This is a question about people that have been paralyzed or crippled, bedridden, whether there are ways to take some load off their liver, because they obviously… one cannot move the body, the body’s ability to rid itself of toxins and waste products is diminished, and the liver tends to be the organ that accumulates toxins and waste matter, often producing intra-hepatic gallstones which is the liver’s way to trap or hold on to toxins and waste products in order to keep the rest of the body from being damaged by them.
The issue is obviously difficult in this case, but there are some methods or approaches that can take the toxic load off the liver and these obviously include a diet that is not contaminating the body. So using organic foods and drinking enough water, which is absolutely important in all ways for detoxifying the body.
So the foods that are best avoided and that are difficult for any person who is paralyzed, is food like meat products – very hard to digest for people paralyzed – chicken, fish, any high protein foods – and foods that are processed, refined, that have diminished nutritious value. So I will go on a vegan vegetarian diet in order to minimize the toxic load on the liver.
Eating healthy fats, fats that have not been processed, refined, that are whole, like olive oil, expeller pressed oils, natural oils that have not been heated. Canola oil is an unnatural, genetically modified oil that must be avoided.
Eating healthy salts so that these are not refined salts, these are natural sea salts or rock salts like Himalayan rock salt, or salt from Utah mountains, beautiful real salts, there is a name for it: ‘Real salt’ but any natural sea salt that doesn’t come from an area of contamination of the sea, these are very, very good salts and they help with the detoxification of the liver as well. Many people reduce salts because regular salts are toxic, they change the blood pressure, they should definitely be avoided, they are very, very harmful for the liver.
Then anything that can support the liver directly like the liver herbs, the tea that I mentioned in my book “The Amazing Liver And Gallbladder Flush”, that is something that helps with a gentle liver detoxification and allowing the liver to remove toxins. Obviously the tea cannot remove the intra-hepatic gallstones that impact the liver bile ducts, and paralyzed people may not be able to do liver flushes. So in that regard, there is some limit to as much a person can do, but again one can regulate the functions in the liver by reducing the amount of toxic foods or harmful foods.
Also, I would suggest to if possible to do either enemas, ideally however doing colonic irrigation or colemas to also reduce the load of toxins that may come from the large intestine because if waste matter is sitting in the large intestine for too long, a lot of toxins are generated by bacteria that decompose the undigested food sitting there for too long, and these toxins they end up going into the liver and then again overtaxing the liver.
So natural ways, whatever works… I have written a book called “Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation” and most of the things mentioned there applied to people who are paralyzed just as much to a person who isn’t paralyzed, such as sleeping regular hours, making sure you go to bed before 10 o’clock, this helps the liver to remain strong because the liver works most during the night time more than any other time in the 24 hour cycle. So between 10 and 2 – that’s when the liver requires most blood, it can get in order to remove toxins from the bloodstream and when you sleep during this time, the liver is able to get that blood from the back of the brain, the digestive system and the rest of the tissues in the body, such as the muscle tissue, and this allows the liver to directly work with the blood, to filter the blood, remove contaminants, so that the next day you have cleaner blood, and you have a better chance of transporting nutrients to the cells in the body which is diminished when the blood is toxic, or has more waste products in it because the liver was not able to remove that during night time. This is very important.
Also, staying or going out in the sun, having someone to take you into the sun, taking the shirt off, very important for people who are paralyzed in order to keep the immune system as strong as possible, so that enough vitamin D can also help with the cardiovascular functions and the nutrient uptake, particularly minerals from the food that the person is eating. So vitamin D is absolutely essential, unfortunately many paralyzed individuals are indoors, they don’t go out, they don’t sit in the sun, they don’t sunbathe, and this is a very detrimental and it prevents the recovery or more speedy recovery from paralysis.
I don’t believe that paralysis is permanent.
In many cases the paralysis has been reversed and people have completely regained the functions of the limbs even though the medical profession and doctors have told them they would never regain functions of their body. So there are examples that paralysis is reversible and this should be an incentive, an inspiration, for others who are also paralyzed to follow suit and do their best to regain the functions, and nature around us has very powerful benefits if we use it to our advantage.
Sunlight, good fresh air, good drinking water, proper hydration – drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water a day and eating healthy nourishing food… this goes a long, long way to strengthen the body and allow the body to repair itself from any damage that may have occurred as a result of paralysis, so that the body can regain strength and start healing itself.
Thank you.

This is a question about anger and rage and how anger and rage stem from an unhealthy, clogged liver.
That is a very good one because I, over the years having helped many people, millions of people around the world, to do liver flushes and I get feedback from them. In my own case, I did have frustration and anger in me when my liver bile ducts were completely clogged up and my gallbladder was clogged up, and people who have a clogged liver or gallbladder tend to be angry and frustrated, sometimes the anger is turned into depression.
So what I found over the years is that when people cleaned out their liver and gallbladder, they find themselves to be less angry or completely without any anger once the liver is completely cleaned out. And this was my experience. After my liver was completely clean, I couldn’t find a reason to become angry about and so this was a very fascinating experience for me, and I have seen it in many, many thousands of people who also followed the same path, cleaned out their liver.
There is a saying that a person has a bilious nature, he is an angry person. That means when bile is overflowing or rather backwashing into the bloodstream and this happens when the bile ducts are clogged up, the liver is no longer able to remove toxins form the blood, noxious substances, and once they are in the blood, that itself can create irritation and anger, frustration, in the body because these emotions, they are physical messages that the body is sending us, emotions, energy… emotion and energy are always related to the body, we cannot have emotions without the physical body. So when the body is not getting enough nourishment because the liver bile ducts are clogged and nutrients are not passed to the cells in the body in sufficient quantities, then there is not enough glucose or oxygen or other nutrients made available to these cells and the cells become frustrated. They diminish some of their functions and when the functions are suppressed then the body cannot be happy, and when the body is not happy, and the opposite of happiness is anger. So we naturally become frustrated or angry when these cells are not getting enough nourishment.
Bile itself, when it moves in the wrong pathway, when it moves into the blood instead of out through the bile ducts into the small and large intestine where they help with the digestion of foods and elimination of toxins and waste matter, when the bile ducts washes into the blood even in small amounts, it creates irritation. So that is what when we refer to a bilious nature, a person who has overflowing bile, it’s just not coming out of the body, and so this is a very central part.
We also know that people who have liver issues, they are angry, very many people who have liver issues are known to be angry, and that’s why liver and anger go together.
The liver also contributes chi or life force throughout the body and this is the prana, chi, life force that the Chinese medicine refers to, or the medicine of Ayurveda, and once that diminishes again the person becomes very frustrated and he’s just running out of energy, you don’t have the enthusiasm, the joy, the happiness that you need to live your life successfully and therefore it goes into the opposite… your life becomes less successful, less joyful, less happy, and less peaceful and that automatically puts you into the category of frustration, anger, sadness, fear. all those qualities. These are emotional responses by the body that shows that the body is congested, that the liver is not functioning very well.
So I hope this gives you an idea that puts us back into the understanding that cleaning out the liver is very important.

Hi, this is from a person who is suffering from inflamed gallbladder and doctors urgently told her that the gallbladder should be removed and that she has to do that very quickly.
I personally cannot give you advice, medical advice, to remove the gallbladder or keep it, either way, there are things that have worked for many people including myself. I suffered from chronic gallbladder inflammation and so I can only speak for myself here, and for those who did the liver and gallbladder flushes to rescue or save their gallbladder, and it worked. It definitely worked for me, I suffered from over 40 gallstone attacks before I did my first liver flush and I never had a gallstone attack again. And my gallbladder was packed full, the walls were enlarged, that means inflamed. So I did the liver and gallbladder flush even though I did have pain in that area and chronic inflammation.
Typically, I recommend that one doesn’t do a liver and gallbladder flush when there is inflammation, but again, it worked for me, and it might work for you, or it might not. So I cannot really tell you whether it will or it won’t.
However, you asked a question also whether taking Epsom salts might be of value here, and once again I have seen many people who suffered from gallstone attacks, by taking a glass of Epsom salts, that is a tablespoon of Epsom salts in a glass of water on an empty stomach has greatly alleviated the pain and there was a study actually that has shown that, a couple of years ago that, in fact, Epsom salts have been proven to do this, and they found that people with… who suffered from an obstruction in the common bile duct or the gallbladder, that they relieved that obstruction painlessly and were able to recover from it and it’s very, very effective. Magnesium sulphate should definitely be used and that has been recommended by the researchers in that study to relax and dilate the bile ducts, so that any obstructions inside them can easily move on, and that will allow you to reduce the inflammation in the gallbladder as well, and allow you then to resume or start with a series of liver flushes to clear out any stones, in the liver particularly, and also in the gallbladder.
And this would be my preferred approach, at the same time, make sure during this transitional period to follow the diet that I recommend in my book “The Amazing Liver And Gallbladder Flush” or “Timeless Secrets Of Health And Rejuvenation” so that you don’t incur another gallstone attack. Eggs, cheese, milk, fish – these are foods you definitely should avoid or any fried foods or deep fried foods, very fatty foods should be avoided during this time so that you will recover from this swiftly and effectively.
Hope this will help you and you can forget about having such an important organ removed which otherwise you… when it’s removed can give you a lot of problems. You can find out a lot of people who unfortunately have their gallbladder removed, complaining about numerous problems or having the same problems as they had before that never go away even after their gallbladder has been removed, and doctors told them this will solve all their problems.

Our body contains three types of joints: fibrous or fixed joints, cartilaginous or slightly movable joints, and synovial or freely movable joints. The most susceptible to disease are the joints of the hands, feet, knees, shoulders, elbows, and hips. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and gout are among the most commonly found joint disorders.
Rheumatoid arthritis
Most people stricken with rheumatoid arthritis have a long history of intestinal complaints: bloating, flatulence, heartburn, belching, constipation, diarrhea, coldness and swelling of hands and feet, increased perspiration, general fatigue, loss of appetite, weight reduction, and more. It is reasonable, therefore, to conclude that rheumatoid arthritis is linked with any of these, or similar, symptoms of major intestinal and metabolic disturbances. I have personally experienced all the symptoms mentioned above when I suffered painful bouts of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis during my childhood years.
The gastro-intestinal (GI) tract is constantly exposed to a large number of viruses, bacteria, and parasites. In addition to the many antigens (foreign material) contained in foods, the digestive system may also have to deal with insecticides, pesticides, hormones, antibiotic residues, preservatives, and colorings contained in so many foodstuffs today, as well as some large-molecule drugs such as penicillin. Possible antigens include pollen from flowers, plants, plant antibodies, fungi, bacteria, and the like. It is the task of the immune system, most of which is located in the intestinal wall,to protect us against all these potentially harmful invaders and substances. To be able to accomplish this task every day, both the digestive and lymphatic systems must remain unobstructed and efficient. Gallstones in the liver seriously disturb the digestive process, which leads to an overload of toxic substances in the blood and lymph.
Arthritis
Doctors consider arthritis an autoimmune disease affecting the synovial membrane. Autoimmunity, a condition in which the immune system develops immunity to its own cells, results when antigen/antibody complexes (rheumatoid factors) are formed in the blood. Naturally, the B-lymphocytes (immune cells) in the intestinal wall become stimulated and produce antibodies (immunoglobulins) when coming into contact with these antigens. The immune cells circulate in the blood, and some settle in the lymph nodes, spleen, mucus membranes of the salivary glands, lymphatic system of the bronchial tubes, vagina or uterus, milk-producing mammary glands of the breasts, and capsular tissues of the joints.
If there is repeated exposure to the same types of toxic antigens, antibody production will increase dramatically, particularly in areas where immune cells have settled because of a previous encounter with the invaders. These harmful antigens may consist of protein particles from putrefying animal foods, for example. In such a case, intense microbial activity can occur. The new encounter with the antigens raises the level of antigen/antibody complexes in the blood and upsets the fine balance that exists between the immune reaction and its suppression. Autoimmune diseases, which indicate an extremely high level of toxicity in the body, directly result from a disturbance of this balance. If antibody production is continually high in synovial joints, inflammation becomes chronic, leading to gradually increasing deformity, pain, and loss of function.
The overuse of the immune system leads to self-destruction in the body. If this form of self-destruction occurs in nerve tissue, it is called MS, and if it occurs in organ tissue, it is called cancer. Yet, seen from a deeper perspective, the self-destruction is but a final attempt at self-preservation. The body only ‘attacks’ itself if the toxicity has increased to such a degree that it could cause more damage than an autoimmune response would. It certainly has no intention of committing suicide, which is what the meaning of ‘autoimmune disease’ suggests. When the body’s cell membranes are clogged with foreign, harmful chemicals and toxic particles like trans fatty acids (as found in fast foods, such as hamburgers and french fries), it is an absolutely normal response by the immune system to attack these contaminants. To call this survival response a disease is unscientific and reflects a lack of knowledge of the true nature of the body.
Gallstones inhibit the body’s ability to keep itself nourished and clean, which makes them a leading cause of toxicity. They prevent the liver from adequately taking noxious substances out of the bloodstream. If the liver cannot filter out toxins from the blood, they end up being dumped into the extracellular fluid. The more toxins accumulate in the extracellular fluid, the more severely that cell membranes become clogged with injurious materials. An autoimmune response may be necessary to destroy the most contaminated cells and thereby save the rest of the body, at least for a while. When all gallstones are removed from the liver and gallbladder, the immune system does not have to take recourse to such extreme measures of defending the body on the cellular level.
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritisis a degenerative, non-inflammatory illness. It occurs when the renewal of articular cartilage (a smooth, strong surface, covering bones that are in contact with other bones) does not happen at the same pace as its breakdown. The articular cartilage gradually becomes thinner until, eventually, the bony articular surfaces come into contact, and the bones start to deteriorate. Abnormal bone repair and chronic inflammation may follow this form of damage. Like most diseases, this symptom results from a long-standing digestive disorder. As fewer nutrients are absorbed and distributed for tissue building, it becomes increasingly difficult to maintain healthy sustenance of bone and articular cartilage. Gallstones in the liver impair the basic digestive processes and, therefore, play perhaps the most important role in the development of osteoarthritis.
Gout
Gout, which is another joint disease connected to weak liver performance, is caused by sodium urate crystals in joints and tendons. Gout occurs in some people whose blood uric acid is abnormally high. When gallstones in the liver begin to affect blood circulation in the kidneys, uric acid excretion becomes inefficient. This also causes increased cell damage and cell destruction in the liver and kidneys, as well as in other parts of the body.
Uric acid is a waste product resulting from the breakdown of cell nuclei; it is produced in excess with increased cell destruction. Smoking cigarettes, drinking alcoholic beverages regularly, using stimulants, etc. all cause marked cell destruction, which releases large quantities of degenerate cell protein into the bloodstream. In addition, uric acid production rises sharply with over-consumption of protein foods, such as meat, fish, pork, and eggs. Incidentally, all the aforementioned foods and substances lead to gallstone formation in the liver and gallbladder.
A person may experience several acute attacks of arthritis before damage to the joints decreases mobility and the gout condition becomes chronic.

