Introducing people to natural healing

Hi, the following question is very common and I get it a lot. The question runs like that, Andreas, how do you suggest I introduce people to natural healing, especially people who think that anything that is not mainstream medicine is quackery?

I have been accused of practicing quackery many, many times. I take it very lightly because, when people think that what other people are doing is wrong or misleading, then usually there is something inside them that is misleading other people  or where they have judgments of themselves, where they are very insecure and they want to make sure that they are not challenged in any way, that they are not showing up their fear or allowing other people to see that they are truly afraid. So we are talking about very insecure people who say these kinds of things.

Passing judgment on someone else is always reflecting that there is an unhappy person who has those kinds of thoughts or says those kinds of things to other people. So that is important to remember when you deal with someone who is judging you if you are going the alternative way and you are not following mainstream modalities that possibly could cause injury to you.

Most of the time, however, it is a lack of understanding of what these groups of medicine are all about. If a person receives some more adequate information, he will realize that the real quackery system is actually the mainstream medicine and the alternative medicine may not necessarily be the best form of medicine but it is certainly not as much quackery medicine as mainstream medicine. I have written extensively about  that subject in my book “TIMELESS SECRETS OF HEALTH AND REJUVENATION” and that might be good way for people to understand what, where the origin of quackery is actually coming from.

Quack is basically a person who deals with mercury, it is another word for mercury, quack, and the person who uses quack for fillings in the teeth is performing quackery and so that is the origin. They soon started looking at a person who is doing something that is not supported by what we call ‘scientific research’ or ‘scientific evidence’ but there is far more proof behind those ancient practices, traditional practices that do not have scientific research to back them up, but they are often more effective than what mainstream medicine has to offer. True quackery in the sense of, so it’s negative derivation is to suppress a symptom of disease, to stop the symptom, without dealing with the root causes of that particular illness. That is true quackery.

There is some good research that was done by the New England Journal of Medicine and  also the arm of the Congress, the US Congress, and they discovered that eighty-five to ninety percent of all medical practices that are found to be used in hospitals and doctors’ offices are not backed by valid scientific research, there is nothing behind those practices that is actually scientific, or makes any sense really. There are lots of practices for example, ripping out women’s lymph nodes from the breast glands when they have breast cancer, and that is a practice that has been going on for one hundred years. Recently research came out and completely disputed that there is any benefit from this practice. It had never ever been proven to be a worth following or performing. Yet every doctor that sees a particular type of breast cancer immediately recommends surgery to remove everybody’s lymph nodes because the doctors thought that these lymph nodes containing cancer cells would prevent cancer from migrating or moving to other parts of the body. The research has clearly shown that this is not the case. By  just cutting out the lymph nodes you do not do anything to prevent cancer from showing up in different places all over the body, besides, ripping out the lymph nodes causes severe injury in many women and it can be devastating for many women, plus, it sows the seeds for new cancers because without the lymph drainage, metabolic waste and dead cell material will stay in the soft lymph tissue or breast tissue and sow the ground for new cell mutations and cancer to develop

So it is just one of those, there are hundreds of instances now where the modern medicine turns out to be non=scientific and just hearsay practices where someone said something fifty-sixty years ago such as “Sunshine is dangerous for the human body it causes skin cancer”, there is not a single study that has ever shown that sunshine can produce skin cancers. What has been shown on the other hand is that, the lack of sun exposure reduces the vitamin D levels in the body which is a leading cause of cancer of all kind, including skin cancer

So we are finding that real quackery modalities are found mostly in the western medical model and not in the alternative model. If people took a little bit of effort, if their attention was truly on finding out what this is all about, they would discover a huge number of cases where modern medicine is not reliable and the alternative medicine model is much more reliable and it has not the side effects that modern medicine produces.

We are now finding from new research that the practice of giving statins for example to people who have high cholesterol, is actually increasing the risk of heart disease and heart attacks and not the opposite, it does not lower it. There are many, many drugs on the market that kill people, there is research to show that eight hundred thousand to nine hundred thousand people die each year in the United States alone simply because of the medicine treatments and not because they are sick, not because of their illnesses. So there killed because of the side effects and the abnormal conditions that develop after these medical treatments.

There is a another aspect to medicine treatment and that is diagnosis. Most people think that diagnosis is very innocent and harmless but it is not. We now know and there is again ample research to show that up to seventy five percent of all cancer that are in existence today in modern societies, is due to ionizing radiation. That means radiation from medical technological tools. The diagnostic tools like cat scans, x rays, mammograms which now are shown to actually produce more cancers of the breast than can be diagnosed.

So it is, again quackery is everywhere – you can find it in both fields, alternative and western models – and it has nothing really to do with the system per se, it is the practices that are continuing that are at fault, it is unscientific practices, practices that have never ever shown any advantages… for example we know that bypass operations do not lower mortality rate, so there is not really any benefit from putting in a bypass or stent; in fact the opposite is true. The damage that is done to the heart and particularly the brain, because you have to go under, basically you have to lose your consciousness and when you do that for a certain length of time, it is now known to cause considerable brain damage which then can lead to motor sensory problems, even Parkinson type conditions later in life.

So once again, quackery is a word that has been attributed to alternative medicine but it is sometimes when you point a finger at someone, you have a couple of other fingers pointing back at you and this is certainly true with regards to mainstream medicine

Thank you.
