Emotions are not really stuck in the body as such. They are stuck in the blockages like the gallstones in the liver or kidney stones in the kidneys cause a lot of fear. So once you put people on the kidney cleanses which is another important thing to do in life. as you eat certain foods and you live in the polluted environment and you get stressed over things, and after a while you start collecting these items in the body and they are not really useful items, they don’t belong in the body and because they don’t belong in the body they are foreign and the body gets afraid if you have blockages. The body is a circulatory mechanism basically. It is a process. The body is not a fixed frozen sculpture where you can take things out and put new things in without fueling the emotional drainage from that. So if people have fear in their lives you can bet that their kidneys are not functioning that well and if when they clean them out, then fear can be released as well and maybe they are releasing being even afraid after a cleanse like that. But that does not happen too often.
Linda Tierney: And it is very short you know.
Andreas Moritz: Yes. Yes.
Linda Tierney: It is like just like a day of noticing some angry feelings coming up at the very initial cleanse. I know this is got to be related.
Andreas Moritz: And afterwards you feel so much better.
LINDA TIERNEY: Yes. Yes. Now in this book ‘THE AMAZING LIVER CLEANSE’ you also had have a recipe for a kidney bladder cleanse.
Andreas Moritz: yes. There is a kidney bladder cleanse in there that releases… actually it does not release the stones as such, it dissolves the stones and that is very important for the kidneys because you do not want to release, flush them out like through the gall bladder or liver, because that is fairly painless if it happens in the liver but you do not want to flush out stones because they can get stuck in these tiny ureter ducts and that can cause a lot of back pain, which incidentally is mostly related to crystals breaking free from the kidneys and getting suck in the ureter walls and causing rupturing in that area and that is very painful so there are so many, millions of people in this country who have low back pain, and low back pain is such an easy thing to clear if you know where it comes from, but many people have to you know, they have operations for these kind of things and there is no relief for that.
Linda Tierney: Or they just suffer with lower back pain for years and years and years.
Andreas Moritz: yes like I did. You know I had chronic back pain so, until I really cleared out my system I had all these pains everywhere. I had forty gallbladder attacks before I managed to find ways to clear these gallstones painlessly and effortlessly, basically from the liver and gallbladder, and I passed three and a half thousand stones and as a little boy I know I had gallstones from age six. My uncle who was a leading iridologist, iridology is the science of eye interpretation. You look a person into the eyes and you can see in the structure of the iris changes that occur in a person’s organ systems or in the circulation or wherever in the body and they show up in the eyes and you can see discoloration or structural changes and so he saw straightaway and he said you have stones in the liver and at that time, of course, (conventional) medicine had no clue that there could be stones in the liver. Today they are called intra hepatic stones but they are rarely recognized, so, doctors don’t look for them.
Linda Tierney: They are rarely recognized and extremely common as I understand.
Andreas Moritz: Extremely common. It is one of the most common things, as I have seen thousands and thousands of people with all kinds of illnesses from very simple things like pain in the knees which, people never associate with the liver but it is very closely related to the liver. So when the stones are cleared in the liver the pain in the knee disappears. It is a wonderful thing for the person who suffers from this kind of problem because you know he cannot walk properly obviously it is just a knee it is out there, it has nothing to do with what’s happening in here, but it has. And that is something that only comes with experience. Seeing people, taking them on these cleanses, changing their diet so it is really supporting their psycho physiological body type and their particular needs and their ability to digest depends on the liver function, of course, and that’s hardly ever being discussed in a doctor’s office unfortunately.
Linda Tierney: Well, cleansing the liver is so inexpensive and really very easy.
Andreas Moritz: Yes.
Linda Tierney: Could you talk like, if any, liver cleanse is it not just a onetime thing. Could you go into that?
Andreas Moritz: Yes. Of course, you have, maybe I can even show a picture
Linda Tierney: Sure
Andreas Moritz: …of stones that are, so that it is more practical, this is the liver and, if you can focus on that there are tiny, tiny bile ducts which are in the liver cells, surrounding the liver cells so, the liver cells produce bile which is an alkaline substance. It is green and it contains ninety five, you know, it is basically made of cholesterol ninety five percent and there are some bile salts and bile pigment I believe even some other substances, as well as water of course, and other salts and these cells they produce the bile and pass it into larger bile ducts until the bile is coming out of the liver and is moving into the gall bladder and from there once food has moved into the stomach and is ready to pass into the first section of the small intestine. The gall bladder is squeezing the bile into the small intestine, and that’s where the main digestion takes place. That’s where you, when the food is coming through into the small intestine, you need the bile in order to raise the ph value from acidic food content to a more alkaline food content. And then the pancreas here kind of release pancreatic enzymes which are needed to breakdown the food into smaller possible components like fructose, glucose, vitamins, hormones, basic trace minerals. So basically all of this process can only take place when your bile flow is appropriate. If you don’t make enough bile which most people know they don’t, instead of making a quart and a half of bile a day, most people make just a cupful.