Nearly all skin diseases such as eczema, acne, and psoriasis have one factor in common: gallstones in the liver. Almost every person with a skin disease also has intestinal problems and impure blood, in particular. These are mainly caused by gallstones and the harmful effects they have on the body as a whole. Gallstones contribute to numerous problems throughout the body – particularly in the digestive, circulatory, and urinary systems. In its attempt to eliminate what the colon, kidneys, lungs, liver, and lymphatic system are unable to remove or detoxify, the skin becomes flooded and overburdened with acidic waste. Although the skin is the largest organ of elimination in the body, it eventually succumbs to the acid assault. The toxic material is deposited first in the connective tissue underneath the dermis. When this ‘waste depot’ becomes saturated, the skin begins to malfunction.
Excessive amounts of noxious substances, cell debris, microbes from different sources (such as gallstones), and various antigens from improperly digested foods congest the lymphatic system and inhibit proper lymph drainage from the various, living layers of the skin. The toxins and putrefying protein from damaged or destroyed skin cells attract microbes and become a source of constant irritation and inflammation of the skin. Skin cells begin to suffer malnourishment, which may greatly reduce their normal interval of turnover (about once every month). This may also cause extensive damage to skin nerves.
If the sebaceous glands, which pour their secretion, sebum, into the hair follicles, become nutrient deficient, hair growth becomes abnormal and, in particular, scalp hair may fall out. When the body’s melanin supply becomes deficient, the hair turns gray prematurely. Sebum deficiency alters the healthy texture of the hair and makes it look dull and unattractive. On the skin, sebum acts as a bactericidal and fungicidal agent, preventing the invasion of microbes. It also prevents drying and cracking of the skin, especially when exposed to sunshine and hot, dry air.
A genetic predisposition toward developing baldness or any other skin disorder may play a role but is not a major causative factor, as is often assumed. Healthy skin functions are often completely restored and hair growth, particularly among women, is returned to normal once all gallstones are removed and the colon and kidneys/bladder are kept clean.
Second only to the brain in complexity, the liver masterminds the most intricate processes of digestion and metabolism, thereby affecting the life and health of every cell in the body. Gallstones in the liver are a major cause of illness and disorders in the body, including skin disorders.

Both mental and physical health depend on the effectiveness and vitality of the cells in the body. The cells of the body derive most of their energy from chemical reactions that take place in the presence of oxygen. One of the resultant waste products is carbon dioxide. The respiratory system provides the routes by which oxygen is taken into the body and carbon dioxide is excreted. Blood serves as the transport system for the exchange of these gases between the lungs and the cells.
Gallstones in the liver can impair respiratory functions and cause allergies, disorders of the nose and nasal cavities, and diseases of the bronchi and lungs. When gallstones distort or injure the lobules (units) of the liver, the blood-cleansing ability of the liver, small intestine, lymphatic system, and immune system diminishes. Waste material and toxic substances, normally rendered harmless by these organs and systems, now begin to seep into the heart, lungs, bronchi, and other respiratory passages. Constant exposure to these irritating agents lowers the resistance of the respiratory system to them. Lymph congestion in the abdominal region, particularly in the cysterna chyli and thoracic duct, hampers proper lymphatic drainage from the respiratory organs. Most respiratory ailments occur because of such lymphblockages.
Pneumonia results when protective measures fail to prevent inhaled or blood-borne microbes from reaching and colonizing the lungs. Gallstones harbor harmful microbes, as well as highly toxic, irritating material that can enter the blood via areas in the liverthat are damaged by the presence of gallstones. Gallstones are a constant source of immune suppression, which leaves the body, and particularly the upper respiratory tract, susceptible to both internal and external disease-triggering factors. These include both blood-borne and airborne microbes (believed to cause pneumonia), cigarette smoke, alcohol, x-rays, corticosteroids, allergens, antigens, common pollutants, waste matter from the GI tract, and the like.
Further respiratory complications arise when handfuls of gallstones that have accumulated in the liverbile ducts lead to liver enlargement. The liver, situated in the upper abdominal cavity, spans almost the entire width of the body. Its upper and anterior surfaces are smooth and shaped to fit under the surface of the diaphragm. When enlarged, the liver obstructs the movement of the diaphragm and prevents the lungs from extending to their normal capacity during inhalation.
By contrast, a smooth, healthy liver permits the lungs to easily extend into the abdominal region, which puts pressure on the abdomen and squeezes the lymphand blood vessels to force lymph and blood toward the heart. This breathing mechanism is often called ‘belly breathing’, and it can be seen in healthy babies, especially. An enlarged liver prevents the full extension of the diaphragm and lungs, which causes reduced exchange of gases in the lungs, lymphatic congestion, and the retention of excessive amounts of carbon dioxide in the lungs. The restricted uptake of oxygen negatively affects cellular functions throughout the body.
Most people in the industrialized world have an enlarged liver, especially those who are overweight or obese. What doctors generally consider a ‘normal-sized’ liveris actually oversize. Once all gallstones are removed through a series of liver flushes, the liver can gradually return to its original size.
Almost all diseases of the lungs, bronchi, and upper respiratory passagesare either caused or worsened by gallstones in the liverand can be improved or eliminated by removing these stones through liver cleansing.

Gallstones in the liver may lead to poor circulation, enlargement of the heart and spleen, varicose veins, congested lymph vessels, and hormone imbalances. When gallstones have grown large enough to seriously distort the structural framework of the lobules (units) of the liver, blood flow through the liver becomes increasingly difficult. This not only raises the venous blood pressure in the liver, but also raises it in all the organs and areas of the body that drain used blood through their respective veins into the liver’s portal vein. Restricted blood flow in that portal vein causes congestion, particularly in the spleen, stomach, esophagus, pancreas, gallbladder, and small and large intestines. This can lead to an enlargement of these organs, to a reduction of their ability to remove cellular waste products, and to a clogging of their respective veins.
A varicose vein is one that is so dilated that the valves do not sufficiently close to prevent blood from flowing backward. Sustained pressure on the veins at the junction of the rectum and anus in the large intestine leads to the development of hemorrhoids, a type of varicose vein. Other common sites of varicose veins are the legs, the esophagus, and the scrotum. Dilation of veins and venules (small veins) can occur anywhere in the body. It always indicates an obstruction of blood flow.
Prescribed by doctors in Germany as a highly successful alternative to surgery for varicose veins, the herbal remedy horse chestnut seed, or conkers, is very effective in the treatment of ‘heavy legs’, hemorrhoids, and cramps. In combination with cleansing of the liver, colon, and kidneys, conkers can lead to complete recovery.
Poor blood flow through the liver always affects the heart. When the organs of the digestive system become weakened by an increase in venous pressure, they become congested and begin to accumulate harmful waste, including debris from cells that have been broken down. The spleen becomes enlarged while it is dealing with the extra workload associated with removing damaged or worn-out blood cells. This further slows blood circulation to and from the organs of the digestive system, which stresses the heart, raises blood pressure, and injures blood vessels. The right half of the heart, which receives venous blood via the inferior vena cava from the liver and all other parts below the lungs, becomes overloaded with toxic, sometimes infectious, material. This eventually causes enlargement, and possibly infection, of the right side of the heart.
Almost all types of heart disease have one thing in common: blood flow is being obstructed. But blood circulation does not become disrupted easily. It must be preceded by a major congestion of the bile ducts in the liver. Gallstones obstructing the bile ducts dramatically reduce or cut off the blood supply to the liver cells. Reduced blood flow through the liver affects the blood flow in the entire body, which, in turn, has a detrimental effect on the lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system, which is closely linked with the immune system, helps to clear the body of harmful metabolic waste products, foreign material, and cell debris. All cells release metabolic waste products into, and take up nutrients from, a surrounding solution, called extracellular fluid or connective tissue. The degree of nourishment and efficiency of the cells depends on how swiftly and completely waste material is removed from the extracellular fluid. Since most waste products cannot pass directly into the blood for excretion, they accumulate in the extracellular fluid until they are removed and detoxified by the lymphatic system. The potentially harmful material is filtered and neutralized by lymph nodes that are strategically located throughout the body. One of the key functions of the lymphatic system is to keep the extracellular fluid clear of toxic substances, which makes this a system of utmost importance.
Poor circulation of blood in the body causes an overload of foreign, harmful waste matter in the extracellular tissues and, consequently, in the lymph vessels and lymph nodes as well. When lymph drainage slows down or becomes obstructed, the thymus gland, tonsils, and spleen start to deteriorate quite rapidly. These organs form an important part of the body’s system of purification and immunity. In addition, microbes harbored in gallstones can be a constant source of recurring infection in the body, which may render the lymphatic and immune systems ineffective against more serious infections, such as infectious mononucleosis, measles, typhoid fever, tuberculosis, syphilis, and the like.
Owing to restricted bile flow in the liver and gallbladder, the small intestine is restricted in its capacity to digest food properly. This permits substantial amounts of waste matter and poisonous substances, such as cadaverines and putrescines (breakdown products of putrefied food), to seep into the lymphatic ducts. These toxins, along with fats and proteins, enter the body’s largest lymph vessel, the thoracic duct,at the cysterna chyli. The cysterna chyli are dilated lymph vessels in the shape of sacks, situated in front of the first two lumbar vertebrae at the level of the belly button.
Toxins, antigens, and undigested proteins from animal sources, including fish, meat, eggs, and dairy foods, as well as leaked plasma proteins, cause these lymph sacks to swell and become inflamed. When the cells of an animal become damaged or die, which happens seconds after it is killed, its protein structures are broken down by cellular enzymes. These so-called ‘degenerate’ proteins are useless for the body, and they become harmful unless they are promptly removed by the lymphatic system. Their presence usually invites enhanced microbial activity. Viruses, fungi, and bacteria feed on the pooled wastes. In some cases, allergic reactions occur.
When the cysterna chyli(lymph sacks) are overtaxed and congested, the lymphatic system is no longer able to sufficiently remove even the body’s own degenerate proteins (from worn-out cells). This results in lymph edema. While lying on the back, existing lymph edema can be felt as hard knots, sometimes as large as a fist, in the area of the belly button. These ‘rocks’ are a major cause of middle and low back pain and abdominal swelling, and, in fact, of most symptoms of ill health. Many people who have grown a ‘tummy’ consider this abdominal extension to be just a harmless nuisance or a natural part of aging. They don’t realize that they are breeding a living ‘time bomb’ that may go off some day and injure vital parts of the body. Anyone with a bloated abdomen suffers from major lymph congestion.
Some 80 percent of the lymphatic system is associated with the intestines, making this area of the body the largest center of immune activity. This is no coincidence. The part of the body where most disease-causing agents are combated or generated is, in fact, the intestinal tract. Any lymphedema, or other kind of obstruction in this important part of the lymphatic system, can lead to potentially serious complications elsewhere in the body.
Wherever a lymphduct is obstructed, lymph has also accumulated at some distance from the obstruction. Consequently, the lymph nodeslocated in such an area can no longer adequately neutralize or detoxify the following things: dead and live phagocytes and their ingested microbes, worn-out tissue cells, cells damaged by disease, products of fermentation, pesticides in food, toxic antibodies contained in most plant foods, inhaled or otherwise ingested chemical particles, cells from malignant tumors, and the millions of cancer cells every healthy person generates each day. Incomplete destruction of these things can cause these lymph nodes to become inflamed, enlarged, and congested with blood. Infected material may enter the bloodstream, causing septic poisoning and acute illnesses. In most cases, though, the lymph blockage occurs slowly, without any symptoms other than swelling of the abdomen, hands, arms, feet, or ankles, or sometimes puffiness in the face and eyes. This is often referred to as ‘water retention’, a major precursor of chronic illness.
Continuous lymphatic obstruction usually leads to chronic health problems. Almost every chronic illness results from congestion in the cysterna chyli. Eventually, the thoracic duct, which drains the cysterna chyli, is overburdened by the constant influx of toxic material and becomes clogged up, too. The thoracic duct is linked with numerous other lymph ducts that empty their waste into the thoracic ‘sewer canal’.
Since the thoracic duct has to remove nearly 85 percent of the body’s daily-generated cellular waste and other potentially hazardous material, a blockage there causes backing up of waste into other, more distant parts of the body.
When the daily-generated metabolic waste and cellular debris are not removed from an area in the body for a certain length of time, symptoms of disease start to manifest. The following are but a few typical examples of illness indicators that result directly from chronic, localized lymph congestion:
Obesity, cysts in the uterus or ovaries, enlargement of the prostate gland, rheumatism in the joints, enlargement of the left half of the heart, congestive heart failure, congested bronchi and lungs, swelling or enlargement of the neck area, stiffness in the neck and shoulders, backaches, headaches, migraines, dizziness, vertigo, ringing in the ears, earaches, deafness, dandruff, frequent colds, sinusitis, hay fever, certain types of asthma, thyroid enlargement, eye diseases, poor vision, swelling in the breasts, breast cancer, kidney problems, lower back pains, swelling of the legs and ankles, scoliosis, brain disorders, memory loss, stomach trouble, enlarged spleen, irritable bowel syndrome, hernia, polyps in the colon, and others.
The thoracic duct typically empties its detoxified waste contents into the left subclavian vein at the root of the neck. This vein enters the superior vena cava, which leads straight into the heart. In addition to blocking proper lymph drainage from the various organs or parts of the body, congestion in the cysterna chyli and thoraciuct permits toxic materials to be passed into the heart and heart arteries. This unduly stresses the heart. It also allows these toxins and disease-causing agents to enter the general circulation and spread to other parts of the body. Hardly a disease can be named that is not caused by lymphatic obstruction. Lymph blockage, in most cases, has its origin in a congested liver. In the extreme eventuality, lymphomaor cancer of the lymph may result, of which Hodgkin’s disease is the most common type.
When the circulatory system begins to malfunction because of gallstones in the liver, the endocrine system starts to be affected as well. The endocrine glands produce hormones that pass directly from the glandular cells into the bloodstream, where they influence bodily activity, growth, and nutrition. The glands most often affected by congestion are the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal cortex, ovaries, and testes. A more severely disrupted circulatory function leads to imbalanced hormone secretions by the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas and the pineal and pituitary glands. Blood congestion, which is characterized by the thickening of the blood, prevents hormones from reaching their target places in the body in sufficient amounts and on time. Consequently, the glands go into hypersecretion (overproduction) of hormones.
When lymph drainage from the glands is inefficient, the glands themselves become congested. This brings about hyposecretion (lack) of hormones. Diseases related to imbalances of the thyroid gland include toxic goiter, Graves’ disease, cretinism, myxoedema, tumors of the thyroid, hypoparathyroidism. Thyroid disorders can also reduce calcium absorption and cause cataracts,as well as behavioral disorders and dementia.Poor calcium absorption, alone, is responsible for numerous diseases, including osteoporosis (loss of bone density). If circulatory problems disrupt the secretion of balanced amounts of insulin in the pancreatic islets of Langerhans, diabetes may develop.
Gallstones in the liver can cause liver cells to cut down protein synthesis. Reduced protein synthesis, in turn, prompts the adrenal glands to overproduce cortisol,a hormone that stimulates protein synthesis. Too much cortisol in the blood gives rise to atrophy of lymphoid tissue and a depressed immune response, which is considered the leading cause of cancer and many other major illnesses.
An imbalance in the secretion of adrenal hormones can cause a wide variety of disorders, as it leads to weakened febrile response (fever) and diminished protein synthesis. Proteins are the major building blocks for tissue cells, hormones, and so forth. The liver is capable of producing many different hormones. Hormones determine how well the body grows and heals.
The liver also inhibits certain hormones, including insulin, glucagon, cortisol, aldosterone, thyroid, and sex hormones. Gallstones in the liver impair this vital function, which may increase hormone concentrations in the blood. Hormone imbalance is an extremely serious condition and can easily occur when gallstones in the liver have disrupted major circulatory pathways that are also hormonal pathways. For example, by failing to keep blood cortisol levels balanced, a person may accumulate excessive amounts of fat in the body. If estrogens are not broken down properly, the risk of breast cancer increases. If blood insulin is not broken down properly, the risk of cancer rises, and the cells in the body may become resistant to insulin, which is a major precursor of diabetes.
Disease is naturally absent when blood flow and lymph flow are both unhindered and normal. Both types of problems – circulatory and lymphatic – can be successfully eliminated through a series of liver flushes and prevented by following a balanced diet and lifestyle.

