Scientific studies have associated C. pneumoniae antibody with coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, carotid artery disease, and cerebrovascular disease. Furthermore, the association of C. pneumoniae with atherosclerosis is corroborated by the presence of the organism in atherosclerotic lesions throughout the arterial tree. While there is a near absence of the organism in healthy arterial tissue, C. pneumoniae has been isolated from coronary and carotid atheromatous plaques. All this evidence points toward drawing the conclusion that this microorganism must be causing these common diseases.

Of course, the word “association” can have two completely different meanings here. Either the condition is caused by the bacterium, or the bacterium is merely present during the aforesaid conditions and is involved in something very different than causing disease. If you attribute disease-causing capability to the bacterium, based on the now disputed and flawed germ theory of Louis Pasteur, then indeed, you have a problem at hand that requires external intervention or resolution. The “resolution” however is likely to be fraught with complications (side-effects) which create new issues that tend to be more complex and severe than the ones being treated.

The medical assumption in this and similar diseases is that C pneumoniae and other bacteria are pathogens that somehow by chance or exposure infect the cells supporting the myelin sheath (a wrapping of myelin around certain nerve axons, serving as an electrical insulator that speeds nerve impulses to muscles and other effectors). Since the bacterium in question is intracellular (occurs inside cells), the theory is actually difficult to accept. The body is capable of producing or reproducing any type of bacteria if necessary.

The necessity for bacterial infection is based on the need to decompose extra cells that were created for other reasons than assumed by medical theorists. The necessity to decompose cells as quickly as possible arises only when they are severely undernourished cells (or cells disconnected from other cells due to vitamin D deficiency). Not decomposing damaged, weak cells can have disastrous consequences for the body.

The body and its arsenal of bacteria are ever vigilant to remove dead tissue and avoid accumulating dead cells.

The presence of antibodies to C pneumoniae merely shows that the body is healing something my means of decomposing cells that are potentially obstructive or useless during a stressful period or ongoing conflict/fear in life. The presence of antibodies is meaningful only when we change our interpretation of the roles they play in the body. Antibodies can just as well be called healing bodies, and they should be. Antibodies are also known as immunoglobulins, abbreviated Ig. They include IgA, IgD, IgE, IgG, and IgM. These blood proteins are produced by certain plasma proteins in order to heal a wound or repair other type of damage caused by toxins. The idea they are produced to bind to and fight pathogens or other antigens is once again based on the unproven belief that the body is designed to fight or protect itself against nature.

The body is an integral part of nature and therefore doesn’t need to fight it. The word “anti” preceding the word “body” is not a concept the body believes in. It is based on the outdated idea in the existing model of medicine that claims the body is at constant war with the environment of itself (autoimmune disease). The lack of trust in the wisdom of the body by doctors and scientists is ultimately a subjective belief, which means it can just as well be a false belief. There was a time when nearly every educated person on the planet believed the earth was flat because the scientists of that era said so. Objective science should not include viewpoints or beliefs because these nearly always manipulate the outcome of the scientific investigation.

In truth, the body is not capable of producing anything that harms itself. The notion it is at war with itself or with so-called pathogens is based on misconceptions created by the medical model that keeps people enslaved and fearful (not in control). This perceptual projection may in fact be the main reason behind reasons for “disease” to occur. The so called disease is rather the natural built-in response by the body to deal with an underlying, ongoing biological stress which in turn is triggered by fear and the resulting fight or flight response.

To repeat, the body is not capable of making mistakes. At any given time, it collaborates with thousands of species of bacteria, none of which are harmful for the body. During breastfeeding, every mother transfers tuberculosis (TB) bacteria to her baby. Contrary to common opinion, TB bacteria are actually harmless and remain inactive unless, of course, the need arises to activate and proliferate them. This is necessary for mainly two reasons.