Linda Tierney: And why? What makes so they are not making enough bile?
Andreas Moritz: Because of the blockage of the bile ducts.
Linda Tierney: Okay.
Andreas Moritz: These bile clots or gallstones they block the bile flow so there is not enough bile coming out and of course sometimes you have also gall stones in the gall bladder that does not give the gall bladder enough space to accommodate the bile coming in from the liver and that would mean that when the food comes through you do not have enough bile. And bile is so essential… what came out of you and how much you could harbor in this organ (your liver) which is on the right side of your body. It is a very large organ and in fact most people think it is just a little organ but it is huge.
Linda Tierney: About how much does it weigh?
Andreas Moritz: It ah, a couple of pounds and ah, two and a half pounds so it is very large and it can weigh a lot more if you have a lot of stones
Linda Tierney: Right, you want it to weigh about two pounds.
Andreas Moritz: It spans the entire width of the higher abdomen so it is very – very large and this is a very good picture to show basically the proportions. And if the liver is blocked, after it expands and becomes larger and it affects the breathing so it presses against the diaphragm and then the diaphragm does not have the opportunity to go lower and so you do not have enough breath and so a lot of breathing difficulties come from congestion in the liver. There are many other problems like in your case when you clean people’s colon, if the liver is blocked you don’t digest food properly your digestive ability is so little that you start clogging up your lower intestines and that is where colon problems come from. So colon problems are directly related to impaired liver function and then these kind of knots, you know deposits of waste matter they sit there in the colon walls, they get attached to the colon walls and that can cause obstruction in the colon, sometimes even spastic colon which is a contraction of the colon and, when that happens everything that is moving downwards, the food moving downwards and some waste products which are generated from near passing through foods which could not be digested they get stuck here, in some cases this is called constipation that many people they have regular bowel movements and they still have a waste retention and it is like a dam that is created there, and there is a backing up of a lot of waste which then actually moves up through the small intestine and it can move up into the stomach, it can come up yeah, through, into the throat area and I have had, honestly I’ve seen people who brought up thicker matter from the mouth. And usually that is associated with very bad breath; a lot of people have bad breath and it is something that is not very nice.
Linda Tierney: Well by that time they are very sick anyway. Very sick. Yeah.
Andreas Moritz: Yes. That can be released quickly like with the colonic and of course through the liver cleanses and cleaning out the body like that and then taking care of some very easy dietary measures because a lot of people they eat foods which they are so intolerant to that the body is just fighting its and is losing its strength and its power and it gets even more and more blocked because what happens if you do not digest food properly your entire lymph system gets blocked up. And that is another subject which you know we could go into in a little bit because it is fascinating, it relates to so many health problems
Linda Tierney: The lymph system is also very key to good health.
Andreas Moritz: It is. And the lymph system is again related to liver function. If the liver does not work properly and if you do not have enough bile flow you get lymph congestion and the lymph congestion takes place mostly here on the central part of the small intestine that’s where, I have got a diagram actually of the lymphatic system, I am going to pick a couple of pictures also of gallstones to look at in a minute. If you can focus on that for a moment we have tiny lymph ducts in the body everywhere like in the hands in this case here or in the feet and these lymph ducts they are parallel to the blood vessels and these lymph ducts they drain the connective tissue, that tissues which surrounds the cells from metabolic waste. Every single cell in the body receives nutrients and has to release metabolic waste. At the same time we have sixty to one hundred trillion cells in the body and every day you turn over about thirty billion cells. That means you have to create thirty billion new cells and you have to destroy thirty billion old cells. And when you destroy thirty billion old cells you have to remove them and if you do not remove them properly and the lymph system is in charge of that, then you have localized congestion and if that is building up then you develop diseases. What we call disease, that is basically just a blockage. And the lymph system is such a powerful system, it is working all over the body and every part of the body is connected with every other part in the body through the lymphatic system, so it is a huge network which for example drains the fingers, so all the waste, the metabolic waste, and the dead cells, cellular debris, damaged cells are removed through that and they are passed on into lymph nodes and these lymph nodes detoxify this lymph fluid with all that debris and those toxins and as they are reaching this area here in the central part of the body and that’s basically where all that goes and it ends up in these sacks and they are called cisterna chyli. So these lymph sacks or cisterna chyli, they are making sure that every toxin is being cleared there is a lot of immune activity there, so there are lots of immune cells and they are destroying any harmful substances there and then afterwards this lymph fluid is moving up in this duct, in this green duct. Most of it is moving up in this green duct and it moves right up to your throat and it moves into the right side of the heart into the blood circulation again. So once if you have a blockage here in this cisterna chyli, and remember this is exactly where your digestive system is located so if you don’t digest food properly then these, these lymph sacs they get overtaxed. They start filling up with a lot of toxins from the undigested foods particularly proteins; undigested proteins are called degenerated proteins, they are damaged and are not useful for the body, but they thicken the lymph fluid. They make it very thick, gel like and then, it congests the lymph flow and that where the major problems occur so then there is a blockage occurring all around in the thoracic belt and that means the side ducts which try to empty their waste from different parts of the body they cannot do that anymore then we have localized disturbances for example, breast cancer is related to lymph congestion in the lymph nodes of the breast glands. Okay, that is basically what is responsible for the breast cancer.