Gallstones in the liver and gallbladder can be held responsible for most diseases of the mouth. The stones interfere with the digestion and absorption of food, which in turn forces waste products meant for elimination to remain in the intestinal tract. Bacterial infection (thrush) and viral infection (herpes) in the mouth arise only when waste decomposes and becomes a source of toxicity in the body. The trapped toxins constantly irritate parts of the gastro-intestinal lining (which begins in the mouth and ends in the anus) until inflammation or ulceration occurs. The damaged cell tissue ‘invites’ more microbes to the scene of the injury to help clean up of cellular debris. This is a normal phenomenon seen everywhere in nature whenever there is something that needs to be decomposed.
Bacteria never attack, that is, infect something that is as clean, vital and healthy as a fruit hanging on a tree. Only when the fruit becomes overripe or falls to the ground do bacteria begin their clean-up job. The moment bacteria begin to decompose food or flesh, toxins are generated. These toxins can be recognized by their unpleasant odor and acidic nature. If they are generated in the body, it is only natural that symptoms of illness begin to show up.
Thrush indicates the presence of large quantities of bacteria that have spread throughout the gastro-intestinal tract, including the mouth area. It shows up in the mouth because the mucous lining there is no longer resistant enough to keep its cells in good physical shape. Since the main part of the immune system is located in the mucous lining of the gastro-intestinal tract, thrush indicates a major weakness in the body’s general immunity to disease.
Herpes, which is considered a viral disease, is similar to thrush, with the exception that, instead of bacteria attacking the cell exterior, viral materials attack the cell interior or nucleus. In both cases, the attackers target only weak and unhealthy cells, those that are already damaged or dysfunctional. Added to this dilemma, gallstones harbor plenty of bacteria and viruses, which escape the liver via the secreted bile and infect those parts of the body that have the least resistance to them.
Gallstones can lead to other problems in the mouth. They inhibit proper bile secretion, which in turn reduces appetite and secretion of saliva from the salivary glands in the mouth. Saliva is required to cleanse the mouth and keep its tissues soft and pliable. If there is not enough saliva present, destructive bacteria begin to invade the mouth cavity. This can lead to tooth decay and other tooth-related problems. But, once again, bacteria do not cause tooth decay; germs are attracted only to those areas in the mouth that are undernourished and toxic already.
A bitter taste in the mouth is caused by bile that has regurgitated into the stomach and, from there, into the mouth. This condition occurs because of major intestinal congestion. Instead of properly moving downward, parts of the intestinal content are backed up and bring gas and other irritating substances into the upper regions of the gastro-intestinal tract. Bile in the mouth drastically alters the pH-value (acid-alkalinity balance) of saliva, which impairs its cleansing properties and makes the mouth susceptible to infection.
A mouth ulcerin the lower lip indicates a simultaneous inflammatory process in the large intestine. Repeated occurrence of ulcers in either one of the corners of the mouth points to the presence of duodenal ulcers. Tongue ulcers, depending on their location, indicate inflammatory processes in corresponding areas of the alimentary canal, such as the stomach, small intestine, appendix or large intestine.

Cholesterol is an essential building block of every cell in the body, required for all metabolic processes. It is particularly important in the production of nerve tissue, bile and certain hormones. On average, our body produces about half of a gram to one gram of cholesterol per day, depending on how much of it the body needs at the time. By and large, our body is able to produce 400 times more cholesterol per day than what we would obtain from eating 3,5 ounces (100 grams) of butter. The main cholesterol producers are the liver and the small intestine, in that order. Normally, they are able to release cholesterol directly into the blood stream, where it is instantly tied to blood proteins. These proteins, which are called lipoproteins, are in charge of transporting the cholesterol to its numerous destinations. There are three main types of lipoproteins in charge of transporting cholesterol: Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL), Very Low Density Lipoprotein (VLDL), and High Density Lipoprotein (HDL).
In comparison to HDL, which has been privileged with the name ‘good’ cholesterol, LDL and VLDL are relatively large cholesterol molecules; in fact, they are the richest in cholesterol. There is good reason for their large size. Unlike their smaller cousin, which easily passes through blood vessel walls, the LDL and VLDL versions of cholesterol are meant to take a different pathway; they leave the blood stream in the liver.
The blood vessels supplying the liver have a very different structure from the ones supplying other parts of the body. They are known as sinusoids. Their unique, grid-like structure permits the liver cells to receive the entire blood content, including the large cholesterol molecules. The liver cells rebuild the cholesterol and excrete it along with bile into the intestines. Once the cholesterol enters the intestines, it combines with fats, is absorbed by the lymph and enters the blood, in that order. Gallstones in the bile ducts of the liver inhibit the bile flow and partially, or even fully, block the cholesterol’s escape route. Due to back-up pressure on the liver cells, bile production drops. Typically, a healthy liver produces over a quart of bile per day. When the major bile ducts are blocked, barely a cup of bile, or even less, will find its way to the intestines. This prevents much of the VLDL and LDL cholesterol from being excreted with the bile.
Gallstones in the liver bile ducts distort the structural framework of the liver lobules, which damages and congests the sinusoids. Deposits of excessive protein also close the grid holes of these blood vessels (see the discussion of this subject in the previous section). Whereas the ‘good’ cholesterol HDL has small enough molecules to leave the bloodstream through ordinary capillaries, the larger LDL and VLDL molecules are more or less trapped in the blood. The result is that LDL and VLDL concentrations begin to rise in the blood to levels that seem potentially harmful to the body. Yet even this scenario is merely part of the body’s survival attempts. It needs the extra cholesterol to patch up the increasing number of cracks and wounds that are formed as a result of the accumulation of excessive protein in the blood vessel walls. Eventually, though, the life-saving cholesterol begins to occlude the blood vessels and cut off the oxygen supply to the heart.
In addition to this complication, reduced bile flow impairs the digestion of food, particularly fats. Therefore, there is not enough cholesterol made available to the cells of the body and their basic metabolic processes. Since the liver cells no longer receive sufficient amounts of LDL and VLDL molecules, they (the liver cells) assume that the blood is deficient in these types of cholesterol. This stimulates the liver cells to increase the production of cholesterol, further raising the levels of LDL and VLDL cholesterol in the blood.
The ‘bad’ cholesterol is trapped in the circulatory system because its escape routes, the bile ducts and the liver sinusoids, are blocked or damaged. The capillary network and arteries attach as much of the ‘bad’ cholesterol to their walls as they possibly can. Consequently, the arteries become rigid and hard.
Coronary heart disease, regardless of whether it is caused by smoking, drinking excessive amounts of alcohol, overeating protein foods, stress, or any other factor, usually does not occur unless gallstones have impacted the bile ducts of the liver. Removing gallstones from the liver and gallbladder can not only prevent a heart attack or stroke, but also reverse coronary heart disease and heart muscle damage. The body’s response to stressful situations becomes less damaging, and cholesterol levels begin to normalize as the distorted and damaged liver lobules are regenerated. Cholesterol-lowering drugs don’t do that. They artificially reduce blood cholesterol, which coerces the liver to produce even more cholesterol. But when extra cholesterol is passed into the bile ducts, it remains in its crystalline state (versus soluble state) and, thereby, turns into gallstones. People who regularly use cholesterol-lowering drugs usually develop an excessively large number of gallstones. This sets them up for major side effects, including cancer and heart disease.
Cholesterol is essential for normal functioning of the immune system, particularly for the body’s response to the millions of cancer cells that every person makes in his body each day. For all the health problems associated with cholesterol, this important substance is not something we should try to eliminate from our bodies. Cholesterol does far more good than harm. The harm is generally symptomatic of other problems. I wish to emphasize, once again, that ‘bad’ cholesterol only attaches itself to the walls of arteries to avert immediate heart trouble, not to create it. This is confirmed by the fact that cholesterol never attaches itself to the walls of veins. When a doctor tests your cholesterol levels, he takes the blood sample from a vein, not from an artery. Although blood flow is much slower in veins than in arteries, cholesterol should obstruct veins much more readily than arteries, but it never does. There simply is no need for that. Why? Because there are no abrasions and tears in the lining of the vein that require patching up. Cholesterol only affixes itself to arteries in order to coat and cover up the abrasions and protect the underlying tissue like a waterproof bandage. Veins do not absorb proteins in their basements membranes like capillaries and arteries do and, therefore, are not prone to this type of injury.
‘Bad’ cholesterol saves lives; it does not take lives. LDL allows the blood to flow through injured blood vessels without causing a life-endangering situation. The theory of high LDL being a principal cause of coronary heart disease is not only unproved and unscientific. It has misled the population to believe that cholesterol is an enemy that has to be fought and destroyed at all costs. Human studies have not shown a cause-and-effect relationship between cholesterol and heart disease. The hundreds of studies so far conducted on such a relationship have only shown that there is a statistical correlation between the two. And there should be, because if there were no ‘bad’ cholesterol molecules attaching themselves to injured arteries we would have millions of more deaths from heart attack than we already have. On the other hand, dozens of conclusive studies have shown that risk of heart disease increases significantly in people whose HDL levels decrease. Elevated LDL cholesterol is not a cause of heart disease; rather, it is a consequence of an unbalanced liver and congested, dehydrated circulatory system.
If your doctor has told you that lowering your cholesterol with medical drugs protects you against heart attacks, you have been grossly misled. The #1 prescribed cholesterol-lowering medicine is Lipitor. I suggest that you read the following warning statement, issued on the official Lipitor web site:
“LIPITORï (atorvastatin calcium) tablets is a prescription drug used with diet to lower cholesterol. LIPITOR is not for everyone, including those with liver disease or possible liver problems, and women who are nursing, pregnant, or may become pregnant. LIPITOR has not been shown to prevent heart disease or heart attacks.
“If you take LIPITOR, tell your doctor about any unusual muscle pain or weakness. This could be a sign of serious side effects. It is important to tell your doctor about any medications you are currently taking to avoid possible serious drug interactions…”
My question is, “Why risk a person’s health or life by giving him/her a drug that has no effect, whatsoever, in preventing the problem for which it is being prescribed?” The reason why the lowering of cholesterol levels cannot prevent heart disease is because cholesterol does not cause heart disease.
The most important issue is how efficiently a person’s body uses cholesterol and other fats. The body’s ability to digest, process and utilize these fats depends on how clear and unobstructed the bile ducts of the liver are. When bile flow is unrestricted and balanced, both the LDL and HDL levels are balanced as well. Therefore, keeping the bile ducts open is the best prevention of coronary heart disease.