One, during food shortage, (famines), injury, and otherwise stressful periods in life, the body may require to break down existing healthy cells to release essential amino acids into the body’s amino acid pool or to allow for increased passage of nutrients and oxygen to congested or nutrient-deficient organs, Second, to build extra new cells, falsely called cancer cells, in order to deal with increased demand for oxygen and nutrients during a flight or flight situation. With regard to MS, the former principle applies.

With regard to cancer, the latter principle applies. Common to both responses lies an underlying unresolved psycho- physiological situation. The fear of separation, death, abandonment, not being in control, etc, drives the body into an active survival mode. The type of emotion involved determines how the body responds. Once the situation is resolved or no longer appears to be so threatening, the body changes gear and reverses the survival mode. At this stage, the healing process (“disease”) begins.

At some stage during the healing process, either extra, proliferated cells or, weak and damaged cells, are being targeted by TB bacteria, yeast, other types of infectious bacteria and fungi since these are the most apt mop-up crews nature can make available to us. Why else would over 90% of the cells that compose our body be bacteria cells? The 10% human cells and 90% bacteria cells that make up our body work in perfect harmony with one another.

War is a concept that applies to human conflicts, but not to the world of nature unless it serves to restore or maintain the ecological balance. In the body, ecological balance is called homeostasis. Just as it applies to the rest of nature, for the body to return to a state of balance, the body sometimes has to use the temporary measures of inflaming and destroying of extra cells that were built during severe stress, or targeting weak, damaged cells created during times of congestion, exposure to toxins, or undernourishment.

The fact that most MS sufferers have C pneumoniae shows the body’s built-in healing mechanisms work very efficiently. If the infection were actually supported, allowed to continue, and reach its natural climax (healing crisis), and not be intercepted by a fear-induced stress response and/or medical intervention, the healing and self-repair would reach its natural conclusion. This would occur according to the body’s special healing programs.

Typically, the final stage of healing is very uncomfortable and it is easy to misinterpret the situation. For example, in the case of a cancerous tumor, the tumor would grow more rapidly during the actual healing phase (versus the manifestation stage). The healing phase includes increased swelling, buildup of lymph fluid, heat, redness, fever, perspiration, weakness, and pain to help facilitate an increased production of especially TB bacteria, yeast, and fungi in the tumor.

Once enough of the destructive germs are present to decompose all the extra, proliferated cells, the infection will reach its peak and the breakdown of the tumor begins. The lymph congestion will now subside and the decomposed tumor cells will be discarded and removed via the kidneys, as shown by the saturation of the urine with proteins. Giving antibiotics at this stage to deal with the “dangerous infection”, and the misguided fear of the patient and the doctor’s “serious concerns” are primarily responsible for not allowing a real cure to occur. The growth of new tumors (falsely called metastases), may be secondary attempts by the body to restart the healing process.

The idea, “something is wrong with my body”, is perhaps the biggest obstacle for the body’s healing program to become successfully executed. Thus, the chronic condition of a disease merely reflects the type and length of interference with the body’s healing programs. Healing is a natural phenomenon that can solely be achieved by the body. Only the body heals; medication, supplements, or medical treatments cannot heal anything. The diseases that medical textbooks refer to are merely misprinted labels attached to the different unique and intricate healing processes the body uses to help restore its balance.

Medical treatment should only consist of supporting the body in its effort, not stop it. Killing germs, such as C. pneumoniae, TB, bacteria or H.Pylori, can bring quick relief and effect the disappearance of disease symptoms (the body’s healing programs). Although this might please the patient and make the doctor feel he is doing a great job, but typically such an approach causes more severe healing symptoms later on.

Postponing, relieving or suppressing the body’s built-in healing programs can be risky. It is a form of medical malpractice which prevails in today’s medical system, and I hold it responsible for the massive escalation of chronic illness in the world. In my opinion, doctors should not be allowed to treat patients unless they can show they understand, respect and support these healing programs. Since such a deviation from the medical paradigm is highly unlikely, we will have to take matters into our own hands if want to solve our health care crisis. We can begin by trusting in the wisdom of the body, which I believe is the first and most important step to healing any condition.