Linda Tierney: Wow and that’s very common nowadays…
Andreas Moritz: Yes very common. And when I trace it back when someone comes to me and has breast cancer and, I can trace it back exactly to congestion in the abdomen in the, where the belly button is and basically there is a swelling there, and that means it is swollen up to a point like a, balloon shape and is causing so much congestion there is no flow there is no flow of lymph in the thoracic duct that means they have localized congestion here so what happens is that the, the cells in the breasts for example they cannot release their metabolic wastes because there is no more drainage so they have to hold on to the metabolic waste and as they do that they surround themselves with these toxic substances after a while there is no more oxygen coming in there. And then the oxygen cannot come in there then the cells have to mutate, that means, they turn cancerous. And if you, if you gave them oxygen they would either die or they would again turn into friendly cells. And so the lymph system is responsible for keeping that management steady and fluent so that makes sure that you always have enough oxygen coming in there but if the lymph system is blocked right down here then you would eventually have a blockage up here.
Andreas Moritz: Oh for me it has been a great experience seeing people with every kind of illness and so what I found was that there are no illnesses as such, disease is in my point of view and my experience, a survival mechanism that your body is creating in order to prevent something worse from happening that already has happened. So when I look at cancer I do not look at it as a vicious disease. I look at it as a very powerful last minute survival mechanism. And what it does actually, the cancer prevents these toxins which are trapped in the tissues, it starts to dissolve some of them, it starts to neutralizes them and it is like, you know, that cancer cells they live off lactic acid for example which is a byproduct of metabolism. It is a waste product which can be extremely harmful if it keeps staying in healthy tissue and so the cancer cells they devour it, they live off it, they take energy from it and so they take it out of that surrounding and some other extremely poisonous substances which cancer cells neutralize.
Linda Tierney: So…
Andreas Moritz: So the cancer is actually preventing these toxins from going into the blood stream which could cause septic poisoning and kill the person in three days’ time, with the cancer it allows you to live sometimes for years.
Linda Tierney: Yeah
Andreas Moritz: Of course you have the opportunity during that time to clean out your liver make sure that it is completely clean, that improves your digestion, your lymph flow is guaranteed that you have proper lymph drainage from every part of your body and the swelling wherever it is in the lymph nodes, it will start to go down and that helps to remove the metabolic waste again from the cells from the cellular areas and free the cells, and the cells can again breathe, breathe oxygen rather than other waste products.
Linda Tierney: So the problem with the clogged lymph starts with the liver being blocked ?
Andreas Moritz: Yes and you see most people when they talk about weight gain, where does it start? It starts right here, under the belly button and so that is why you complain… oh I am putting on a tummy here. And…
Linda Tierney: Red alert actually. Should be a red alert for somebody.
Andreas Moritz: And that should be the first sign of malfunction of digestive system and liver function and if that is noted by a person then he would look for ways to clear that and it is so easy to do. And I would be so happy if this technique, the liver cleanse, would go into the hospitals where people could recover so much more quickly from all sorts of illnesses. And I have seen them receiving on a daily basis, hundreds of messages from all over the world, and people who are claiming it saved their lives, they do not have the cancer any more, they have recovered from heart disease. Their heart actually after having had a heart attack completely recovered and there is no sign of damage after they have cleansed the liver. This is remarkable, so millions of people dying from heart diseases and it’s totally unnecessary, needlessly.
Linda Tierney: Now tell us how many different liver cleanses would a person need to go on? How would they know when they are done? When is it that the liver has cleansed?
Andreas Moritz: Obviously the liver is only clean when no more stones are coming out. So I would go that far. There are people who have done six cleanses and their liver was clean and then there are other people like myself I had to do twelve but I had so many stones. Not that that is something rare, lot of people have that kind of number of stones. But then someone just like, you know my partner, actually my partner passed very large gallstones after, during the ninth cleanse and I have a picture here and it is quite fascinating and so these stones, they look like that, if you can zoom in there. These are green, typical green stones that come out of the liver and some are beige colour. This is a calcified stone, which is partially calcified, it exists only in the gall bladder so also the gallbladder stones are coming out when you do the liver cleanse. These are mixture of different kinds of stones that came out through one elimination and so there is some green in there, there’s is some beige in there, some reddish pink ones and then, this is a gallbladder here which is completely packed with stones and had to be removed but I have had many, many people who have had that kind of situation.