If you experience major, persisting health problems, either physical or emotional, your liver may be congested with toxic compounds that are trapped within deposits of hardened bile (intrahepatic stones). Almost all health conditions, beauty problems and premature aging are closely linked with declined liver performance which is elusive to blood tests.
Congestion in the bile ducts of the liver undermines the body’s effort to make proper use of ingested food and vital energy. This, in turn, may lead to accentuated expressions of discomfort, including fear, anger, impatience, greed, depression, dis-ease and cynicism. Cleansing the liver of existing obstructions and impurities can help restore balance, vitality and happiness in every facet of your life.
When The Body Complains…
Unlike the stomach, for example, the liver never tells you directly when it is upset or needs special attention. It does tell you indirectly, though, when it starts to perform poorly. The following conditions would not occur if the liver were in optimum shape: skin irritation, weak eyesight, unhealthy bowel movements, irregular menstrual cycles, recurring headaches, unexplainable weight gain, loss of energy, sudden aging, elevated cholesterol levels, most allergies, constricted blood vessels, bloated abdomen, water retention, gastrointestinal trouble, breathing difficulties, poor memory and concentration, pain in the joints or elsewhere in the body, brittle bones, and any major illness such as heart disease, cancer, MS, diabetes or Alzheimer’s.
The liver is responsible for processing, converting, distributing and maintaining the body’s fuel supply which consists of nutrients and energy. Impeding these vital functions not only affects the body’s performance as a whole, but also the health of every single cell. The liver cannot perform any of these functions properly if its bile ducts are clogged with deposits of hardened bile or ‘gallstones’ (made of gall or bile). Gallstones are caused by a number of factors, including the modern fast pace of living, stress, imbalanced diets, disruptive lifestyle, use of medical drugs, stimulants and alcohol, and ingestion of chemical poisons, such as food additives and artificial sweeteners. Bile duct congestion results in major impairment of digestive functions, thereby reducing the nutrient supply to the trillions of cells in the body. This makes gallstones in the liver to be a major cause of physical and emotional illness.
The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush
The liver flush mentioned in this context is a straightforward, safe and painless do-it-yourself procedure using apple juice (or malic acid), olive oil, citrus juice and Epsom salts to dispel gallstones from the liver and, of course, also from the gallbladder. The flush is best done on a weekend at home. Although the liver flush is very easy to do, it is important to understand the process and follow all of the directions precisely. Since introducing the liver cleanse to hundreds and thousands of patients in the 1990s, I have received countless testimonies expressing total amazement about the fast and profound healing effects it produces. They encouraged me to write a book on the subject. The book includes the exact procedure and necessary background information for conducting this simple, yet most profound cleanse. Today, the liver cleanse has helped restore the health of thousands of people in all parts of the world.
Gallstones in the Liver – The Most Common Cause of Illness
An estimated one billion of the world’s population will develop gallstones in their gallbladder at some stage in their lives. In the United States, 20 million adults suffer from gallstone attacks every year. In many cases, treatment merely consists of removing the gallbladder, at a cost of $5,000 per operation, with little or no regard to what causes gallstones. These statistics, however, do not account for the millions more who will develop gallstones in their liver or, or who already have them.
During my 30 years of practicing natural medicine around the world I have dealt with thousands of people suffering from all types of diseases. I can document that each one of them, without exception, has had considerable quantities of gallstones in their liver. Surprisingly, only relatively few chronically ill patients report having a history of gallstones in their gallbladder. However, as can be easily verified, every person suffering from heart disease, arthritis, MS, cancer or diabetes has hundreds if not thousands of gallstones blocking the bile ducts of their liver. The presence of gallstones in the liver is the main impediment to acquiring and maintaining good health, youthfulness and vitality. Gallstones are, in fact, one of the major reasons people become ill and have difficulty recuperating from illness.
Medicine’s Most Unfortunate Oversight
Most people believe that gallstones can be found only in the gallbladder. This is a common false assumption. Most gallstones are actually formed in the liver and comparatively few occur in the gallbladder. You can easily verify this assessment by giving yourself a liver cleanse. It matters little whether you are a layperson, a medical doctor, scientist, or someone who no longer has a gallbladder and, therefore, is believed to be free of gallstones altogether. The results of the liver cleanse speak for themselves. Once you see hundreds of green or beige-colored gallstones floating in the toilet bowl during your first liver flush, you will intuitively know that you are on to something very important in your life.
I am repeatedly asked the intriguing question – why is there only little or no reference in mainstream medicine to the occurrence of gallstones in the liver? The failure to recognize the incidence of gallstone formation in the liver may very well be the most unfortunate oversight that has ever been made in the field of medicine, both orthodox and complementary forms. Heavy reliance on blood tests for diagnostic purposes, as seen in most medical practices, may actually be a big disadvantage with regard to assessing liver health. Most people who have some sort of physical complaint usually have perfectly normal liver enzyme levels in the blood, despite suffering liver congestion. Liver bile duct congestion is one of the commonest health problems, yet conventional medicine makes little or no reference to them, nor does it have reliable methods to diagnose these conditions. Liver enzyme levels in the blood become elevated only when there is advanced liver cell destruction, as is the case in hepatitis or liver inflammation. Liver cells contain large amounts of enzymes. When ruptured, the enzymes enter the blood and signal liver abnormalities. By then, however, the damage has already occurred. It takes many years of liver bile duct congestion before such an event becomes possible.
Unless there is a specific liver disease, such as liver cirrhosis, this vital organ is rarely considered a ‘culprit’ for other diseases. The majority of gallstones in the liver and gallbladder consist of the same ‘harmless’ constituents as are contained in liquid bile, with cholesterol being the main ingredient. This makes most of them ‘invisible’ to X-ray and ultra-sound technologies. Therefore, standard clinical tests are not a reliable way to detect gallstones (hardened bile) in the liver.
On the other hand, a qualified iridologist, an Ayurvedic physician or a natural health practitioner who knows the signs and indications of gallstones in the liver and gallbladder, can quite easily determine the extent of gallstone formation in these organs. Most people in the civilized world have gallstones. But even in alternative or complementary medicine, there is rarely mention of an effective therapy that can actually remove gallstones safely and without pain. Even when all other disease-causing factors are eliminated, if gallstones are still present in the liver, they remain the hidden harbingers of future illness.
Reaping the Benefits
Those suffering from chronic illnesses usually have several thousand gallstones congesting the bile ducts of the liver. Some stones may have impacted the gallbladder as well. By removing these stones through a series of liver cleanses, and maintaining a reasonably balanced diet and lifestyle, the liver and gallbladder will be able to restore their natural efficiency, and most symptoms of discomfort or disease in the body will quickly begin to subside. Allergies will lessen or disappear, back, neck and shoulder pain will dissipate, and energy and wellness will improve dramatically. There is no part of the body that doesn’t benefit from liver cleansing.
Sweeping the liver clean eliminates thousands of bits of poisonous substances that have helped form the stones that block thousands of liver bile ducts. Cleansing the liver bile ducts from gallstones is one of the most important and powerful procedures to regain or improve your health and raise the body’s vibration. By reopening the bile ducts, the body’s energy circuit becomes restored and healing can take place on all levels of body, mind and spirit.

