General Guidelines About Diet and Daily Eating Habits According To Ayurveda

Since most doctors only know how to treat the effects of illness and not its causes, you may need to take your health into you own hands. Foods have an almost immediate effect on the body. In fact, it is known that the body’s biochemistry changes within several minutes of eating a meal.

If you eat something that is outright harmful to you, your stomach will signal indigestion. Some foods can be even more damaging than just causing heartburn. Research has shown that eating meat in the evening can trigger a heart attack in the morning.

Here are the common guidelines about a healthy diet and eating habits according to the principles of Ayurveda:

    • A half teaspoon of grated ginger taken with a pinch of salt is an excellent appetizer and kindles AGNI, the digestive fire. Splashing cool water over your face, neck, and hands before meals also stimulates AGNI.
    • Eat in a settled environment and quiet atmosphere, with a settled mind. Your company and environment should be pleasant. Do not work, listen to music, read or watch TV during meals.
    • Always sit down to eat. Eat at roughly the same times each day.
    • Eat neither too quickly nor too slowly (about 20 minutes) and without interruption.
    • Eat to about ¾ of your stomach capacity at your biggest meal; this equals the amount of your two cupped hands full. Ideally, one third of the meal should consist of liquid food of a soupy consistency.
    • Avoid eating a meal or snack before the previous meal has been digested, unless it is a piece of fruit. Allow approximately 3 to 6 hours between meals, depending upon the types of food consumed.
    • If you desire to drink anything with your meals, it is best to sip a little hot or warm water. Also avoid drinking large quantities of liquids right before and within the first 2 hours after meals.
    • Drinking excessive amounts of water (3-4 liters a day) may produce obesity, kidney disorders and mineral/vitamin deficiencies, whereas drinking too little water causes dehydration. To meet the minimum requirements for water, drink 6-8 glasses of water (at room temperature or warm) each day. You may need to increase the amount during hot, dry weather, when exercising or during stressful times in your life. If the color of your urine is dark yellow, drink more water; if colorless, drink less.
    • Consuming cold foods, such as ice cream, and drinking iced beverages may reduce your resistance to disease, impair AGNI and cause mucus congestion.
    • The diet should be balanced by including all six tastes – sweet, sour, salty, pungent (spices), bitter and astringent – in at least one meal per day. However, check the previous section concerning specific taste requirements and physiological needs or imbalances for your particular body type.
    • It is best not to heat or cook with honey; heat destroys it and makes it toxic.
    • Never eat just before going to bed. To avoid developing sleeping disorders, there should be at least three hours between eating and sleeping. If your bedtime is 10:00 p.m., eat no later than 6:00 p.m.
    • Chew your food thoroughly – the digestive process starts in the mouth.
    • Ayurveda does not favor the intake of too much raw food like raw vegetables, uncooked oat flakes, uncooked grains, etc. Fruits are an exception as they are already ‘cooked’ or ripened by the sun. The Pitta type is the only one among the body types who is able to digest more raw foods.
    • It is best not to eat when the mind is dominated by strong emotions such as anger, worry or sorrow. Wait until it has become more settled, since the digestive system does not work under stress.
    • Sleeping after meals causes sluggishness and increases Kapha and body weight. However, it is good to rest for about 10 minutes after meals and, if possible, to go for a 10 to 15 minute walk.
    • Food should always be delicious and pleasing to the senses and should be prepared by a happy cook.

Hi, this is a question with regard to chemtrails and Nairoli, she is asking how the knowledge that I provide can be applied to chemtrails that have been sprayed on us almost on a day to day basis.

Now whenever you look up in the sky and you see these chemtrails these are not just water vapor or ice crystals that come out at such high altitudes when airplanes fly in the sky, these are chemicals that are being released from tanks within aircraft, often military aircraft that on purpose does spray those chemicals.

This is part of the weather control programs that the government is using throughout… governments throughout the world are… you can find these chemtrails in nearly in all developed countries or wealthy countries. You do not find them in places like Costa Rica where there is no military and you will not find chemtrails in very poor countries, in African nations for example. Now these chemtrails contain aluminum oxides, barium and many other chemicals that descend on us, they get on our skin, we inhale them and they get into the soil and into our drinking water, for example, Manchester which has a lot of pure water coming out from the streams in the rivers and the lakes, beautiful crystal clear lakes, and they are now polluted with aluminum oxide at a rate of several hundred percent more than admissible by the environmental protective agencies.