Linda Tierney: So a person could have that many gallstones in their liver but they would not have to be removed, they could go on a cleanse?
Andreas Moritz: My liver was, my gallbladder was packed completely and it was constantly overflowing so I had these kinds of stones coming out involuntarily and they were trapped in my bile duct, because when you do a liver cleanse you don’t feel them coming out they pass painlessly because there is a lot of bile coming out and bile is very, very oily so they come out like you know pulling out a ring from your finger when you put oil on it and it comes out very easily.
Linda Tierney: What are these stones made out of?
Andreas Moritz: This particular one is a gallstone typically coming from the gall bladder, not from the liver. The liver ones are basically green ones which we have just shown before so they are dark green or sometimes lighter green and sort of beige color. This one was is, had totally calcified and that’s what my partner released at her ninth cleanse and this was about two and a half inches long and about one and a half inches wide and when that came out, it just passed out basically painlessly, but it felt like a proper bowel movement and when I took it out and i looked at it and I dissected it, it was completely calcified so I cut it into two pieces and the smell that this kind of stone emanates is unbelievable. You would never have smelled something like that before… it is horrendous actually, and the material that it comes from, is very poisonous.
Linda Tierney: Yes, sounds very toxic.
Andreas Moritz: So keeping that in the gallbladder is a quite a very, a traumatic experience for the body. So when this particular stone came out, there were a lot of stones coming out afterwards, about hundreds of them they were equally calcified. She literally had, the entire gall bladder which is, a gall bladder is about that size, the entire gall bladder which had been filled with these stones was emptied, and from that day on she never had any pain in her body anymore. Like within twenty-four hours all the pain disappeared and a lot of other things can of course, happen. The whole body can rejuvenate. You, can, the aging process can be stopped, even reversed, and any of these aches and pains in the body – you don’t have to bother about that. The stiffness disappears very quickly in the body wherever, whether it is in your feet or whether it is in your head, like all the neck pain which she had for all those years of her life disappeared. I am a shiatsu practitioner, one of my other jobs that I do is by touching the meridians, the energy ducts, in the body which you treat in acupuncture and, they can be extremely painful and, she had a lot of pain throughout the body whenever I touched any of those areas and now I cannot find the spot which is painful, and that really shows that so many problems are coming from there. Rheumatoid arthritis is a typical illness and I had suffered from that and, I couldn’t even lift a spoon to eat my food as a child, and clearing the liver is just a wonderful thing to help sufferers of all kinds of diseases.
Linda Tierney: It sure sounds like it. Wow! Now what are the different stones, what makes up these stones from the gall bladder?
Andreas Moritz: Yes the stones are typically made of trapped cholesterol, cholesterol crystals. Cholesterol comes in two forms, the cholesterol occurs in crystals where it has to be dissolved or has to be made liquid, soluble and for that the body needs bile salts. And the bile salts come from the small intestine and into the liver and the liver is then making these cholesterol crystals into the liquid form which then becomes bile and then, the bile helps to release toxins from the liver and also is the principle digestive aid to allow all of digestive processes to take place properly and a lot of other things like keeping the colon clean. If there isn’t enough bile, the colon gets clogged out and food is sticky and sticks to the intestinal walls so, the bile makes sure that this does not happen so it is a very good preventive aid to keep the colon clean.
Linda Tierney: And the reason these are so toxic is because they have been in the body for so long and …
Andreas Moritz: They are toxic because a lot of bacteria, the liver is trying to get rid of toxins and neutralize a lot of harmful things, that bacteria coming into the liver, they have parasites coming into the liver, and if they all try to be detoxified and be eliminated through the bile and then excrete it through the normal bowel movement. So if these stones are sitting there, they hold up the elimination of toxins and these bacteria and parasites and parasitic eggs and so all that can get trapped in these stones so, there is a lot of poison that is generated from these bacteria because they are trying to break down some of that mass of stone and of course that produces a lot of toxic smells and putrefaction and it is a very unpleasant thing to keep in the body and some people say, well, its, “I do not want to do this again, this was disgusting what came out there”, but it is far more disgusting keeping those things in the body, trapped in the body which is not supposed to have these stones sitting there for twenty, thirty, forty years.
Linda Tierney: Exactly. Very important information for people to realize about the liver and how it cleanses what it can do for your body and the overall health.