The Amazing Liver Gallbladder Flush (Patrick Timpone interviews Andreas Moritz)
Patrick Timpone: I had a book in my possession for the last two three years – “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALL BLADDER FLUSH“, very, very interesting book and got to kind of know Andreas Moritz through this book and contacted him and he is on the line right now. He is a nice gentleman. Integrative medicine man is his main tag. He is studied in Ayurveda, meditation, yoga, nutrition, iridology, shiatsu for over thirty years, he has had a great deal of success with terminal illnesses with his people he has written this book “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH“, “CANCER IS NOT A DISEASE” and “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION“. He developed ENER-CHI which is a system of healing using ionized stones, his website is ENER-CHI.com. if you like to learn, we get lots of calls, Andreas, about gallbladder flushes and liver flushes so this should be a great book, I assume it is still in print probably on Amazon maybe?
Andreas Moritz: Very much so, it is every where, it is in ten languages, it is all over the world, it is going into Chinese now and Japanese
Patrick Timpone: Wow! I really enjoyed your book because I have done plenty of these myself and you really laid it out in a very clean and efficient and neat way. Tell the folks why it is important to clean the liver and the gallbladder
Andreas Moritz: Well, the liver is really one of the most important organs in the body. It is a factory, it produces an enormous number of just some substances including cholesterol which is a stress hormone, and it is a healing hormone and it is an ingredient for most hormones in the body and also the half of the brain and even part of the heart and so the body has to make it, and uses it in order to manufacture bile, the bile is necessary to digest your food, if you do not make enough bile normally… your body has to produce a quart and a half of bile per day in order to successfully, properly breakdown the foods into nutrients which are then absorbed into the blood stream and nourish and nurture your self and the body. Now when you do not make enough bile then that poses a huge problem for the body because bile is also responsible for activating digestive enzymes from the pancreas and if you do not make enough bile you are not able to use those enzymes to digest your food well.
Patrick Timpone: And what activities decrease bile flow?
Andreas Moritz: Anything from anger, stress, from eating inappropriate foods that are not physiological, that means these are foods that were never meant to be grown by nature they are man made foods, artificially produced foods or artificially sustained foods that contain a lot of preservatives, then the can of beverages that we call drinks or beverages….
Patrick Timpone: Yeah
Andreas Moritz: …that people drink all the time, like soft drinks, produce a lot of stones
Patrick Timpone: Back to the liver… also then these foods that aren’t physiologically natural, they are the producers of the stones, and the stones block the pathway for the bile?
Andreas Moritz: Correct. It is a massive network of bile ducts in the liver. It is almost like a massive tree and it has branches and smaller branches and smaller branches and a big trunk the big trunk is the common bile duct that comes out of the liver and so the bilary tree, so to say, can get clogged up very easily by what John Hopkins University calls intra-hepatic gallstones and these stones they are very soft they are made of mostly of cholesterol, most of them look green, like peas, they have almost the shape of peas and they are soft to the touch, so they are putty like if you squeeze them when they come out, but these stones are very obstructive so they block the bile flow and that means they also block the exit for the liver to eliminate toxins and noxious substances, so if the liver is unable to remove the toxin form the blood stream because the bile ducts are blocked up, these toxins, they are backing up in the blood and then they enter the connective tissue, which is the soft tissue that makes up all the organs and system in the body, so when you do not eliminate those toxins properly they start accumulating there and they basically suffocate the environment of the cells and the cells can no longer get enough oxygen, you mentioned oxygen, it is vital for the functioning of the cells and the cells do not get enough oxygen they eventually have to mutate into a different style of functioning which we call cancer or malignance then that is a really an end stage of the body trying to safeguard itself…. protect itself.
Patrick Timpone: So then the liver has an amazing job it is I guess it is correct to say it is the largest organ in the body other than the skin…
Andreas Moritz: Physically it is the most dense and it is a soft organ it is mostly filled with blood and so in fact the liver itself is liver cells are completely surrounded by blood, particularly when you sleep
Patrick Timpone: And I can… we say then with the onslaught of different chemicals in the air, in the food, in the water, plastics and whatever that the liver in the 21st century must really be on its on top of its game, so to speak…
Andreas Moritz: Absolutely
Patrick Timpone: So then these stones would be very, very detrimental to our health…
Andreas Moritz: To, I mean, to the cells functioning… that means, we have sixty to eight trillion cells in our body and all of them totally depend on how the liver functions.
Patrick Timpone: Wow!
Andreas Moritz: And there is not a single function in the body that does not depend on the liver, that is why you can develop a huge number of illnesses from digestive disorders to simple appetite problems, ulcers in the stomach, nauseas feeling, vomiting, depression, impotence, hernia, flatulence, difficulty in breathing because if the liver bile ducts get congested the liver becomes large and presses against the diaphragm and you cannot get any deep breaths in any more, and once you have diminished oxygenation of the cells because of that, then that again makes you more prone to develop cancer and other illnesses, people’s infections that people have, it is again related to their liver, high cholesterol obviously, because the liver makes cholesterol and the blood vessel walls in the liver are getting congested because of bile duct blockage, then your body can no longer retrieve enough cholesterol, the liver can no longer retrieve enough cholesterol form the blood stream, and it starts building up in the blood stream and then people have high cholesterol. Heart disease is very much related to the liver, most brain disorders, pancreatitis is definitely related to the liver, anything that is related to circulation and that includes virtually every part of the body, Alzheimer’s disease, cancers, kidney diseases, chronic fatigue syndrome, osteoporosis, knee problems, shoulder problems, joint problems, gout…
Patrick Timpone: It is amazing, that is amazing!
Andreas Moritz: Literally not a single disease that is not directly related to bile duct congestion…
Patrick Timpone: That is amazing, and if you have just joined us, Andreas Moritz, sorry to interrupt you, Sir, but we have come to a break. If you just joined us, Andreas Moritz said that the way these stones get formed in the bile ducts is from inappropriate food, essentially the standard American diet we are sorry to say, in most cases, and is it any wonder that there is so much illness in our country if what he said is correct and there are many, many books and experts and people in the filed all over the world who concur with Mr. Moritz and Sir, if you hang in there we are going to break for the news my name is Patrick Timpone and back in a flash…
…Andreas Moritz, we are going to take the calls in a second but you have laid out a very interesting paradigm – how important it is to keep the liver and gallbladder clean because of the inappropriate foods that many of us eat and the culture eats and the preservatives, chemicals I would assume… does that also include many of the grains and starches that are over-consumed in your opinion?
Andreas Moritz: Certainly, many of the refined foods, they are no longer usable by the body so the body has to just find ways to discard them and in discarding them that means decomposing them or fermenting them or putrefying them, those kinds of food that are not useful for the body and therefore remain undigested. When the body is decomposing it, it engages bacteria to do the job, the dirty job, for them, and so the toxin and poisons that are generated as part of any fermentation process will be absorbed into the lymphatic vessels they are know as the cisterna chyli vessels around the belly button area, right in the middle part of the abdomen, and these vessels they become swollen, they become endemic as they try to accommodate and surround those poisons with fluid… with lymphatic fluid… and so that part of the body starts to extend to becomes enlarged and that is the typical belly tummy that people complain about when they first start putting on weight and gradually the lymphatic congestion progresses to other parts of the body – the thoracic duct that runs right form the belly button area all the way up to the throat and that is where it joins it bends to the left and joins the blood stream, so when the body is unable to remove or gets exposed to so many foods that are fermented or putrefied like cadaver-type foods, animal flesh foods, then the body will have to succumb to these poisons somewhere down the line and wherever these poisons accumulate more than in another places, and the lymphatic congestion progresses to the point the body cannot even get rid of its metabolic waste products like lactic acid, uric acid, urea, ammonia, it is like urine trapped in the surrounding in the environment of the cells then that acidic material will start to cause destruction of the cells. And so wherever that happens, first you will have a symptom you go to the doctor he says well you suffer from this illness and he gives you, basically puts on line for receiving drugs or something else that will suppress those very same symptoms which is nothing but a survival mechanism in the body.
Patrick Timpone: Yes
Andreas Moritz: It is a healing response, the body is desperately trying to go back to balance and so the disease, what we call disease, is the way for the body to do that; inflammation for example is a healing response… we call it an illness.
Patrick Timpone: His name is Andreas Moritz, he is in integrative medicine, ayurveda, meditation, yoga, nutrition, iridology, shiatsu, he has been at this for over thirty years, he has travelled around the country, the world, and actually he has talked with the heads of states around the world, written several book including “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” and your website is it ENER-CHI.com
Andreas Moritz: That is correct
Patrick Timpone: ENER-CHI, and some asked to call, your name is MORITZ
Andreas Moritz: Yes
Patrick Timpone: Andreas Moritz. So there is a way and your book goes into great detail, we will not go through it now because we are going to take a caller or two… you can flush your liver and gall bladder and get rid of these stones and do this very safely people do this quite often…
Andreas Moritz: Oh yes
Patrick Timpone: And do talk a little bit about it throughout the evening between now and eight o’clock on how you do it and what the basic idea is and then someone could get more information. Lets so ahead and talk to Rocco who has been holding. Hi Rocco you are on KLBJ
Rocco: Hello Patrick, how are you doing by you
Patrick Timpone: Oh good, I am good, how is it by you?
Rocco: I am doing alright I was wondering if your guest has any knowledge he can pass along about the rejuvenation of the pancreas or how that is related to diabetes, I have been diagnosed with diabetes and I am wondering if you can put it as a disease and if he knows anything about this…
Patrick Timpone: Oh Rocco, could you hold on one sec?
Rocco: Sure
Patrick Timpone: You want to try him on that other thing, Chris? Why do not you try it on that? Ok, Rocco, are you there?
Rocco: Yeah okay this is better can you hear him, Andreas, now?
Andreas Moritz: Yeah
Patrick Timpone: Okay go ahead, and so you are looking for some way to rejuvenate the cells of the pancreas, you got diabetes for a while?
Rocco: Yeah
Andreas Moritz: Are you having type 1 or type 2?
Rocco: Type 2. I was diagnosed about three years ago and I was able to control it with diet and exercise for a couple for years, but now they have me on a drug called Metformin and I am talking about a thousand milligrams of that a day and of course I’d rather not and I was wondering if you had any insight?
Andreas Moritz: Okay, the pancreas very much depends on the liver again because when your liver is producing bile, and it is basically passed into the gallbladder and whenever you eat a meal that requires bile for secretion and fat is the trigger for bile to digest carbohydrates, your body has to have fat in order to digest those carbohydrates and if you have protein in your diet, your body has to have fat in order to digest the protein, so in order to digest the fat, your body has to have bile secretion, now when you do not make enough bile anymore, and there is not enough bile to… sufficient enough bile, to activate digestive enzymes that come out of your pancreas then may of these unactivated digestive enzymes will remain or go back, backwash into the into the pancreas through the pancreatic duct, and when that happens your cells become inflamed, the cells of the pancreas become inflamed and become what they are called pancreatitis in fact they start getting destroyed; you can destroy the cells of the pancreas that are responsible for producing insulin. So the liver plays a huge role in this respect. The other problem that usually arises with diabetes is that people over the years, they eat far too much protein, to process a steak for example, a medium steak, your body has to come up with the amount of insulin that is required for about half a pound of white sugar to completely remove all the proteins and to process the proteins in the body and so that can cause insulin resistance eventually, because too much insulin is causing cancer in the body, so the body will try to reduce the insulin production in some way or another and as your insulin production is curbed, then obviously your sugar will rise in the blood stream and you have diabetes.
Patrick Timpone: Andreas, do you think that everybody is so unique, and we have to end this and get into a break, but Andreas everybody is so unique the blood type and metabolic type and body type and diet type and what we think and believe, but do you think we work as a species in general made to eat any kind of flesh from the animals that swim and fly and two-legged and four-legged.
Andreas Moritz: Very difficult, you can only on average digest about one fifth of the amount of the meat that a carnivorous animal like a cat could digest simply because we have only very, very small and very low concentrated hydrochloric acid in our stomach. So if you eat a steak you can only digest up to ten, fifteen, twenty percent of it, what do you do with the rest of it? Now that has to be putrefied, that has to be decomposed, and when you do that, when you decompose flesh food, you produce amines and amines are carcinogens and cadaverine and some putrescine which are the small severe poisons that a human body can process and that is a source of so many illnesses and diabetes is definitely one of them,
Patrick Timpone: Interesting. All right, it is forty nine after the hour, his name is Andreas Moritz and my name is Patrick Timpone and we are having a good conversation, hope you enjoying it we will be here till eight o’clock, he has written these books “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALL BLADDER FLUSH“, “CANCER IS NOT A DISEASE” and “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION“……….. We are with Andreas Moritz he is an Integrative medicine man, Ayurvedic medication really, he has been doing some great work for thirty years, right after the news at seven o’clock we are going to dive in to just give you the basic structure of how to do a liver and gallbladder flush because I know he has probably fascinated you in the last 45 minutes with the importance of this in 21st century and how critical it is that the liver is functioning at a 100 percent and how much of a challenge that is in the environment we live in, but there are always ways, there is always a way to take care of ourselves as we say on this show, there is always a way. Andreas, you say that cancer is not a disease. We only have a couple minutes here before the top of the break because we ran a long last segment. What is your opinion or what are the major causes of all these different cancers we see?
Andreas Moritz: Oh there are so many, there are causes such as lack of sunlight exposure, we now know that sixty seven percent of all cancers can be reversed according to the latest studies, simply by exposing a person to sunlight now you would not have such a high significant…
Patrick Timpone: Wow
Andreas Moritz: …growth if you had any number of chemotherapy radiation or surgery treatment.
Patrick Timpone: Now repeat that, repeat what you just said about sixty seven percent of cancer could actually be reversed by what?
Andreas Moritz: Sunlight.
Patrick Timpone: That is amazing !
Andreas Moritz: Sunlight induces the triggers, the release, of vitamin D, Vitamin D is actually not a vitamin, it is a hormone that the body is producing and if you make very little, if you have very little exposure to sunlight, you make so little vitamin D that your immune system is so depleted and weak that it cannot defend itself or balance itself. The body is not able to remove toxins waste products, carcinogens, harmful substances from that, otherwise it can trigger cancer.
Patrick Timpone: My goodness, so you mean, it would lead to that, with the life style that so many of us lead, getting up and going to work climbing in the car, doing eight hours, coming home…
Andreas Moritz: That is protected against
Patrick Timpone: yeah
Andreas Moritz: ..the sun. there is no plant that grows without proper sunlight. The body does not grow, every person has to grow. You turn over thirty billion cells per day that means you have to grow thirty billion new cells, now if you do not get the adequate amount of sunlight and sun exposure and trigger the release of enough of the vitamin D in your body, then your body cannot grow. Vitamin D is responsible for bone growth, for bone health, people’s osteoporosis, they need to be out in the sun otherwise there is no way they get stronger.
Patrick Timpone: That is amazing. Alright we are going to take a break here …………… okay we are going to flush out our liver and gall bladder, now this great stuff this is … that is amazing really, man, we get to do whatever we want, this is really, really good great stuff “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” is just one of the books that our guest Andreas Moritz has written. It is thirty five years at this game, or over thirty years, also has another book called “CANCER IS NOT A DISEASE” and “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION” Andreas Moritz, his website is ENER-CHI.com and this interview, because we will also be available on oneradionetwork.com as a podcast very soon, and then we will launch our subscription site or premium site which is going to have over hundred a twenty five interviews and we are in the process of getting all those ready so we have a lot of work to do. Andreas Moritz, for those of you who just joined us, Andreas painted a very, very interesting picture the first hour about how critically important this large organ, the liver, is to virtually every disease and every means of staying healthy in this world. It is just huge and he told us how by eating physiological foods that are just not natural and good for us, the chemicals and preservative and too much meat and the hydrochloric acid and all kinds of standard American diet kinds of foods and fried foods and processed foods and packaged foods and boxed foods that so much of America eats that causes the stones in the, actually, bile ducts of the liver and then the bile cannot flow, and then it just goes downhill from there, it is all keyed in with digestion. So over the years you developed, Andreas Moritz, a different program and there are lots of programs one can get on the internet and we have had people on the show like Annie Jubb who we interviewed last night on one radio network show at seven o’clock and is the basic idea with yours as similar to many where one takes a generous amount of olive oil to get these stones out?
Andreas Moritz: Yes, that is correct, there has to be a good amount of preparation before you start off.
Patrick Timpone: Is it, what kind of things do we have to do before we dive in, so to speak?
Andreas Moritz: Yeah you want to prepare soundly as possible, for example in my system it was to drink some malic acid to loosen, or apple juice, a fair amount of apple juice for about six days, that means you drink about a liter, that is more than a quart of that juice throughout the day to soften up the stones. Use malic acid from apple juice or apple cider vinegar or cranberry juice or the malic acid itself to soften up the stones so that you get the maximum amounts possible, or to liquefy them, make them so soft and so mushy, that they come out very easily in a large quantity and when you do the actual flush you prepare by using some Epsom salts to keep the bile duct relaxed so that when the stones come out they just will literally, just moving down the pipe, and without any problem. I personally had forty gallstone attacks before I did my first liver flush and I never had a gallstone attack after my first liver flush.
Patrick Timpone: And you had a great success with getting many stones out?
Andreas Moritz: I passed about three and a half thousand stones.
Patrick Timpone: Three and a half thousand stones!
Andreas Moritz: Yes. I had first stones when I was six years old.
Patrick Timpone: My god!
Andreas Moritz: And I used to faint, I had tremendous amount of pain in my body, especially right shoulder problems, neck problems, joint problems, arthritic conditions…
Patrick Timpone: Yeah
Andreas Moritz: And they all vanished completely, once my liver was completely clean, and the secret here is that you do not want to just do one flush or two or three, you want to flush until all the stones are gone…
Patrick Timpone: How often? You do that?
Andreas Moritz: yes
Patrick Timpone: How often you do the flush?
Andreas Moritz: Until all the stones gone.
Patrick Timpone: I mean like you do it once a week or once a month?
Andreas Moritz: You can do it once a month comfortably and it is done over a weekend, you take let’s say, on a Saturday you do the actual flush which starts at around six o’clock in the afternoon, in the evening, when you drink some Epsom salts and at eight o clock you drink some more Epsom salts and then at ten o’clock you take the oil mixture which would be olive oil and some lemon juice or orange juice or grape fruit juice and once you have drank that lie down immediately, and already that will be enough to trigger the gall bladder and squeeze out a lot of bile, so all the bile is starting to come out of the liver and the gall bladder at that time and brings along with it the stones that were trapped in the common bile duct and in the gall bladder.
Patrick Timpone: And then on an average, just a general idea, I am sure it depends on the individual, but how many stones come out at one flush?
Andreas Moritz: In my case usually there were between three hundred to five hundred stones there were some individuals that passed thousand stones in one sitting but mostly people pass between one-two hundred to five hundred stones.
Patrick Timpone: And how big are these stones?
Andreas Moritz: They can be anything from pinheads to pea size and chickpea size and almond size and even larger. My wife passed a calcified stone from the gall bladder, believe it or not that was two and a half inches!
Patrick Timpone: Two and a half inches!
Andreas Moritz: That was an enormous thing…
Patrick Timpone: So some of them are very, very old, so they get hard.
Andreas Moritz: Well, these are the ones that are found only in the gallbladder and these are the ones that when you go to an ultra sound…
Patrick Timpone: yes…
Andreas Moritz: …get an ultra sound done, you can see them, you cannot see the other ones… you cannot see the green ones, the intra-hepatic gallstones that John Hopkins University has a diagram on their website, you cannot see them because they are made of bile and bile is invisible to ultra sound.
Patrick Timpone: I see, so some of these stones are calcified so the doctors, the traditional conventional medicine people can see them.
Andreas Moritz: Right
Patrick Timpone: But there other ones are actually
Andreas Moritz: …invisible
Patrick Timpone: they are bile, but they are still problematic because they are blocking the…
Andreas Moritz: …hard bile, they are hardened bile…
Patrick Timpone: …hardened bile
Andreas Moritz: They are clots of bile, it is like blood clots, so it is like blood, you know that it is liquid normally but if it becomes hard it is a clot and you know what blood clots can do, they can cause strokes and heart attacks and they can do something similar to the liver they can congest the liver so much that the liver becomes actually fatty, it can no longer get rid of the cholesterol that it uses to make bile, which in the bile gets stuck, and it is building up and it is starting to penetrate the tissues of the liver and the liver becomes fatty and the liver eventually can go down to thirty six percent of its capacity where…
Patrick Timpone: My goodness!
Andreas Moritz: …you still do not find anything wrong with the liver, all the blood tests will give you a clean bill of health, and you are basically one percent down that is eighty five percent capacity your liver is dead.
Patrick Timpone: So is there a difference between flushing the liver and the gallbladder or is this all done in the same time?
Andreas Moritz: In the same time
Patrick Timpone: And they both have bile ducts they are stones or just the gall bladder ?
Andreas Moritz: The gallbladder has stones, just the same kinds of the stones as the liver, but it can also have the calcified gallstones which only appear in the gallbladder and never in the liver.
Patrick Timpone: I see. Oh, that is true, yeah, so that is pretty exciting. Is it uncomfortable, I am asking questions like I have never done it, folks, but I have done a lot of these, but I know these are the question you are asking, is it uncomfortable?
Andreas Moritz: No, absolutely not, you do not feel it until you pass the stones that literally end up in the toilet bowl. All you pass is water and stones the way the cleanse is designed, so you will literally see them floating in the toilet because these stones – the green ones or beige or whitish stones – they are the cholesterol stones they are made of cholesterol mostly and therefore they float, they are lighter than water so you can literally fish them out and you count them but it is very fascinating when people send me their pictures…
Patrick Timpone: I bet they do too
Andreas Moritz: Yeah
Patrick Timpone: I bet they do, I know my friend David Wolf this raw foodist, you tell me one day, you know, people send me pictures of the weirdest things that come out of their bodies when they start eating raw food and he said I do not know what they think I want these pictures for, but it is so funny when he says that people send him pictures of all the stuff
Andreas Moritz: I have pictures form all over the world
Patrick Timpone: I bet you do
Andreas Moritz: From Russia from china from India from everywhere
Patrick Timpone: isn’t that funny!
Andreas Moritz: they let the same stones everywhere
Patrick Timpone: same stones
Andreas Moritz: yeah
Patrick Timpone: let me ask you before the break because I am still fascinated about the sunlight, what you said about the sunlight is just amazing to me, that a huge percentage of cancers can actually be cured because of just getting under the sun and getting the vitamin D
Andreas Moritz: literally yeah
Patrick Timpone: my goodness!
Andreas Moritz: It is not just cancer as Johns Hopkins University the other day, they said if you are using sunlight you can prevent so many other illnesses. We now know that heart disease is reversible simply by exposing yourself to regular sunshine.
Patrick Timpone: well is there a lot less cancer in these kinds of things like in California and Florida where people get out more?
Andreas Moritz: no, people have less cancer the closer they are to the equator. There are studies out, American studies and Norwegian studies to actually show that if you have cancer, any kind of cancer, and if you are living in the northern part you are recovering much more slowly, and you have a higher incidence of cancer, you have the lowest incidence of cancer and multiple sclerosis and heart disease closer to the equator because people are exposed to more sunlight and you have the lowest skin cancer rate close to the equator, you have hardly any skin cancer in high altitudes where ultra radiation is the…
Patrick Timpone: that is fascinating!
Andreas Moritz: strongest. The people that have the most skin cancers are the people who do not get exposed to the sun, that live indoors, that use artificial lighting could be to work with, or indoor during the day even.
Patrick Timpone: That is fascinating. All right, we need to break here Andreas. Andreas Moritz. You can tell he has done a lot of research and really been at this a long time I think you will enjoy this book. If you’d like to give this a go, I certainly recommend getting the book first before you really read through it and get a good understanding, one of his books ”THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALL BLADDER FLUSH” Andreas Moritz, German, his website ENER-CHI.com. My name is Patrick Timpone.………….. with Andreas Moritz some cool stuff “CANCER IS NOT A DISEASE” is one book “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION” and ”THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” Andreas, let me ask you another question about allergies. There are so many allergies to gluten, to this to that, so many different allergies, such a test you can take with blood and all that, why do we become allergic to some foods?
Andreas Moritz: Basically certain kinds of foods, they are again as I mentioned before, they are not really physiological so if there are ingredients in these kinds of foods that are added – like MSG or aspartame or artificial sweeteners or some preservative – then the body will react to those and so the immune system has a reaction to try to get rid of that which can eventually produce antibodies and then those kinds of foods, the whole food that the entire food, will be rejected and this way a lot of people are intolerant to those, many are also over exposed to chemicals they are not just part of the food but the pesticides in food…
Patrick Timpone: right
Andreas Moritz: …that are also airborne substances and emotional factors which should never be underestimated
Patrick Timpone: sure
Andreas Moritz: Many, many people that were eating, let’s say, certain things at the dinner table when they grow up and the parents were fighting over certain things and every time that person would then, later in life, would eat the same kind of food, he will have an allergic reaction basically through the memory of having eaten that food twenty years before
Patrick Timpone: sure
Andreas Moritz: and having been very unhappy during that time
Patrick Timpone: but now some of these tests that are out there, I do not know about their accuracy, but why would a person who is relatively healthy for example come back and say “well you should be allergic to almonds or oranges or broccoli or milk.” How that can be?
Andreas Moritz: well, again if generally food is not digested well, the food, it becomes very toxic and then the immune system will be engaged and trying to get rid of that undigested food
Patrick Timpone: these antibodies that it produces
Andreas Moritz: the body will react, if you have already developed problems with the bile duct of your liver then you will not be able to digest your food properly when the immune system will react to the…
Patrick Timpone: I see, so it is a digestion issue here for all these?
Andreas Moritz: yeah
Patrick Timpone: pretty much
Andreas Moritz: ninety percent of the cases it is all purely digestive
Patrick Timpone: with allergic
Andreas Moritz: right yes
Patrick Timpone: allergic things
Andreas Moritz: and then the there are many, many other reasons why you can produce stones, these are simply you do not sleep well during the night time, the next day, you are not able to digest your food properly because your liver works between ten and two more than at any other time of the night and if you do not sleep during those four hours your liver will not be able to make bile to digest your food the next day
Patrick Timpone: very interesting
Andreas Moritz: so then you eat a big meal, most of it would remain undigested and your body has to react trying to get rid of the undigested food and when the body is constantly engaged in having to do that, then you will become intolerant to those kinds of foods and eventually develop severe allergies
Patrick Timpone: that is very fascinating. So folks, lot of the kids who take these allergy tests and they take a lot of prick tests and they stay off the foods and they go though this whole rigmarole but so you’re suggesting that if one can clean out their liver and the gallbladder, but why would a young child of fifteen or something, could they already be producing that?
Andreas Moritz: absolutely!
Patrick Timpone: really?
Andreas Moritz: yes
Patrick Timpone: really?
Andreas Moritz: actually a five year old Chinese girl and her seven year old sister do liver flushes and they passed a lot of stones
Patrick Timpone: at five years old?!
Andreas Moritz: They had so many allergies,
Patrick Timpone: my god
Andreas Moritz: asthma, and after they cleared the stones the asthma and the allergies completely disappeared. You can see in my own case, I had stones when I was six years old. And my mother had hepatitis three times before I was even born and so my liver was not very strong to begin with. The kinds of foods that people eat and they think they are healthy, just give a kid milk, cow’s milk to drink, it will produce a lot of stones…
Patrick Timpone: yes
Andreas Moritz: …in the liver and it is now known to cause diabetes. So if it can cause diabetes what else can it do?
Patrick Timpone: very fascinating. Okay we are going to break. Good stuff, Andreas, I am really pleased that you are here, Andreas Moritz. And my name is Patrick Timpone. We are having an amazing conversation with Andreas Moritz about his book and other books “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” if you just joined us, you want to make sure you get on the oneradionetwork.com and when we will launch our premium website you are going to be able to get podcasts of a hundreds different interviews and this will be one of them and this is worth ten months of subscription just to learn how to flush your gallbladder and Andreas, thank you for all your help tonight. I went to your website and we will put a link on our site, you got a great site and you do consultations over the phone…
Andreas Moritz: yes correct
Patrick Timpone: and you have some all your books on the website, you have a lot of books here
Andreas Moritz: oh absolutely and sleep, I mentioned sleep. One of the most powerful things recent research showed that nurses have a fifty times, fifty times, higher cancer rate because they are not getting enough sleep and they are not producing enough melatonin. When melatonin gets secreted around nine thirty and it peaks at midnight one o’clock and if you do not sleep during that time then you will become melatonin deficient and melatonin deficiency is now related with high risk of developing cancer, because melatonin controls a gene that controls the life cycles of cells so it tells the cells when to die and not to continue living and going on and on and on and on, which would mean they would develop into cancer cells, so the sleep is so important that just the other day again John Hopkins University came out with a piece of news proving that if you are not sleeping enough hours and that a typical American only sleeps only six to seven hours, so there is, actually five to seven hours and they were found to have a forty five percent higher heart attack rate. If you do not get enough sleep and you have a higher risk of developing strokes at a rate of sixty seven percent higher risk of developing a stroke because you are not sleeping enough. Now these are huge figures. Hypertension, for example, again in the body sudden change simply because you do not get enough sleep, if you added the sleep you would have a much less cancer risk, we know that much less heart disease much less diabetes we now know that diabetes, we know diabetes is very much related to sleep deprivation, not getting enough sleep, so it is virtually every kind of disease…
Patrick Timpone: what are some of your top reasons what causes sleeplessness in some?
Andreas Moritz: well it is not the sleeplessness, it is just people
Patrick Timpone: they are just going to bed late and waking up early.
Andreas Moritz: they go to bed every day at midnight they are missing out on the two hours before midnight sleep which is the most important time of the night, it is now known according to many research studies that it makes the immune system very weak. So gradually you become defenseless against the pathogens, the disease-causing germs.
Patrick Timpone: so getting into bed at ten is important
Andreas Moritz: oh it is absolutely vital and it used to keep people healthy, a hundred years ago only ten percent of the people had chronic illness. Today it is ninety percent of the people have chronic illness.
Patrick Timpone: ninety percent ?
Andreas Moritz: ninety percent.
Patrick Timpone: my god!
Andreas Moritz: so people develop chronic illness because they no longer live in harmony with the natural cycles, they have like chronic jet lag, it is as if they are travelling to Europe or to another country every single day and never recover from jet lag and that is basically out of touch with the circadian rhythm which controls plants, which controls animals, and it controls humans, and this, we are defying that as we live against the cycles of nature, then we obviously eventually get tired, we get fatigued, we get over fatigued, we go into a stress hormone response that after a while we can no longer relax, if you produce constantly adrenaline and noradrenaline and cholesterol and other stress hormones, your body will no longer be able to relax and be stress-free, it will constantly be agitated and nervous and anxious and that itself is not conducive to healing whatsoever, in fact, you cannot heal if you are under stress.
Patrick Timpone: all right it is seven forty two with Andreas Moritz, his website is ENER-CHI.com, look for their link on our site. And let’s go to Doug in downtown Austin. Doug, you got a question about gallbladder ?
Doug: yes I was diagnosed with, through ultra sound, with two gallstones that are too large to pass. And I am wondering how that would be affected by the flush which sounds very interesting.
Andreas Moritz: well, a lot of people including myself, I had a lot of calcified stones, in fact my gallbladder was completely packed full. So…
Patrick Timpone: wow
Andreas Moritz: …it is a difficult situation because you need some bile to actually expel stones but miraculously I did. Having had so many involuntary gall stone attacks, these stones just started coming out on their own after eating some fat, any fatty food and they were triggered by that. Now in your situation if you have only two stones it is not a big problem if you do liver flushes eventually they will come out, sometimes people pass them right away with the first flush and others after six or seven flushes but eventually they do come out and they come out painlessly, there is… you do not notice… you see the calcified stones, they will sink to the bottom of the toilet so you will see them sort of sitting at the very bottom.
Patrick Timpone: Doug how is it that you know, Doug, that you had the stones?
Doug: well I had a tremendous number of instances, not recently, but I had seventy during the first three months of last year.
Patrick Timpone: seventy what?
Doug: gallstone attacks and then one was lasted several days so I went to the ER and they did an ultra sound and determined that these two are too large to go though the bile duct
Patrick Timpone: what did they want to do?
Doug: they were saying that the only thing that will work is surgery.
Patrick Timpone: surgery!
Andreas Moritz: that is not quite true that they can’t go though the bile duct, it is just under normal conditions they do not and they get stuck and they cause a gallstone attack, and that is what you and I have experienced many, many times. Now when you do a liver flush it is very different, what you do is actually you push an enormous amount of bile out of your liver and gallbladder, and bile is very oily and the oily bile is like, when you want to get rid of, push a, get a ring from your finger and it does not come off and you put some oil on it will start moving, and like that, if you have a lot of bile and the bile ducts are relaxed that means they are not contracting which happens of you have an involuntary release of gallstones, then they would basically make the bile duct very tight, and then the gallstone cannot got through, whereas during a liver flush it is exactly the opposite your bile ducts are extremely relaxed because of the Epsom salts that you take and also because of the triggering of a large amount of bile that just moves the stones along with the bile, and the bile is so oily there is nothing that can hold the stones somewhere in the common bile duct
Patrick Timpone: and you trigger the bile by taking about, what is it, five ounces or eight ounces of olive oil?
Andreas Moritz: four ounces
Patrick Timpone: four ounces?
Andreas Moritz: ….of olive oil and a citrus fruit both of them are triggers for the gallbladder
Patrick Timpone: do you recommend taking enzymes with the oil so you do not get nauseous?
Andreas Moritz: no
Patrick Timpone: no?
Andreas Moritz: during that you want to keep it as simple as possible so that you literally just release stones without interfering with…
Patrick Timpone: you take the oil on an empty stomach or full?
Andreas Moritz: oh if you take it on a full stomach you will get violently nauseous.
Patrick Timpone: okay
Andreas Moritz: you will throw up.
Patrick Timpone: that I why some people, they recommend doing the enemas before
Andreas Moritz: yes and also…
Patrick Timpone: fasting that day maybe?
Andreas Moritz: you eat, you can eat until lunch time and then you do not eat anything after two o’clock and that make sure that the stomach is empty when you take the oil mixture.
Patrick Timpone: and you take the oil mixture at what time?
Andreas Moritz: ten o ‘clock in the evening
Patrick Timpone: now do you do that because that is the liver gallbladder time in the Chinese medicine?
Andreas Moritz: that is when the liver starts working, that is when you have the maximum release of stones and that is why you do not want to do it later or too early.
Patrick Timpone: Doug let me ask you I am just interested, you are a regular listener to the show?
Doug: yes
Patrick Timpone: you are. Does this sound might sound kind of wild to you, huh? And kind of out there? Or not?
Doug: well no.
Patrick Timpone: no?
Doug: it sounds like something that I am interested in trying, it certainly sounds preferable to surgery.
Andreas Moritz: I had a ninety year old man, he, they wanted to take his gall bladder out and he said you are not going to get my gall bladder and so he did the liver flush and right with his first flush he passed out all his calcified stones.
Patrick Timpone: I’ll be darned!
Andreas Moritz: and the guy was so happy and he got to keep his gall bladder at that age.
Patrick Timpone: at ninety years old!
Andreas Moritz: yeah
Patrick Timpone: my goodness!
Doug: I would like to keep the gall bladder but lets get rid of the stones.
Patrick Timpone: yeah, yeah.
Andreas Moritz: you definitely want to keep the gall bladder. It is not necessary to get it cut out because once you have the gall bladder removed, you end up having a lot of problems , the risk of cancer goes up you become more like a, to, you are going to accumulate a lot more weight and there is only a trickle of bile, like drops of bile, constantly leaking out of your liver instead of being collected by the gall bladder and being controlled in the release in order to digest your food so you will always develop major digestive problems more so than you may have now.
Patrick Timpone: ok gentlemen, we need to break here so
Doug: thanks I will give it a try.
Patrick Timpone: thanks for the call. It is forty eight after seven o’clock forty eight after that…….Andreas Moritz. Lots of books. This one we talking about a lot and it is called “THE AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH” that you can get on Andreas’ website, his website ENER-CHI.com, it is a great website and he has got all those books and he is very, very prolific man. I do not know how he has time to flush his gall bladder with writing all these books but you know he does that. Andreas, thanks so much for being here tonight.
Andreas Moritz: Oh it is my pleasure.
Patrick Timpone: That is great good job. We hope you will come back again sometime
Andreas Moritz: Oh yes
Patrick Timpone: And you do phone consultation and people can contact you though your website?
Andreas Moritz: Right
Patrick Timpone: ENER-CHI.com. We will put a link up. Now we only have a couple of minutes left but in that time maybe a list for some of your favorite foods, some of the best foods that we can kind of eat just two or three or four of those and some of the worst foods, just for fun.
Andreas Moritz: Well the best foods are really they are of the vegetable origin. I eat a lot of, plenty of fresh, fresh vegetables, with some spices and some fats like olive oil or coconut oil or butter and some unrefined sea salt and eat them with some grain foods at lunch time and preceded by salad, yeah fresh salad with lettuce, cucumber, avocado, olive oil, lemon juice and salt and then some beans perhaps as well or some nuts and seeds, and so I love those kinds of foods and in the evening I have a vegetable soup with some toast with bread with butter on it, and that is all freshly done and in the morning I have some oatmeal, I never get bored with it
Patrick Timpone: Yeah, oatmeal, you got to have oatmeal.
Andreas Moritz: With rice milk or almond milk or Sens milk and some butter in it and some maple syrup or some agave syrup or salados sugar and it is delicious with some nuts in it. Mid morning I have some fruit and so I eat all those kinds of foods and it’s the typical Mediterranean types of foods. I have lived in Cyprus for fifteen years in the Mediterranean and I was amazed how healthy these people are in those villages eating exactly those types of food.
Patrick Timpone: So you do not indulge in any kind of flesh food at all?
Andreas Moritz: No, I stopped eating any kind of protein food since I was very ill and they gave me a year to live.
Patrick Timpone: And you get plenty of protein ?
Andreas Moritz: You do not need to eat protein in order to make protein why would nature not put protein in breast milk for the first sixteen months of a baby that triples its size in the first sixteen months? Why would nature only put 1.4 percent protein in it?
Patrick Timpone: Andreas, we have to go…
Andreas Moritz: Okay
Patrick Timpone: Thank you so much, sir.
Andreas Moritz: Most welcome
Patrick Timpone: Oh, it’s been a pleasure. Please have a good night, sir.
Andreas Moritz: You too
Patrick Timpone: Andreas Moritz. ENER-CHI.com Kenny Willmar is next, my name is Patrick Timpone. Take care.