So the poisoning of the population with these chemicals in order to, according to their theory, in order to create artificial clouds that then would reflect sunlight so as to reduce the global warming, this intentional poisoning of the population is designed to reduce the population. It affects the reproductive systems, it creates estrogenic effects in people that is why, in heavily sprayed places like California, you go to schools and you find that most of the children are female, they are girls and boys are getting less and less, eventually there would be hardly any boys left because all those chemicals increase the estrogens and they have reduced the male hormones in the body. So a lot of things are happening in the skies.

There are ways to protect ourselves and obviously the best way is to keep the liver clean, make sure that any of those poisons, toxins that accumulate in the liver or in the tissues get removed by cleaning out the liver that allows the blood to be clean and to be able to pick up, take out, other toxins in the rest of the body and to excrete them from the system. Also it is good to keep the kidneys clean, so a kidney cleanse once every three, four, six, eight months will be sufficient to help from that end, and keeping the colon clean obviously because most toxins end up going through the large intestine.

Taking a foot bath with bentonite clay can take these toxins out of the system as well. There are Epsom salts that can be put in bath water, that also helps and there are other wonderful substances in nature that you find in foods, certain vitamins and minerals which are very helpful in cleansing these toxins out of the system, particularly those found in vegetables like broccoli and asparagus which is a great cleanser, and then of course other cruciferous vegetables like cabbages. Cabbages remove radiation toxins so I would highly recommend those. Green leafy vegetables are also very good. Try to get the organic forms of those vegetables as much as you can, because otherwise you just put new chemical toxins into the system, you want to eliminate them and organically grown foods are great cleansers in that respect. And, make sure you drink enough water that can flush out toxins pretty well as long as you do not drink more than two liters of water a day otherwise kidneys which are designed to take back a certain number of minerals and vitamins they will not be able to do that. So if you drink like three liters of water,  you may just flush out these minerals and vitamins which makes it more difficult for the body to function in a heath balanced way.

And this is a very complex subject, I discussed much of it in my book “VACCINE-NATION: POISONING THE POPULATION, ONE SHOT AT A TIME” and also “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION” which fathoms all the different factors that are responsible to create a healthy physical body and also a coherent healthy mind. And so, when we look at what influences the immune system, and keeps it healthy, there are simple things like proper sleep.

There are hundreds of studies now to show that if you sleep early in the evening and that means like nine thirty, ten o’clock, you have a much, much healthier and stronger immune system than if you go to bed let’s say after midnight. This has something to do with the stress hormones that are secreted and certain psychic patterns with the hormonal discharges and secretions like melatonin which make sure that the immune system is healthy and strong, it prevents cancer if secreted properly at the right time of the night which happens from nine-thirty on, provided you have your eyes shut and it is dark around you and you sleep. If you are awake during that time, you do not make enough melatonin which in fact can disturb thyroid functions and all the endocrine hormones are depleted and they are disrupted when you do not get proper sleep.

Also cortisol, which is a hormone… you may secrete too much of it, it is a stress hormone, when you do not sleep enough, that can suppress immune system. Cortisol suppresses the immune system, that is a fact. So when you get stressed for any reason, because you did not have enough sleep during the night or because you have unresolved conflicts in your life, then that can suppress the immune system.

Once again finding ways to resolve conflicts naturally, perhaps keeping in rather than fighting something through and looking at why certain things happen to us so that we can make amends and take our lives into more natural directions. Feeding ourselves in a more natural way rather than taking foods that have suppressive effects on our immune system such as fast food, highly processed foods, that are loaded with pesticides, chemicals, additives, they all suppress the immune system.

So giving children natural foods instead of like a bar of chocolate that often does not even have real chocolate in it, just lot of sugar and preservatives, chemicals and other things, that make it taste good but in reality does not make the person, the body, healthy, it is the food that the body is not really interested in and cannot make use of. So, all of the fast foods that are created in factories and then delivered to MacDonald’s and other places, they are not there to feed the body, they are not there to nourish our body, but the side effect is that they have immune suppressive effects.