Does craving for sweets and starchy foods indicate diabetes?
The answer is not really. However, it can indicate the stage of pre-diabetes. Having cravings for sweets and starchy food shows that there is something not quite balanced with regard to processing complex carbohydrates or storing complex sugars in the muscles and in the liver and it usually indicates that the liver functions are subdued due to bile duct congestion with intra-hepatic gallstones where the bile is not properly released in order to digest foods such as fats that are required to digest carbohydrates so for example, if you eat some rice and you put some butter on it or olive oil and there is not enough bile coming out then the fat is not digested and, without the fat the carbohydrates cannot be digested, and these carbohydrates or complex sugars cannot be broken down in to the glucose that you need in order to fire or nourish or activate the activities or perform the activities in the cells. So as a result, there is a shortage of glucose on a cellular level and the cells will signal to your brain that “Hey, you need to give me more glucose”, so the brain interprets that, or you rather interprets that as “Oh, I need some sweet carbohydrates’, something that can replenish that lack of sugar on a cellular level. So having cravings like that just indicates there is a metabolic issue that your liver is not performing as well because of not producing enough bile to make the digestion of fats more efficient. This, however, can lead to a buildup also of sugars in the blood stream that are not removed, so the more sugar that you eat, the less actually you can make available to the cells, so overeating can also lead to this self-fulfilling prophecy of becoming over-sugared or too sweet which is another way of saying ‘diabetes’.
So, diabetes is… it is not really a disease, but it is a corrective mechanism that the body protects itself against an overload of sugar that could also lead to excessive production of insulin, and insulin when it gets close to the cells can cause inflammation of the cells, so, you do not want to be overexposed to insulin. So in order to reduce that, the body will… the cells in the body will start closing the doors to insulin and that shutting off of the insulin will also prevent the insulin transporting sugar into the cells, and as a result there will be cravings for sugar and for glucose or sugar and that will lead to wanting to eat more of the same. So, diabetes itself, definitely, can lead to the sugar cravings but it is often more than the other way around that, the sugar cravings indicate that there is a lack of sugar uptake, either because the body is protecting itself against insulin or simply because you have been overeating the sugar which can lead to more sugar deprivation, and sugar itself if you eat too much of it can definitely lead to bile duct congestion which in turn prevents the proper digestion of fats and without the fats being digested properly you cannot digest carbohydrates properly and that in itself can again lead to sugar deficiency on a cellular level.
So one way or another the best way to stop this vicious cycle is to clean out the liver and make changes to the diet such as introducing more healthy foods to it that are indicated in “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION“. Eating foods that are suitable for your particular body type, and you can find out what body type you are from reading this book and that will help you give your body more of what it really wants, and as a result, cravings will lessen because the body will be satisfied on a cellular level with what it receives and it therefore does not have to crave other things. Sometimes when people say “I have a sweet tooth, that is just me!!”, that is not really true, I have helped many, many people who had a sweet tooth for twenty years and then from one day to the next by making some subtle changes to the diet or by cleaning out the liver they have had no cravings whatsoever ever again.
So I hope this becomes helpful to you and I wish you a very sweet, happy day.

This is a question from Kristy, she says, my nose is scabbing at night when I sleep. I put olive oil inside and it help for a bit but then I continue to get the bloody scabs. She says, in the past I have tested for antibiotic resistance staff in the nose, how can I heal what is happening inside there now without further antibiotics? I also have chemical sensitivities.
You basically answered your own question. The use of antibiotics for whatever reason is creating an imbalance in the bacteria in your gut; that means you are destroying the probiotic bacteria that are responsible for keeping your digestion going and to prevent the production of excessive amounts of toxins. When you have more destructive bacteria than probiotic, healthy beneficial bacteria, then this excessively and destructive bacteria produce a lot of toxins, and, these toxins they are making their way into the blood and they can cause destructive process where cells are damaged, weakened or die as a result of exposure to these poisonous substances when the liver is not capable of removing those toxins and noxious substances from the blood, then, there is acceleration particularly in the parts of the body that have to so with elimination such as, the nasal track can be used for removing toxins through mucus that is produced from the area of the throat all the way up to the nose, and so when the body has a lack of ability to remove toxins freely and easily then other parts of the body need to help process these toxins away from the vital organs and unfortunately the nose can be a victim of that survival or corrective mechanism.
So the answer to your question is you will need to clean out the bile ducts of the liver get rid of the stones that have accumulated in response to antibiotic use in the past and also probably other medications that you may have had, and also foods that you have eaten that created an imbalance in the digestive system in the first place. So I would suggest, do a series of liver and gallbladder flushes which will help to generate and release more bile, in the presence of bile, probiotic, healthy beneficial bacteria, can re-grow that means, those that have been destroyed by the antibiotics, and this way you can gradually replenish these essential bacteria that will then allow also the lining in your nasal track to be regenerated so that healthy cells can grow without being prematurely attacked by toxins that were originally generated by the destructive bacteria in your gut and I hope that this will help you.
Different kinds of stones that are released in the Liver Flush
Hi, this is a question from Denise and she is asking what kinds of stones being released or emitted during a liver flush? She has a client who has just finished her 8th liver cleanse and she continues to release many large and small green, yellow, brown stones, but this time released dense light yellow ten clumps that were of a quarter inch to one inch or by one eighth of an inch and she is wondering what kind of stones they were…
There can be all kinds of stones in different colors and sizes and different density, it depends where they originate from. Many stones, most of the stones, originate from the bile ducts in the liver and these tend to be dark green ones; very dark greens are very old stones, black stones are very old stones, there can be red stones which are bilirubin stones again originating from the liver.
However the beige whitish stones that are dense, that are harder, they are either semi- calcified stones where they have a green center in the middle of the stones, and they are surrounded by a sort of a crust that has yellowish whitish tan color to it. The semi-calcified stones may still float in the toilet because the inner core which is made of cholesterol, the same kind of stones that you find coming out of the liver, but when they are semi-calcified then they come from the gallbladder.
If you cut through them and you will see sort of the various layers of these stones and the surrounding harder crust. However, if they are not crusted and there is no hard crust to it, then they can be cholesterol crystals that are surrounding sort of an inner core of green cholesterol stones, these cholesterol crystals tend to color the stone whitish or light beige and this would account for those kinds of stones. The size is irrelevant, in that respect, you can produce any kind of stone size, there are stones that can be golf ball sizes, so you cannot really differentiate between them; they can be calcified large stones and they can be non-calcified large stones either way, it is good to get them out of the gallbladder and the liver because they are highly obstructive and they prevent the liver from detoxifying the blood and detoxifying the rest of the body, and also, of course, the blocked bile flow produces many digestive ailments such as constipation, irritation, ulcerations, irritable bowel syndrome, stomach problems which reduce the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. There are so many different problems that arise from these kinds of stones and it is good to get them out quickly so that your liver can restore the rest of the functions in the body that have diminished due to the presence of these stones in the bile ducts and in the gall bladder.
Thank you.

Nearly all skin diseases such as eczema, acne and psoriasis, have one factor in common: gallstones in the liver. Almost every person with a skin disease also has intestinal problems and impure blood, in particular. These are mainly caused by gallstones and the harmful effects they have on the body as a whole. Gallstones contribute to numerous problems throughout the body – particularly in the digestive, circulatory and urinary systems. In its attempt to eliminate what the colon, kidneys, lungs, liver and lymphatic system were unable to remove or detoxify, the skin becomes flooded and overburdened with acidic waste. Although it is the largest organ of elimination in the body, it eventually succumbs to the acid assault. The toxic material is first deposited in the connective tissue underneath the dermis. When this ‘waste depot’ is saturated, the skin begins to malfunction.
Excessive amounts of noxious substances, cell debris, microbes from different sources, such as gallstones, and various antigens from improperly digested foods congest the lymphatic system and inhibit proper lymph drainage from the various layers of the skin. The toxins and putrefying protein from damaged or destroyed skin cells attract microbes and become a source for constant irritation and inflammation of the skin. Skin cells begin to suffer malnutrition, which may greatly reduce their normal interval of turnover (about once every month). This may also cause extensive damage to skin nerves.
If the sebaceous glands, which pour their secretion, sebum, into the hair follicles, become nutrient deficient, hair growth becomes abnormal and, in particular, scalp hair may fall out. When melanin supply becomes deficient, the hair turns gray. Sebum deficiency also alters the healthy texture of the hair and makes it look dull and unattractive. On the skin, sebum acts as a bactericidal and fungicidal agent, preventing the invasion of microbes. It also prevents drying and cracking of the skin, especially when exposed to sunshine and hot, dry air.
Genetic predisposition towards developing baldness or any other skin disorders is not a major causative factor, as is often assumed. Healthy skin functions are restored and hair growth, particularly among women, is returned to normal once all gallstones are removed and the colon and kidneys/bladder are kept clean.
Female and male reproductive systems both depend largely on smooth functioning of the liver. Gallstones in the liver obstruct the movement of bile through the bile ducts, which impairs digestion and distorts the structural framework of liver lobules. This diminishes the liver’s production of serum albumin. Serum albumin is the most common and abundant protein in the blood responsible for maintaining plasma osmotic pressure at its normal level of 25mmHg, and clotting factors, essential for coagulation of blood. Insufficient osmotic pressure cuts down the supply of nutrients to the cells, including those of the reproductive organs. This may lead to reduced lymph drainage and, subsequently, to fluid retention and edema, as well as retention of metabolic waste and gradual impairment of sexual functions.
Most diseases of the reproductive system result from improper lymph drainage. The thoracic duct (see Disorders of the Circulatory System) drains lymph fluid from all organs of the digestive system, including the liver, spleen, pancreas, stomach and intestines. This large duct often becomes severely congested when gallstones in the liver lead to disturbed digestion and absorption of food. It is obvious, yet hardly ever recognized, that congestion in the thoracic duct affects the organs of the reproductive system; they, too, need to empty their lymphatic waste products into the thoracic duct.
Impaired lymphatic drainage from the female pelvic area of the body is responsible for suppressed immunity, menstrual problems, PMT, menopausal symptoms, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), cervicitis, all uterine diseases, vulvar dystrophies with growth of fibrous tissue, ovarian cysts and tumors, cell destruction, hormone deficiencies, low libido, infertility, and genetic mutations of cells leading to cancer. Thoracic blockage may also lead to lymph congestion in the left breast, leaving deposits of noxious substances that can cause inflammation, lump formation and even tumors. If the right lymphatic duct, which drains lymph from the right half of the thorax, head, neck and right arm, becomes congested, toxins are retained in the right breast, leading to similar problems there.
A continuous restriction of lymph drainage from the male pelvic area causes benign and malignant prostate enlargement, and inflammation of the testes, penis and urethra. Impotence is a likely consequence of this development. The consistent increase of gallstones in the liver, a common factor among middle-aged men in affluent societies, is one of the major reasons for lymph blockage in this vital part of the body. Venereal diseases occur when there is a high level of toxicity in the exposed area due to lymph blockage, prior to microbial infection. The collapsing capacity of the lymphatic system to repel invading organisms causes most reproductive and sexual disorders.
By removing all gallstones from the liver and taking recourse to a healthy diet and lifestyle, lymphatic activity can return to normal. The reproductive tissue receives improved nourishment and becomes more resistant. Infections subside; cysts, fibrous tissue and tumors are broken down and removed; sexual functions are restored.