What we drink is also very important, water is enhancing the immune system and foods that contain a lot of fructose or high fructose corn syrup, they immediately suppress the immune system. Fructose corn syrup is know to cause many, many illnesses including cancer and diabetes and they lead to high uric acid concentration in the blood which can cause damage to the blood vessels, heart disease and whatever damage the blood vessels can cause, literally any kind of illness that exists in the planet. So it is certain kinds of foods, and definitely it is good to avoid them. Make sure that the children are learning right from the beginning what is useful and beneficial for their health and what is not really considered food, that is just something that they will learn not to put into their bodies.

So, there is another factor and that is sunshine, just like plants need sunshine in order to develop, grow and produce foods for us, if you deprive them of natural sunlight, then, there would not be any food on the planet. Likewise the body, for the essential functions that have to be performed in the organs and systems of it will not be able to work unless there is sufficient amount of vitamin D which controls thousands and thousands of genes in the system, which in turn are responsible for producing certain proteins and enzymes, all the things that we need in order to function in an efficient and vital way.

So by giving our body the adequate amount of sunshine, regular exposure, full body exposure to sunlight allows our body to absorb UV-B which is in turn responsible for the generation, along with the body, certain types of cholesterols to manufacture vitamin D, which is by the way not a vitamin but it is a steroid hormone, and we know that steroid hormones are extremely powerful and influential in our body so, we really want to have adequate amounts of those steroid hormones going through our system every single day.

When the immune system is low, you catch colds, you get flu. Why does the flu happen in the winter time? Because vitamin D is low in the majority of the population. The flu does not happen in other countries where, like in Caribbean countries, where sunshine is plentiful during the winter time, you do not have those flu epidemics going on there. So again it has very much to do, infectious diseases have very much to do with low vitamin D. You do not catch those kinds of infections when vitamin D is normal, it is virtually impossible.

Once again these are simple things that strengthen the immune system. You do not have to take recourse to vaccines to replace what the body can do much, much better when it harmonizes with the rest of the environment when we take care of our diets, lifestyle, eating habits, sleeping habits and stress, doing things in a more natural restive manner. If opportunities get lost, let them go. We do not always have to be perfect. We do not always have to have everything. We can sort of move though life like a river that sometimes takes left turns or right turns, we do not always have to go on a straight line. So we do not have to make sure that life is always planned perfectly and that we achieve all our goals. We can learn as much from failures and mistakes as we can learn from successes.

And so I wish you a very healthy life and good strong immune system. It is in your hands. Your health is definitely in your power and you can take care of it.

It Is Important Not to Over Hydrate the Body

It is important not to over hydrate the body

 Hi, this is a question with regards to cleansing the kidneys and the question is from a spouse who is asking on behalf of her husband and she says, “My husband has polycystic kidneys and he tries to drink three liters of water a day, however, I am also reading that lemon juice without sugar is good for the kidneys, helping with kidney stones. Can some of the water be reduced and replaced with lemon juice and perhaps some honey?”

The answer is first of all drinking too much can be just as harmful as drinking too little. The kidneys can take care of up to maybe a typically six to eight glasses of water…these are eight ounces… of water per day, unless the person exercises very vigorously and may need more, there are also fluctuations depending on the seasons, during the summer season, there is more perspiration, there is also more loss of fluid and that needs to be replenish more. But typically six to eight glasses a day, keeps the doctor away, in a way.

So it is important not to over water the system because it will dilute, it will basically make the kidneys remove too many minerals and vitamins that should be retained. The kidneys have the capacity, I remind you that the kidneys are very small organs, so they are capable of retaining and holding back and putting vitamins and minerals back into the circulation, but if you drink too much, then the kidneys can no longer do this properly and you will lose a lot more minerals and vitamins than you can replenish from the foods that you are eating.

So it is good to make sure that the urine stays colorful, that is does not completely look like water because then you may be drinking too much, but on the other hand, it should not turn dark yellow because that is how you know are not drinking enough. So that would be the best way of measuring, testing, whether you are drinking the right amounts. Make sure that there is some color, a yellowish color in the urine but do not allow it to go to dark yellow.