There are three types of joints in our body: fibrous or fixed joints, cartilaginous or slightly movable joints and synovial or freely movable joints. The most susceptible to disease are the joints of the hands, feet, knees, shoulders, elbows and hips. The most commonly found diseases include rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and gout.
Most people with rheumatoid arthritis have a long history of intestinal complaints: bloatedness, flatulence, heartburn, belching, constipation, diarrhea, coldness and swelling of hands and feet, increased perspiration, general fatigue, loss of appetite, weight reduction, etc. It is reasonable, therefore, to conclude that rheumatoid arthritis is linked with any of these, or similar symptoms of major intestinal and metabolic difficulties. I have personally experienced all of the symptoms mentioned here when I suffered bouts of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis during my childhood years.
The gastro-intestinal tract is constantly exposed to a large number of viruses, bacteria and parasites. In addition to the many antigens (foreign material) contained in foods, the digestive system may also have to deal with insecticides, pesticides, hormones, antibiotic residues, preservatives and colorings contained in so many foodstuffs today. Other possible antigens include pollen from flowers, plants, plant antibodies, fungi, bacteria and some large molecule drugs, such as penicillin. It is the task of the immune system, most of which is located in the intestinal wall, to protect us against all of these potentially harmful invaders and substances. To be able to accomplish this task on a daily basis, both the digestive and lymphatic systems must remain unobstructed and efficient. Gallstones in the liver seriously disturb the digestive process, which leads to an overload of toxic substances in the blood and lymph, as mentioned above (see Disorders of the Circulatory System).
Arthritis is considered to be an auto-immune disease affecting the synovial membrane. Auto-immunity, a condition in which the immune system develops immunity to its own cells, results when antigen/antibody complexes (rheumatoid factors) are formed and present in the blood. Naturally, the B-lymphocytes (immune cells) in the intestinal wall become stimulated and produce antibodies (immunoglobulins) when coming into contact with these antigens. The immune cells circulate in the blood and some settle in the lymph nodes, spleen, mucous membrane of the salivary glands, lymphatic system of the bronchial tubes, vagina or uterus, milk-producing mammary glands of the breasts and capsular tissues of the joints.
If there is repeated exposure to the same types of toxic antigens, antibody production will increase dramatically, particularly in areas where immune cells have settled due to a previous encounter with the invaders. These harmful antigens may consist of protein particles from putrefying animal foods, for example. In such a case, there can be intense microbial activity. The new encounter with the antigens raises the level of antigen/antibody complexes in the blood and upsets the fine balance that exists between the immune reaction and its suppression. Auto-immune diseases, which indicate an extremely high level of toxicity in the body, directly result from a disturbance of this balance. If antibody production is continually high in synovial joints, inflammation becomes chronic, leading to increasing deformity, pain and loss of function. The body only attacks itself if the toxicity could cause more damage than an auto-immune response would. Gallstones in the liver are the leading cause of toxicity. They can paralyze the body’s ability to keep itself nourished and clean.
Osteoarthritis is a degenerative non-inflammatory disease. It occurs when the renewal of articular cartilage (a smooth, strong surface, covering bones that are in contact with other bones) does not keep pace with its removal. The articular cartilage gradually becomes thinner until, eventually, the bony articular surfaces come into contact and the bones begin to degenerate. Abnormal bone repair and chronic inflammation may follow this form of injury. This disease is also caused by long-standing digestive disorder.
Gout, which is another joint disease directly connected to weak liver performance, is caused by sodium urate crystals in joints and tendons. Gout occurs in some people whose blood uric acid is abnormally high. When gallstones in the liver begin to affect blood circulation in the kidneys (see Urinary Disorders), uric acid excretion becomes inefficient. This also causes increased cell damage and cell destruction in the liver and kidneys, as well as in other parts of the body.
Uric acid is a waste product of the breakdown of cell nuclei and is produced in excess with increased cell destruction. Smoking cigarettes, drinking alcoholic beverages regularly, using stimulants, etc., cause marked cell destruction which releases large quantities of degenerate cell protein into the blood stream. In addition, uric acid production rises sharply with over-consumption of protein foods, such as meat, fish, eggs, cheese, etc. Incidentally, all of the aforementioned foods and substances lead to gallstone formation in the liver and gallbladder. There may be several acute attacks of arthritis before damage of joints decreases mobility and the gout condition becomes chronic.

Although bone is the hardest tissue in the body, it is, nevertheless, very much alive. Human bone consists of 20% water, 30-40% organic material, such as living cells, and 40-50% inorganic material, such as calcium. Bone tissue harbors many blood and lymph vessels, and nerves. The cells responsible for balanced bone growth are the osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Osteoblasts are the bone-forming cells, whereas osteoclasts are responsible for resorption of bone to maintain optimum shape. A third group of cells, known as chondrocytes, are in charge of forming cartilage. Red bone marrow, which produces red and white blood cells, is located in the less dense parts of the bone, called cancellous bone.
Most bone diseases occur when bone cells no longer receive enough nourishment. Gallstones in the liver always lead to lymph congestion in the intestinal tract and, consequently, in other parts of the body (see Disorders of the Circulatory System). Good bone health results from the sustained balance between the functions of osteoblast and osteoblast cells. This delicate balance becomes disturbed when deficient nutrient supply slows the production of new bone tissue by osteoblasts. Osteoporosis results when the amount of bone tissue is reduced because growth of new bone does not keep pace with destruction of old bone. Cancellous bone is usually affected before compact bone is. Compact bone makes up the outer layer of the bone.
In generalized osteoporosis, excess calcium is reabsorbed from bone, thereby raising the calcium levels of blood and urine. This may predispose a person to form stones in the kidneys and, eventually, suffer renal failure. Gallstones in the liver substantially reduce bile production. Bile is essential for the absorption of calcium from the small intestines. Even if there were plenty of calcium made available from one’s food or through food supplements, shortage of bile renders much of the ingested calcium useless for bone formation and other important metabolic processes. In addition, the presence of gallstones in the liver raises the level of harmful acids in the blood, some of which are neutralized by calcium released from the bones and teeth. Eventually, these calcium reserves become depleted, diminishing bone density or bone mass. This may lead to bone and hip fractures, and even death. With over half of all women over age 50 already affected by osteoporosis (albeit only in industrialized nations), it is obvious that the current approach of taking hormones or calcium supplements is a shot in the dark; it does in no way address the causal imbalance in the liver and gallbladder.
Rickets and osteomalacia are diseases that affect the calcification process of bones. In either case, the bones become soft, especially those of the lower limbs, which become bowed by the weight of the body. The fat-soluble Vitamin D, calciferol, is essential for balanced calcium and phosphorus metabolism and, therefore, healthy bone structures. Insufficient bile secretion and disturbance of the cholesterol metabolism, both of which are caused by gallstones in the liver, lead to Vitamin D deficiency. Lack of exposure to ultraviolet light further aggravates the situation.
Infection of bones, or osteomyelitis, may result when there has been a prolonged lymphatic obstruction in the body, especially in or around bone tissues. Consequently, blood-borne microbes gain unhindered access to bones. The microbes may originate from gallstones, a tooth abscess or a boil.
Malignant tumors of the bone can occur when lymphatic congestion in the body and the bones, especially, has reached extreme proportions. The immune system is depressed and malignant tumor particles from the breasts, lungs or prostate gland can spread to those bones that have the best blood supply, i.e., the cancellous bone. Bone cancer and all other diseases of the bone signify lack of nourishment of bone tissue. They usually defy treatment unless all gallstones in the liver are removed and all other organs and systems of elimination are cleared from any existing obstruction as well.

The urinary system is a very important excretory system of the body. It consists of: two kidneys which form and excrete urine; two ureters which convey the urine from the kidneys to the urinary bladder; a urinary bladder where urine collects and is temporarily stored; and, a urethra through which urine is discharged from the urinary bladder to the exterior of the body (see Figure 1).
Figure 1: The Urinary System
Smooth functioning of the urinary system is essential for maintaining the appropriate balance between water and substances dissolved in it, as well as between acid and alkalis. This system is also involved in the disposal of waste products resulting from the breakdown (catabolism) of cell protein in the liver, for example.
Most diseases of the kidneys and other parts of the urinary system are related to an imbalance of simple filtration in the kidneys. About 26-40 gallons (100-150 liters) of dilute filtrate are formed each day by the two kidneys. Of these, 34-52 ounces (1-1.5 liters) are excreted as urine. With the exception of blood cells, platelets and blood proteins, all other blood constituents must pass through the kidneys. The process of filtration is disrupted and weakened by poor performance of the digestive system, and the liver in particular.
Gallstones in the liver and gallbladder reduce the amount of bile necessary to digest food properly. Much of the undigested food begins to ferment and putrefy, leaving toxic waste matter in the blood and lymph. The body’s normal excretions, such as urine, sweat, gases and feces do not usually contain disease-generating waste products; that is, of course, for as long as the passages of elimination remain clear and unobstructed. Disease-causing agents consist of tiny molecules that appear in the blood and lymph, and can be made visible only by powerful electron microscopes.
These molecules have a strong acidifying effect on the blood. To avoid a life-threatening disease or coma, the blood must rid itself of these minute toxins. Accordingly, it dumps these unwanted intruders into the connective tissue of the organs. The connective tissue is a gel-like fluid (lymph) that surrounds the cells. The cells are ‘bathed’ in the connective tissue. Under normal circumstances, the body knows how to deal with acidic waste material that has been deposited in the connective tissue. It releases an alkaline product, sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), into the blood that is able to retrieve and neutralize the acidic toxins and eliminate them through the excretory organs. This emergency system, however, begins to fail when toxins are deposited faster than can be retrieved and eliminated. Consequently, the connective tissue may become as thick as jelly; nutrients, water and oxygen can no longer pass freely and the cells of the organs begin to suffer malnutrition, dehydration and oxygen deficiency.
Some of the most acidic compounds are proteins from animal foods. Gallstones inhibit the liver’s ability to break down these proteins. Excessive proteins are temporarily stored in the connective tissues and then converted into collagen fiber. The collagen fiber is built into the basement membranes of the capillary walls. Consequently, the basement membranes may become ten times as thick as normal. A similar situation occurs in the arteries. As the blood vessel walls become increasingly congested, fewer proteins are able to escape the blood stream. This leads to blood thickening, making it more and more difficult for the kidneys to filter it. At the same time, the basement membranes of the blood vessels supplying the kidneys also become congested. As this process of hardening of the blood vessels progresses further, blood pressure starts to rise and overall kidney performance drops. Ever-increasing amounts of metabolic waste excreted by kidney cells, normally eliminated via venous blood vessels and lymphatic ducts, are held back and, in turn, increase thickness of the cell membranes.
Through all of this, the kidneys become overburdened and can no longer maintain normal fluid and electrolyte balance. In addition, there may be precipitation of urinary components that form into crystals and stones of various types and sizes (see Figure 2). Uric acid stones, for example, are formed when uric acid concentration in the urine exceeds the level of 2-4 mg %. This amount was still considered within the range of tolerance until the mid-1960s. Uric acid is a by-product of the breakdown of protein in the liver. Since meat consumption rose sharply at that time, the ‘within the norm’ level has been adjusted to 7.5 mg %. Yet this adjustment does not make uric acid less dangerous for the body. Stones formed from excessive uric acid (also see ‘Bladder stones’ in Figure 3) can lead to urinary obstruction, kidney infection and, eventually, kidney failure.
As kidney cells become increasingly deprived of vital nutrients, including oxygen, malignant tumors may develop. In addition, uric acid crystals that are not eliminated by the kidneys can settle in the joints and cause rheumatism, gout and water retention.
Symptoms of impending kidney trouble are often deceptively mild in comparison to the potential severity of kidney disease. The most observable and common symptoms of kidney problems are abnormal changes in the volume, frequency and coloration of the urine. These are usually accompanied by swelling of the face and ankles, and pain in the upper back. If the disease has progressed further, there may be blurred vision, tiredness, falling off in performance, and nausea. The following symptoms may also indicate malfunctioning of the kidneys: high blood pressure, low blood pressure, pain moving from the upper to lower abdomen, dark brown urine, pain in the back just above the waist, excessive thirst, increase in urination, especially in night time, less than 500ml urine per day, feeling of fullness in the bladder and pain passing urine, drier and browner skin pigment, ankles puffy at night, eyes puffy in morning, bruising and hemorrhage.
Figure 2: Kidney stones imbedded in kidney
All major diseases of the urinary system are caused by toxic blood; in other words, by blood filled with tiny molecules of waste material and excessive proteins. Gallstones in the liver impair digestion, cause blood and lymph congestion and disrupt the entire circulatory system, including that of the urinary system. By removing the gallstones, the urinary system has a chance to recuperate, rid itself of existing accumulated toxins, stones, etc., and maintain fluid balance and normal blood pressure. This is necessary for all the processes in the body to run smoothly and efficiently. There may be a strong need to also cleanse the kidneys (see The Kidney Cleanse in Chapter 5 of The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush).

Both mental and physical health depend on the effectiveness and vitality of the cells in the body. Most of the energy required by the cells is derived from chemical reactions that can only take place in the presence of oxygen. One of the resultant waste products is carbon dioxide. The respiratory system provides the routes by which sufficient oxygen is taken into the body and carbon dioxide is excreted from the body. Blood serves as the transport system for the exchange of these gases between the lungs and the cells.
Gallstones in the liver can impair respiratory functions and cause allergies, disorders of the nose, nasal cavities and diseases of the bronchi and lungs. When gallstones distort the lobules (units) of the liver, the blood-cleansing ability of the liver, small intestine, lymphatic system and immune system weakens. Waste material and toxic substances, normally rendered harmless by these organs and systems, now begin to seep into the heart, lungs, bronchi and other respiratory passages. Constant exposure to these irritating agents lowers the resistance of the respiratory system against them. Lymph congestion in the abdominal region, particularly in the cysterna chyli and thoracic duct, hampers proper lymphatic drainage from the respiratory organs. Most respiratory ailments occur as a consequence of such lymph blockages.
Pneumonia results when protective measures fail to prevent inhaled or blood-borne microbes from reaching and colonizing the lungs. Gallstones harbor harmful microbes, as well as very toxic, irritating material, which can enter the blood via the damaged liver sites. Gallstones are, therefore, a constant source of immune suppression, which leaves the body, and particularly the upper respiratory tract, susceptible to both internal and external disease-causing factors. These include both blood-borne and air-borne microbes (believed to cause pneumonia), cigarette smoke, alcohol, X-rays, corticosteroids, allergens, antigens, common pollutants, etc.
Further respiratory complications arise when handfuls of gallstones accumulating in the liver bile ducts enforce an enlargement of the liver. The liver, situated in the upper abdominal cavity, spans almost the entire width of the body. Its upper and anterior surfaces are smooth and curved to fit under the surface of the diaphragm. When enlarged, the liver obstructs the movement of the diaphragm and prevents the lungs from extending to their normal capacity during inhalation. By contrast, a healthy liver permits the lungs to extend into the abdominal region, which puts pressure on the abdomen. Consequently, the abdomen moves forward, as can be seen in healthy babies, especially. Due to the increased expansion of the abdomen during inhalation, blood and lymph are pressed upward towards the heart, which helps maintain proper circulation. An enlarged liver prevents full extension of the diaphragm and lungs, which causes reduced exchange of gases in the lungs, lymphatic congestion and retention of excessive amounts of carbon dioxide in the lungs. The restricted intake of oxygen affects cellular functions throughout the body.
Most people in the industrialized world have an enlarged liver. What is generally considered to be a ‘normal-size’ liver is actually oversized. Once all gallstones are removed through a series of liver flushes, the liver returns to its normal size within about six months.
Almost all diseases of the lungs, bronchi and upper respiratory passages are either caused or worsened by gallstones in the liver, and can be improved or cured by eliminating these stones through the liver cleanse.