Otherwise I would not regulate the water intake by any other thing because once again there is a certain amount of toxins that the kidneys can get rid of,  you cannot wash out cysts simply by drinking more water. But,  you can dissolve kidney crystals and kidney stones and that is why I do recommend a kidney cleanse which is in my book ‘THE ‘AMAZING LIVER AND GALLBLADDER FLUSH‘ and you can find the kidney cleanse tea at places like ‘PRESENTMOMENT.COM’, they are located in Minneapolis and they are already… they are putting the right amount of ingredients in the tea, they are mixing it up properly and it is ready to go… to be brewed at home and you can drink that for twenty-one days, one cup each day and that helps to dissolve crystals and stones of any kind. And that is one of the best things you can do.

The other thing you mentioned: lemon. Lemon is also excellent to break down crystals and stones in the kidneys and even in the gall bladder. It is good for calcified stones. So what the amount of lemon is, of course, it should be higher than just a slice of lemon a day. Ideally one or two or if you can, even more lemons per day, that you juice them, you can dilute it if you like, a little bit, but the more concentrated it is, the more effective it will be for breaking down crystals and kidney stones, kidney sand.

You’d be better off not to add anything, including honey, but for the first morning drink I always recommend to drink a glass of warm water to help rehydrate the kidneys and then drinking another glass of warm water with the lemon and that can be where  you can add a whole lemon and a teaspoon of honey that would be fine but, then I would add another at least one or two lemons during the day that should be without any honey or sweetener, just on its own, as concentrated as possible, to dissolve the maximum amounts of crystals in a short time.

Asparagus Is another good food to take in large amounts during this time of helping to dissolve crystals, stones, impediments in the kidneys to allow the cysts to deflate and to be broken down. Again, cysts only develop only when there is obstruction, when there are impediments, when hormones no longer can regulate no more growth of cells, so congestion in the kidneys is best dealt with by removing crystals that have accumulated there and asparagus is a very potent crystal dissolver. And you can see the effect very quickly after eating asparagus, wait for an hour and then if you go and pass urine, you will find it becomes smelly already. So the asparagus enters the kidneys straight away after eating it, so it is very, very potent and a very powerful stone breaker. So I would then suggest he eats that on a day-to-day basis.

Apart from that, making sure not to eat animal proteins that can cause major kidney problems and cysts of any kind, not just in the kidneys, and to have more vegetarian food items,  also be careful with cheese and cow’s milk because they also contribute to these kinds of issues including prostate problems and urinary tract difficulties.

Tap Water Vs Bottled Water

This is a question from Shivanand and it relates to water, particularly to tap water and they were wondering what I think about tap water Vs. bottled water and also knowing that water can stay or go through pipes, dirty pipes, and stay there for a long time and also with knowing that water can stay in plastic bottles for a long, long time before they are sold.

These are certainly concerning facts because we know that plastic bottles leach harmful cancer-producing chemicals into the water. So there is a big issue now with regards to these chemicals raising the body’s hormones, estrogens particularly, which can lead to certain types of cancer growth. They act like growth hormones, they lead to excessive growth patterns in cells. So I am certainly not in favour of any bottled water unless it is a plastic that does not let parts of chemicals enter the water. So once again I am very, very conscious about any bottles. Drinking bottled water means also that you are drinking tap water because that is basically what it is. These companies, they just take regular tap water and then they use a system, mostly reverse osmosis, and they bottle it and then sell it for more money than actually gas, gasoline. So it is a big money- making scheme and it is a scam. I personally do not promote it.

So what I do is, I have a filtration system that filters my tap water. In this way, I know I can remove the contaminants from that water, and it is flowing water and flowing water is always better than stagnant water. Stagnant water is pretty much dead, so it sits in a bottle for a long time, there is really no life force in it, whereas water that you use in your home, you know there is a constant flow because you are flushing toilets, you are showering, you are drinking, you using this water for food, so the water is never stagnant for a long time. Older homes obviously have pipes that can leak, heavy metals that can come through. So a good filtration system is advised in this respect, so I would encourage you to get one and not just drink tap water, but drink tap water that has been filtered, properly filtered, then it is very safe and you are sure that you are not going to be harmed by plastic elements and other noxious substances that may be in the bottled water.

We now know that there are lots of harmful things in bottled water and it is not as clean as it looks.
